I have the master set of the original series. All of jungle, fossil, and base. All the movie cards. And a few unopened original packs of jungle, base, all the team rocket packs as well as gym hero’s.
I sold my PSA Mint 9 collection of the first eight versions of Charizard's for 3500 right before Pokémon go came out. A 1st edition, Shadowless, Unlimited, Base II, All 3 Legendary Collection versions, and a Stormfront. All to pay off credit card debt, and I couldn't be more upset.
I am Japanese. I'm using translation software, so I'm sorry if my English is bad. Actually, I'm not a collector, but fate brought me the 10 cards from Pokémon Art Academy x Pokémon Card Game winner's prize that make up my top 10. "Mame Akimaru Pikachu""pikamania Pikachu""Y Fujishima Pikachu""Sayaka Maruyama Pikachu""gogotake Pikachu""Daisuke Ochiai Mudkip""Mio Muroi Goomy""iwaiya Sableye""rina Gourgeist""Ginga Pikachu"
You should be proud of yourself for not contributing to this wave of fully grown bearded men glossing over cute adorable fluffy looking Pokemon 😂 there’s other tcgs bros I was into it too as a kid but it starts looking ridiculous as you get older if your excuse is that you do it for money well there’s other tcgs worth investing in
Pokémon is more than just the physical cards and amazing old gameboy games. It’s who got them for us as a kid. It’s the excitement of pulling those holos over the actual holo itself. It’s our memories we shared with friends while enjoying anything Pokémon. My special cardboard holds the keys to unforgettable moments in my childhood that I cherish.
Even after competing regionally when I was younger, I don't have any of my cards left. I used to have some beautiful base set cards. As time went on I had to sell them all (my family was really poor so I had to help buy groceries). However, now I have two. I recently purchased a PSA 9 Japanese Here Comes Team Rocket in addition to the 25 anniversary English version at a 10. That card always eluded me as a kid because I could never afford it. I'm so grateful that I have been blessed enough to be able to get that card, even if it is over 20 years later. I hope to get a Japanese Lugia from the first set of those at some point. That was the pride of my collection as long as I had it. Anyhoo, you asked for our favorites. Thanks for the content, homie. It's nice to feel nostalgic.
I had 2 first edition Charizard's back in elementary school, as well as an entire binder of a ton of great cards. When I was in high school, I sold my binder for $800 because I needed gas money to hang out with my friends. Biggest mistake ever lol.
8:58 That comes to show how rare a PSA 10 is in that year. This one is slightly off center to the left. They improved the centering in following years.
Owning a CGC blue label copy of the Charizard AND Pikachu Gold Metal cards in Pristine 10 myself, I have always wondered who owns the ONE Perfect 10 copy of the Charizard 😂 Nice to finally know 🎉
Love the transparency on pricing, and the authenticity surrounding your personal choices. That really brings light and passion to a hobby that’s so emotional. This is great content.
I have the big 3 base set mons in german (my language) in first edition, from when I pulled them. My mom put them in a picture frame as a gift when I was younger and kept them ever since. They are in great condition (no whitening/bends/specks) due them behing behind glass all this time. they are priceless to me.
My favorite item is my 1st edition shining gyarados. It is my favorite because it reminds me when I played pokemon silver for the first time when I was a kid, uncovering the gyarados in the lake was so magical!
This was honestly my favorite video I think I've ever watched of yours!! I LOVED hearing the back stories and seeing your most prized possessions of the pokemon world! I love watching all of your content. Keep being an amazing streamer and pack opener!! I get to live my dream through your videos because I will never be able to own most of what you share! Absolutely amazing!! Much love!!
It's amazing that you've been able to do this. I lost my entire base set, base set 2, team rocket, some Japanese, Fossil, and Jungle cards in hurricane Katrina in 2005. Really wish I would have bought sealed cases when they were around $600. I was just caught up in work, family, etc that time passed and now it's impossible. I almost pulled the trigger on one base set for $17,500 a few years back but couldn't justify it with three kids and wife. All I have now is Pokemon Yellow and Crystal version that I found at a local Bookmans to keep my emotions in check
The only card I have left that means a lot to me from my childhood is my “Feraligatr Delta Species” It’s actually the only card I’ve ever had graded from my own submission. Own plenty of PSA cards but it’s the only one from my own collection/pack opening that I’ve submitted! Will always have a special place in my heart.
