I wouldn't look at it as "justifying" the action you took, I would look at it as offering a different perspective to someone that might be in the same situation and was on the fence about walking away from their lease and hadn't thought about some of the points you made. What they decide to do with that information is as personal to them as it was to you and no one should fault you or anyone else for making whatever decision they deem appropriate for their family or their situation. Personally, I appreciate hearing information like this because sometimes I do base my decisions on the information gained from other people's experience.
Bro I would never talk on UA-cam about my truck because that’s your business no one but you show your trips and your loads your on point that’s your business have a great day
Spent Christmas Day with my family and grand baby, he is only 3 months, Can’t wait till next Christmas. Told his dad he will need to bring a semi truck for all his gifts he will get..haha….Merry Christmas 🎅🏻!
What’s dumb is paying off a truck you won’t ever own to chase a “bonus” you are paying for. I was told the same thing. The most you’ll ever get as a solo driver is 30k over 3 years. At 300k miles of wear and tear that “bonus” gets cut in half. You MAY make 13-18k after they bleed you dry for every little thing that comes up. That’s a perfectly turned in truck. How many more shop repairs do you think you’ll have in 10 months? How many hotels will you need to cover if it’s something major? So 5-5500 a month over 10 months if you’re lucky enough to stay running. You’ll need a trans service before you turn it in. If you have a Pete you must pay for and have the overhead done. The minute you pay off your truck you just gave yourself a 60k a year bonus. Those 10 months you gave yourself 45-50k bonus cause it’s yours that much sooner. But everyone wants to argue when they don’t know what they are talking about. None of them have done anything smart. That’s why they get excited over buying prime trucks to get a sliver of what they should get. But if you think a “free” dinner is worth losing 60k, go right ahead. I don’t know how these people math, cause it’s clearly on a third grade level
You will never be fully able to explain yourself on social media because there is always going to be those people out there. Just be yourself and let us keep following along!! Stay safe.
The only mistake you made was waiting so long. Great advice. My plan once im in my lease truck is to save every nickel possible to get into my lease purchase. Thanks for all of the great content of your journey.
Yeah. The uncertainty of things kept me from doing it sooner. That could be a regret for me. But I also learned a lot throughout in a truck that was not mine. So🤷🏻♂️…
Hey my friend, I have literally stopped posting for up to a month at a time because of the comment section and I did the same thing you did. I gave up my lease but two months before because my truck came in. I do not regret it you’ve got to do what’s best for you And think of it this way you quit your lease Ten months early but your truck will be paid off 10 months early also and how much will all those weekly payments that you’re not paying for those 10 months be worth? I guarantee you it’s a lot more than your end of the lease bonus
Why didn’t u buy ur old truck from success leasing? Maybe they would have sold to u btw 80 to 100k, den u can collect all ur excess millage charges, tire fund/lease completion bonus money, ur old truck was less Dan 300k in millage
he dont give all the numbers--- he dont mention his take home and yet he took alot of time off and was trying to catch up---- HE ISNT BEING HONEST UNLESS HE THROWS UP ALL HIS NUMBERS FOR THE LAT THREE YEARS
I’m not sure about your math. But numbers aren’t my thing so… I’m not convinced turning in early is right move for me but I think you should do what you want and don’t look back. I made a huge French toast breakfast at home for my son and I on Christmas morning 😊
Thats nice!!! It would have been nice to be home🥲. When it comes to turning it early. It really depends on the goals/plans each person has😉. I wish I would’ve ordered mine sooner. Even with all that I got charged I am still spending less money in the long term. Merry Christmas! And Happy New Year!!! (Again…😉😊)
I often recall my trainer telling me to get into a truck with less than a year left on lease and then getting a lease purchase. But I was not ready for that at the time. In hindsight tho he was right 🫣
It’s not a good decision, why return d truck dat has worked well for u for over 2 yrs, no break downs essentially, truck has been put tru it’s paces without issues , less Dan 300k miles. I guess u put down $14k as deposit on dis new truck, in 3 years when done paying off d truck it would almost be old iron in primed estimation and won’t last too long on prime’s DOT
I did the same thing you did, I did it 10 years ago, I understand completely what you’re doing and the way you see it, but do not expect these clowns watching your videos to understand that there is a thing called “seeing the big picture” most of these idiots are here just waiting for you to fail to tell you “I told you so” I have purchased 3 trucks so far with Prime and I’m sure I have made more money than most of these super truckers talking shit on your comment section. I’m not the most knowledgeable guy, but you can send me an email and we can chat anytime you like.
I see the big picture . I see big mega carriers monopolizing this industry , thanks to you guys . I see you guys getting lower and lower rates , lower and lower miles . I see most of you guys going bankrupt and being more dependent of those corporations. I see you guys becoming slaves of your own ego, stupidity , ignorance . I see more and more truckers being exploited and abused by those few mega carriers . You think because you bought more trucks you are successful???? Do you paid to your drivers at least 1 dollar per mile , medical benefits , vacation , 401k ? Do you ? If you don’t , then you are just like those mega carriers and corporations . You are perpetuating the abuse and exploitation. That is the future I see , thanks to you guys .

Well said! Thank you so much
I went lease purchase at prime, completed it, and I am enjoying not making those payments anymore.

The best lease completion bonus is getting the title to your truck
Well said!

Trying to explain things to some people is an exercise in futility. Your only mistake was not making that decision way earlier
Live and learn. Happy Holidays.
Blessings brother, drive safe

Nice Shirt! 🎉
Hey bro just checking in. Never explain yourself if you don’t feel the need to

Yeah, they brought back the option to buy your lease at some point and I wasn’t aware. But also honestly I wanted to order a truck how I wanted it😅
You should dot it in 2023
Yes. I should have😪

Yeah, it was a mistake simply you have only 10 months to complete it.
I disagree. The sooner you can get out of it, the better.
The bla bla bla continues!
I got some more bla bla bla in spanish next😏
@ please no!
