Thank you so much for this! When i was 7 years old back in 2007, this game was the first i ever played. Also, with the Jango Fett head at 2:13, it is just like the actual minifigure where you would have to turn the face around when the helmet was on.

C M They changed that around 2014~2015 or so, when TFA came out. They started using generic mad faces to those characters with helmets. There was a time when there were certain models where the head was pure black and painted the skin over it. Weird to think about it, specially because some characters don't need any face whatsoever. Some nice nostalgia here. I played this game (The Complete Saga on PC) as a kid together with my dad. I still remember that we found 11 out of 10 minikits in one level.
I remember when I played this years ago, I managed to stumble upon 11/10 minikits on dagobath, found an extra one in the Yoda hut. Looked it up and apparently a developer accidently included minikit spots from a previous revision of the game, and miscounted or something. I also found 12/10 on another map, I forgot which one, makes me wonder if there are any other maps that have >12 minikits in them, which no ones discovered lol. Also another interesting thing I found is that you can go outside the boundary and see the open space from behind at the end of Cloud City Trap, if you go around the circular platform at the very end past where there's a stormtrooper required door, and jump off at the right angle. But yeah, just found that pretty cool.
Excuse me for a second. In Lego Starwars: The Complete Saga for the DS, in the debug menu exists a beta level called something along the lines of "test playground." But when you run it, it says the SD card was removed, and to turn off the system. I know you are the guy to hopefully go into the files and see the level, I hope someone notices this. Thanks! And also, even TCRF doesn't know!
Sounds like it was designed to load test levels off an SD card. The dev models of the DS probably had an SD card slot that could be used for such purpose, since regular DS' don't have an SD slot it throws an error. DSi and 3DS do have SD slots but they may not be recognized the same way by the game (the internal address is probably different).
He has said "I wholey expect to be ripped apart by star wars fans for mispronouncing one thing or mistakenly saying one place when it was another. It's star wars. No one can walk away unharmed." but even I thought of that.
Here are a few of my own discoveries in the LEGO Star Wars games. Not really Boundary Break-related, but developer technique-related regardless and might be of interest to some people. - In the main hub of the Complete Saga, the bartender can actually be switched to if the player manages to get behind the invisible wall that surrounds him. If I recall correctly, this also goes for Jabba. - Most of the moving cutscene objects in the game are actually handled as characters in the game's files. This allows for a lot of crazy characters to be inserted into the game by modifying the game files. I've managed to play as baby Luke and Leia, the blanket that Padme gives birth under, and the robot doctors that deliver her babies. - On that same note, the curtain that opens to reveal Jabba in the Jabba's palace cutscene is treated as a character as well. This is why in the normal game, attacking it produces the same sound that a character makes when they're hurt. - In the Complete Saga, there's a completely unused character. It's titled "Sansweet", and appears to be based off ghost Obi-Wan's character data. It appears that at one point, the developers were planning on adding David Sansweet to the game (the man with the largest Star Wars collection). His model doesn't load properly in-game, but can be viewed with a model viewer: i.imgur.com/78GOvpd.png I'm sure there are more interesting developer techniques in this game as well. Grew up with these games and they're still some of my favorites. Great video, Shesez!
I always did suspect they planned to have a LEGO Indiana Jones level considering all the leftover files from it found in the game (these are easy to find in the PC version). Nice to have an official confirmation about it.
they probably did at some point, i would assume it would of been a one off level from raiders of the lost ark similar to how tantive iv was an unlockable level at the end of the first lego star wars
These were the first games I ever played. So many memories. I so miss them and wish I could play them on a modern computer. Complete saga on Steam isn't the same.