Number 6 feels like so long ago. That was when Pokémon was full swing again and the whole world was in on it . Good times🥲that video was in such a good period of my life and seeing that clip made me smile✊🏽
I love when Pokémon UA-camrs show there collections! Also I love your vids so much you always make my day. The things you have in your collection CRAZY the base set booster box, base set booster box and the psa 10 signed charizard are definitely my favourites.
I fell strangely connected to this video; I am currently in Japan for my two year-delayed honeymoon after saving up and I am loving every moment of enriching myself with the culture and pokemon scene. I laughed when I saw the little clip of you and Mewtwo cause I did the same thing a few days ago lol
I remember getting into the card game. I got into it when it first came out. Opening up a pack and finding the Charizard was amazing. I was so angry when it got stolen. Then I traded for another one, which the little brat did a quick swap for a scratched up copy. He's lucky I'm a pacifist. Oh well, I was more of a player rather than a collector. But the best moment was playing in the 1st regionals and finishing in 4th and being invited to the 1st world tournament in LA. Sadly, I couldn't go. No money. But it was amazing and my P.I.T.A. deck carried me through.
My top item is a 1/3 cgc pristine 10 reverse holo charizard from xy evolutions that I got signed by Jason Paige. I got it signed myself, and I have a lot of good memories with that card!
Love videos like this. Pokemon means so much to me and has my whole life, so I love seeing things like this, showing things that also mean so much to people. Pokemon really raised a lot of us, or also helped us express ourselves as who we are, and that means a lot.
I didn't collect enough growing up and I regret it now, but I do have a binder full in pokedex order 1-251 that is all base set/neo genesis cards and that's my most prized possession that's gotta be worth something but I'll forever hold onto it
I’ve been collecting Pokémon cards since I was 12, I’m now 37 and continue to collect with my two sons. I have opened thousands of booster packs from all types of sets and have never pulled ANY version of Charizard. It’s always a heartbreak when I come home with some booster packs for me and my kids to open and we all get excited thinking this is the time we’re going to pull one and then… nothing. Well at least not a Charizard. That being said my favorite card I pulled is Aroma Lady secret rare 😅 it’s become a running inside joke in our household. Also very fond of my japanese version base set Blastoise, moltress, Sabrina’s Alakazam, and team rocket Mewtwo.
Ultra prism got me back into collecting but I still have some of my old childhood cards. As primarily an eeveelution collector, my dark espeon, my espeon ex, vaporeon ex and flareon ex from back in the day really hold my heart. Also have the original three flareon, jolteon, and vaporeon from jungle in the holo version and barring any major veterinary procedures, I’ll never let them go. More recently I pulled the charizard alternate art from 151 and it’s the rarest card I’ve ever pulled myself. That’s a different feeling of giddy. Pokemon will always hold a place in my heart. It was something me and my brother shared growing up, something we related to and something we both loved. He took his life in 2019 and and it’s something that still makes me feel close to him and brings back so many memories both good and bad. I’ll forever cherish those memories and keep collecting because let’s face it, I’m a hoarder with poor money habits and pokemon just feels good. It puts the smile on my face when sometimes little else does. It’s amazing how something like this can bring a vast community from across the world together and keep us together this long.
My top one has more sentimental value to me. You autographed my PSA 10 of the Charizard art rare from VMAX Climax (with Leon in the artwork). Then got to open a Base Set 2 Pack from your vending machine. Truly one of the most fun moments of my life, all thanks to you!!
My favorite items in my collection are my sequential pair of Evolutions Charizard PSA 10 and Evolution Charizard Pre-Release PSA 10! Graded them out myself during covid. They were stuck at PSA during the closing where they were like $15000 for the pair! lol. Dropped since then, but doesnt matter, they are my babies!
My favorite card that I have is a base set Chansey unlimited set. I also got a gold card from the Pokémon GO set. Thank you for posting a video that is helping me not think about the weather.
