There's a reason why you guys are successful. Well, more than one reason. But your mindset and ability to adapt and give what your viewers/customers want is unparalleled. I bet you guys weren't the only ones that thought of doing this . But it's because of how you guys tackled it (such as creating your own site instead of relying on eBay and their exorbitant fee, and using tik tok to drive traffic to your site). And the sheer amount of work you guys put into it, not just the product side, but the content side. Pumping out crazy amount of videos per day everyday. Hats off to you guys. Congratulations on your wild success.

This is such an insane story, I been wanting to open my own grading company mostly because I love watching packs being opened but I personally love the artworks and I actually like the tedious backend work or organizing, and all that I just need someone to do the content creation side stuff as I am not one to make videos or tiktoks and all that lol but I'd thought to partner with similar stores because I am moving into a new city that doesn't have a big cardshop or anything like that at all and I'd personally love to see more people play Pokemon and have fun.
I love the cardshop atmospheres and grew up in the arcade era times so I've always loved those small pop up shops that would sell baseball cards and have an arcade machine and there's nothing like that in the new city I am moving to.
So, this is super inspiring to see and what a cool thing you've done! I love that you include your wife in the pack battles and all that, that's really fun. I had a partner but we ended up splitting unfortunately and I been in a rut. We broke up just the past weekend so I am trying to move forward with my life but it's hard.
Anyway, what a really cool story you got and it's cool you think about getting your customers the best deal you can. I been trying to figure out how to open my grading company but I don't like the current grading market in how much they charge per card, especially for the average person who just wants their childhood card in a nice display, so I'd like to adopt your kind of mindset there.
For me, this is just an extension of what I love and sure the profits would be nice if I could make a living off of it, but really honestly, I just love sharing seeing the artwork and cards be opened and it's because I got to open cards with my niece and it made those memories of my first pack during base set extra special. My niece loves opening cards and so with the extras I'd donate decks to schools or libraries with card shops or clubs so that was super super fun. That's why I'd want to do grading use the extras to make cool stuff for kids and people and then those who have special cards have something cool and fun to display and then if people are more serious about it help alleviate the huge flux of cards to hopefully make a better deal for average collectors or people in that ballpark.
Sorry for the longwinded comment, I just enjoyed your video and you inspired me :)

not to be a negative nelly but the state of grading has been going down hill, with youtubers being banned from PSA for resubmitting the same card multiple times and showing how the grade changed multiple times, all over...its just something that a lot of people are losing trust in. It would be amazing if a new grading company could start up and compete with CGC and Beckett so gooooood luck.

Hi there! What do you do when you find thousands of your old Pokemon cards, have little to no knowledge of value let alone time and energy to sell them individually online (unless they are higher end rare or holo cards).. grading seems a little risky and expensive, is it risky to sell on marketplace, and or are their trustworthy people to take your cards to in person that will sort theough them and give you a decent profit? I have no interest in selling pokemon cards full time just want them gone and not to be totally jipped by letting them go if that makes sense..

Those prices were from 2021 when we started the company. Things were easy then. Now we pay very close to the market price but profit from volume

I also have an online store, its been great, similar story except i stay low profile, i dont want to make big numbers because that would be too much work lol, i only work half day and travel a few months every year (i shut down almost everything when i do it). My business is not pokemon stuff or cards, completely different, i think there is market for everything in this case its stuff that i like so i enjoy it since i began doing it almost 20 years ago.

With all the hard time I've had coordinating with Japanese seller I just put in an order. It's funny because i've debated on trying to set something up similar to what your doing other than with a few difference. Until then I'll keep ordering, might reach out about some bulk buys if that's something you'd be interested in