Oh my god, this game was my childhood and I actually love this so much! This is honestly awesome to see! I’m super glad the game still holds up and looks awesome today, and you’ve revived a bunch of old memories, and I’d completely forgotten some levels like the Death Star trench run. I’ve gotta play this again so much! *EDIT:* It’s super exciting seeing some bits zoomed out, as I’ve forgotten a lot of stuff from this game and never got to see the levels so clearly.
I’ve used different vehicles on Hoth to temporarily barrier break. I saw a video that mentions what you are talking about. On Falcon Flight, it’s possible to escape the Space Slug without changing scenes. Loopdeloops are helpful.
The Moss Espa Pod Race always seemed to have some secret area that you could go to but could never access. Also, there seems to be a Republic gunship that is a different spaceship than the other, but the game sporadically decides to withhold it from you. Weird stuff.
I love how the developers approached the cutscenes the way many filmmakers would approach creating movie scenes - props and set pieces with clever backgrounds. In this case, it's kinda like making brickfilms digitally.
The only bad thing about Boyndsry Break is that most of the time, the music isn’t from the game that is being covered. But that is a very small nitpick. I live this channel, please keep growing.

I remember finding a ton of other grey cubes using Action Replay MAX, back in the day. Good times. There was one below a segment where there are multiple scripted boulders. Makes so much sense now.
The trick with Jango Fett might actually be a reference to the original Jango Fett mini-figure, where in order to get the visor look, you turned the head around so it only showed the black part. Crazy that it was done in this game too.
The reason why jango phet has the face in the back of the helmet is that in the actual lego sets where jango was I he had his head the exact same way same for the storm troopers
Hey Shesez I love watching and enjoy your videos, but when are you ever going to do more Sequence Break videos? I really enjoyed watching them, but it's been like a year since you last did a new one!

I remember playing the original Lego Stars the Video Game for Xbox and on the kashyyk level with Chewbacca and Yoda there is a random Lego camera piece in the trees that watched you move, you had to stand just in the right place to see it, if you moved too far it would disappear. I’ve never seen anyone else find it
i just played through it like a week or 2 ago, still holds up pretty damn well, got all character except the ghosts, got most of the true jedi meters, didn't bother trying to grind the minikits, played a level or 2 of bounty hunters, i might have to pick up lego indiana jones because i wish i had more !
@@-Teague- Mostly everything remained the same but there are quite a lot of small, minute details that TCS removed which I'm still not fond of to this day. I'd still prefer to play the original over it.
Apologies if this was mentioned earlier, but could the second, "unseen" Vader face be a reference to actor David Prowse? He played Darth in all three movies, but his voice was swapped with James Earl Jones', and when Vader's face is revealed in Episode VI, it's actually actor Sebastian Shaw (hence, the "unseen" face referencing Prowse).
The interesting thing about the swamp creature being just a fin and back piece is that the model the game developers made is basically what the puppet in the movie was too! If you watch the behind the scenes footage for Empire Strikes Back you see it out of the water and that's pretty much exactly what it looks like.
The fact that they turned Jango Fett's head around under the helmet is a nice touch because that's how the real life minifigure of Jango works.