I was able to purchase two of the Celebrations UPCs at MSRP and (expectedly), both of my Pikachus and one of my Charizards came scratched/defect straight from the clamshell. I missed the boat on the inital PSA submissions for the UPC Metal Charizards and carefully stored my 2nd one. When PSA finally updated their process and reopened I sent it off on the basic tier, and me getting the call that I have an upcharge in my submission (for the first time) made it really memorable and its nice to have a card I bought myself at MSRP come back a 10. Honorable mentions are my two Hidden Fates Zards that both came back as 9's, were an extremely nervy cracking process, then both came back as 10's the 2nd time :)
Please more like this Leonhart!!! I miss the older videos of you talking about your cards and going out in the wild to buy packs. I don't mind you opening old packs, but I care more about your personality in videos instead you pulling expensive cards. I hope all is good in your life!!!
That’s zard was super special Covid zard. Plus watching poketubers like you helped kept me claim through out that hard time. My favourite card in my collection would have to be a flareon holo from jungle. First holo I ever pulled
My favorite cards from my collection are a set of reverse holo castforms from Hidden Legends! I have all the forms, but I love the rainy in particular bc I pulled it myself in 2004 and kept it until now. My favorite pokemon!
My wife has a binder full of 1995-1999 Japanese 1st edition ultra rares. Including that card, Machamp (still in the sealed wrapper), Garados, Venasaur, Venomoth, Charizard, and so many more. Wish I knew how much they were worth and if any collectors would be interested in them
Your channel is so nostalgic to me and I can't believe it has been 3 years since I started watching your videos when there was nothing else to during lockdown. We are the same age, so probably have very similar nostalgic memories of collecting Pokémon cards in the late 90s/early 2000s. Your channel brings me warmth when I watch it. Thanks man :)
My favorite things in our collection is my Inteleon deck. Inteleon was my partner in the first game I ever played so he will always be my favorite Pokemon.
I didnt have 10 favorite Card. Because i have 1 favorite Pokémon and i artwork that i love and have the japanese eevee heroes Special card from the XXL box. The Espeon VMAX Alternative Artwork in a PSA 10. Espeon is legit my favorite Pokémon if all time and i love that arteork so much. Too have the card makes me so unbelievable happy its creazy ! ❤😊 But thanks to share this video with us and have a great time with the card and your Family Leonhart !
Fan-made card idea alert: CP and Shiny Ride Koraidon ex card. Koraidon's moves include the Ability known as Racing Circuit and the ex attack Drag Race Disaster, which, if a coin lands heads, does 5 times the 300 damage the attack normally does, for a total of a whopping 1500 damage! My Shiny Koraidon OP Please Nerf...
I'm just starting to collect pokemon cards but was interested from way back, my top and favourite one is the IR Charmander from 151, it has the cutest and cleanest art of the set
Love your passion Leonhart! Keep up the great videos! I remember when you opened that pack for #6... I felt your pain the same way when the packaging was ripping in such a bad way.😅😅
Rarest card I ever owned was "______'s Pikachu" AKA Birthday Pikachu. I got it at some point while playing in the card league along with all of the badges, sometime around 2001. I think I still have those rattling around in a box somewhere. Sold it for $75 in 2016 I think, not sure what it was actually worth I just trusted the shop (Cool Stuff Games HQ in Maitland, FL) because I needed money for gas to get to my new job. I still miss it, I'm afraid to look up the value lol.
Really awesome cards and stuff. I bought every starter Holo from the base set. I just wanted to have them in my collection. They are not 10s but very important for me ❤
My favorite Pokémon stuff that I have is Pokémon games… I have Pokémon Colosseum // Bonus Disc Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness Pokémon heart gold and soul silver Pokémon platinum Pokémon shining pearl Pokémon revolution Pokémon firered // Emerald I think that’s it…..
deffinately my zapdos from fossil, only card i have left from my childhood, working on my collection again now so hopefully soon i can pull a moonbreon and more.
Whao thats awesome i was there when i lived in Hawaii. I remember my friend got a tropical pack with only reverse hollows got into a fight in school and everyones pokemon cards flew everywhere and someone took all the tropical cards and he was heartbroken for like the longest time.
my possibly most valuable card is a first edition shadowless alakazam holo. one of my favorites is an Erica's venusaur, that my mom got me from a yard sale several years back for 10$ ( along with 500 other cards in a binder) such an amazing day !!