This is the episode i never asked of but have always wanted without knowing
The amount of effort you put into these videos, getting developers to comment etc is amazing. Great work!
I once accidentally boundary broke LEGO star wars, i think it was the level where you get eaten by a giant worm
Oh my god, that happened to me too. I remember being so confused when it happened.
I’ve used different vehicles on Hoth to temporarily barrier break. I saw a video that mentions what you are talking about. On Falcon Flight, it’s possible to escape the Space Slug without changing scenes. Loopdeloops are helpful.
I think I hear my childhood knocking on my door
open it or they will cut it with a lego lightsaber.
God... i played this when i first started in school... nostalgia.
0:14 Han: Stay away from the custom Characters! Don't touch the pillars or you get shot! Anyone else?
The Moss Espa Pod Race always seemed to have some secret area that you could go to but could never access. Also, there seems to be a Republic gunship that is a different spaceship than the other, but the game sporadically decides to withhold it from you. Weird stuff.
2:37
That’s some good meme potential right there
My favorite part was the Metal Gear Solid reference with how almost every game model during this time was textured with a black cube.
*Sees half my childhood in the thumbnail*
Me: HELL YESS!!
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga has the "Crowd Pleaser" achievement
Requirements: Kill Jar Jar Binks 20 times
I remember playing this all the time on the Wii when I was 8... This game is probably one of my favorites
I love how the developers approached the cutscenes the way many filmmakers would approach creating movie scenes - props and set pieces with clever backgrounds. In this case, it's kinda like making brickfilms digitally.
Hey shesez! I really love this series and I'm glad you got Jon in to do this episode!
Shesez do lego Indiana Jones next.
Yes pls!
The only bad thing about Boyndsry Break is that most of the time, the music isn’t from the game that is being covered.
But that is a very small nitpick.
I live this channel, please keep growing.
Probably because it would get a copyright strike
@@bassplayertaylor6983 That seems likely.
Damn you Disney...
Disney copyright claimed Star Wars Theory’s Vader fan film that had an original score composed by a paid professional and played by a professional orchestra because it had a short Imperial March rift at one point lmao
Disney copyright claimed Star Wars Theory’s entire Vader fan film that had an original score composed by a paid professional and played by a professional orchestra because it had a short Imperial March rift at one point lmao
This game was my CHILDHOOD and also the first video game I ever played I think
The Wii version at least
same
The reason why jango phet has the face in the back of the helmet is that in the actual lego sets where jango was I he had his head the exact same way same for the storm troopers
gonjo fat my favoreet startrekking caracter
Hey Shesez I love watching and enjoy your videos, but when are you ever going to do more Sequence Break videos? I really enjoyed watching them, but it's been like a year since you last did a new one!
did you se the paper mario one? that ones fairly recent!
@@BoundaryBreak Yeah I saw the paper mario one and I really enjoyed that one!
But there hasn't been a new sequence break yet in over 6 months since then. I realize that your doing your very best and that it isn't easy to make any of your videos, but when will you or can we expect more videos of the sequence break series as well?
@@BoundaryBreak still waitin for Dead Space
Shesez 6 months is recent on this channel? Oof, giving JonTron a run for his money haha (still staying newly subbed; I’m just teasing)
Yes thank you so much I've been waiting for this I was searching last week and couldnt find one and then all of sudden youre posting one YES!
I just 100% this a couple days ago
I remember playing the original Lego Stars the Video Game for Xbox and on the kashyyk level with Chewbacca and Yoda there is a random Lego camera piece in the trees that watched you move, you had to stand just in the right place to see it, if you moved too far it would disappear. I’ve never seen anyone else find it
Dude I was just playing this game like 2 days ago. Are you watching me?!
That one dislike is jabba the hut, he doesn't like that you showed them 3 gamoreans lol 😂
The complete saga was the best of childhood games
i just played through it like a week or 2 ago, still holds up pretty damn well, got all character except the ghosts, got most of the true jedi meters, didn't bother trying to grind the minikits, played a level or 2 of bounty hunters, i might have to pick up lego indiana jones because i wish i had more !
Lego LoTR was my and Wii Sports Resrot
Nah, I grew up with 1st lego star wars. That shit was amazing.
@@ugiustuskeiserus8066 the complete saga is a remaster of that plus the original trilogy game and bonus content
@@-Teague-
Mostly everything remained the same but there are quite a lot of small, minute details that TCS removed which I'm still not fond of to this day. I'd still prefer to play the original over it.
2:10 this is especially awesome because it's the exact same way the physical lego version of Jango Fett worked
Man! This game was my childhood!
Thanks for making a video of this game!
a suprise to be sure but a welcome one.
Wow! I guess I was not the only one who played these games on the GameCube and on top of that I also played the complete saga on the Wii!
0:06 literally the sassiest pose alive
i loved this game as a child. ah memories, well time to replay it
Apologies if this was mentioned earlier, but could the second, "unseen" Vader face be a reference to actor David Prowse? He played Darth in all three movies, but his voice was swapped with James Earl Jones', and when Vader's face is revealed in Episode VI, it's actually actor Sebastian Shaw (hence, the "unseen" face referencing Prowse).
Sometimes you got to lego boundaries!
boooo
@@funcamp_ltd. no boi YEAHHHHHHHHH
2:08 They actually do that with real Minifigures.
no... really?
0:15 does nobody care about that door
The interesting thing about the swamp creature being just a fin and back piece is that the model the game developers made is basically what the puppet in the movie was too! If you watch the behind the scenes footage for Empire Strikes Back you see it out of the water and that's pretty much exactly what it looks like.
I never watched star wars but I played this as a kid I loved it