I remember watching you pulled that 1sr edition char the day you uploaded it. I remember dying when you stood up and just when I thought it was all business attire, you were in shorts 😂😂😂😂😂.
I’ve got a 1st edition Ivy Pikachu, sealed W stamp Dark Charmeleon, prerelease Clefable, 1999 PokeTour Pikachu, 1st edition Dark Riachu and sealed E3 Pikachu.
Thanks for the video Lee! I haven't really got a top 10, I have started collecting every Psyduck card with my boy though, currently they are probably my favorites.
Hey man, great video. I wish you would do more like this. Show your genuine self, and just talk about the hobby.. even it is while you are opening up some random S&V set
Some of my favorite cards my older brother gave to me when I was a kid,he gave me three Japanese cards and one English card and they were holo Dark Machamp, holo Giovanni’s Gyarados and non holo Blaine’s Dodrio and then a English Dark Gyarados,Charizard is my favorite Pokémon and one of my favorite Charizard cards is the cracked ice holo from a Evolutions pack.
This is so great to watch as you got some amazing things here, while some of my favorite things I got is the Jumbo cards as I hang them on my wall, plus some of my favorite cards are the old Japanese cards that I have managed to get.
My “best” card in my collection is a psa 10 holo dark gengar. However, the card that means the most to me is the golden snorlax card I pulled in the last pack of the first booster box I ever purchased!
Love seeing your collection man!!! So pumped for you and just the journey you’ve made! My highlights are my shadowless machamp first edition and my rayquaza psa 10!
Before I sold all my cards in 2008 I had an amazing collection that I am just now slowly trying to rebuild. Right now I have the big 3 base set, non shadowless, Lugia, Umbreon and Pichu from Neo and a 1st edition Dragonite from Fosil. I have some other but those are my main ones. What I want to work on is getting all the shining Pokémon from Neo.
Love your collection and the passion you have for it! I have a lot of cards that I need to grade but my best ungraded is a metagross gold star prob gonna be a psa 6-7ish bc it’s not the best condition wise. My best grades card is my 2016 CP6 Japanese Blastoise secret rare PSA 10. Pulled it back then and only graded it recently.
*What are the Top 10 Pokemon cards in your collection?*
i have a 300 dollar Charizard and and a hollow swampert from gen 3 and i had a shiny mew card form the 25 year anniversary but i lost it
I have ALL the Eevee Evolutions, including the first three.
@@Grumblemunch1 I have them to
I have the master set of the original series. All of jungle, fossil, and base. All the movie cards. And a few unopened original packs of jungle, base, all the team rocket packs as well as gym hero’s.
I have a 1st edition holo Fossil Dragonite… but it’s really well loved.
Leonhart just casually showed us $1,000,000 worth of collectors items in this video. Holy moly.
Makes me sick that I had all these cards when I was younger.
Some he showed were recent my man xD
Same lol
@@marypoppins1373 true but the shadowless 1st Ed. I had that lol
I doubt you had "all" the cards he showed.
You should be proud of yourself for not contributing to this wave of fully grown bearded men glossing over cute adorable fluffy looking Pokemon 😂 there’s other tcgs bros I was into it too as a kid but it starts looking ridiculous as you get older if your excuse is that you do it for money well there’s other tcgs worth investing in
Dark Charmelion by far one of my favorite cards ever and my favorite art work ever for charmelion.
FUNNY how all these " memories " d mean F nothing if these cards were overpriced right 🙂
Sorry but a 30 plus utuber who beard n bald, opening 200 k base set, isn't a sign that he cherishes his memories. It s just greed e

My favourite cards in my collection:

PSA 9 Crystal Guardian Charizard
PSA 8 XY Japanese Charizard Promo
Owning a CGC blue label copy of the Charizard AND Pikachu Gold Metal cards in Pristine 10 myself, I have always wondered who owns the ONE Perfect 10 copy of the Charizard 😂 Nice to finally know 🎉
Love the transparency on pricing, and the authenticity surrounding your personal choices.
That really brings light and passion to a hobby that’s so emotional. This is great content.
My favourite starter is Squirtle and it’s my third favourite Pokémon behind Hawlucha and Centiskorch.
My top card is a Skyridge Crystal Charizard PSA 10. It was the first card I got graded by PSA and I was beyond excited when I received it back!
I have the big 3 base set mons in german (my language) in first edition, from when I pulled them. My mom put them in a picture frame as a gift when I was younger and kept them ever since. Mario/Luigi Pika set in PSA 10 is my best

You were too rough with opening that 1st edition base set pack. That's probably why it got a psa 9. Awesome collection, I envy you.
WOW... what an amazing collection! Thank you for sharing this and all the stories attached to each card. Very cool.
Japanese Sabrina’s Gengar with the graveyard background is my most prized card that I own 😈
Get the slab and autograph certified by PSA.
Wow! That skyridge collection is amazing.
I was expecting some rarer stuff, but this is definitely neat to see. Amazing collection.

I pulled a Shining Charizard as a kid from Neo Destiny and have kept it (and the rest of my collection) all these years. :)
These are GORGEOUS!

Awesome Top 10. Can't wait to see what else you add to your collection.
My top two would be

That slab signed by Arita is also one of the last ones before it became mandatory for all Arita signatures to be personalized to someone
I love this series
I'm just starting to collect pokemon cards but was interested from way back, my top and favourite one is the IR Charmander from 151, it has the cutest and cleanest art of the set
That metal Charizard perfect ten is sick.
I don't know what the exact value is today, but $15k seems like a good price...
I still miss it, I'm afraid to look up the value lol.
did you have 5 items that weren't just a pokemon card haha. Love it. Maybe do top 5 favorite art works for different eras (Sword and Sheild, XY, etc.)
My top cards in my collection are my 9 graded holo hitmonchan and 6 graded holo scyther, just bc they are my 2 favorite all time
Really awesome cards and stuff. I bought every starter Holo from the base set. I just wanted to have them in my collection. They are not 10s but very important for me ❤

Super awesome, love that you appreciate the rare items not just cards ❤️
deffinately my zapdos from fossil, only card i have left from my childhood, working on my collection again now so hopefully soon i can pull a moonbreon and more.
Number 1 for me is my PSA Shiny MewTwo from Hidden Fates. It's my favorite set and my favorite Pokemon. It's not worth much but to me it's my favorite
That’s 2020 for ya! lol hilarious!
That was so hilarious!!! Business up top, party down below 😂
Doesn't dubsy have some of these?
It's one of your best videos.
Can the flash cards be graded?
Hey man, great video. I wish you would do more like this. Show your genuine self, and just talk about the hobby.. even it is while you are opening up some random S&V set
Some of my favorite cards my older brother gave to me when I was a kid,he gave me three Japanese cards and one English card and they were holo Dark Machamp, holo Giovanni’s Gyarados and non holo Blaine’s Dodrio and then a English Dark Gyarados,Charizard is my favorite Pokémon and one of my favorite Charizard cards is the cracked ice holo from a Evolutions pack.
My fav set of all time is Ex Team Rocket Returns 😊
This is so great to watch as you got some amazing things here, while some of my favorite things I got is the Jumbo cards as I hang them on my wall, plus some of my favorite cards are the old Japanese cards that I have managed to get.
Honorable mention is a christmas gift like those advent calendars. Neat holiday season though I hope this year they don't use pikachu again.
My “best” card in my collection is a psa 10 holo dark gengar. However, the card that means the most to me is the golden snorlax card I pulled in the last pack of the first booster box I ever purchased!
Love your love of squirtle 🐢
Love seeing your collection man!!! So pumped for you and just the journey you’ve made! My highlights are my shadowless machamp first edition and my rayquaza psa 10!
A couple official unique Pokemon items in my collection are a jumbo corocoro Charizard and an actual racing windbreaker with the Pokemon logo on it
My favorite card in my collection is an Ash and Pikachu full art card. Ungraded. Just in a sleeve sitting in my son's time capsule
Fabulous collection 👌God bless you for keeping this going everyone who opens
a TR PSA 10 Is pretty bad ass ! considering squirrel is 1 of 3
I always thought the Ishihara card was Jackie Chan just because the animated drawing just looks like him lol
My favourite cards are my clefairy cards, I don't have anything super rare but I just like the pokemon 😊
I want to kick my self for having base set cards growing up and no idea what I did with them :)
your collection is absolutely amazing
Just a great, positive, chill video 🔥
