Hey Kevin, I was wondering if you knew where/how I could get a hold of some dragon fruit pollen. I got a bunch of cuttings from a friend a couple of years ago and this past year I watched flower after flower drop because I didn’t realize they weren’t self-pollinating varieties. I would like to avoid that next season and pollinate them myself. But, I have no clue where I can get some pollen. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

My dragonfruit looked like it was still growing a bit through the winter we just had. As soon as the first warm sunny day hit it basically exploded with growth! I'm hoping it flowers this season. These plants are quite amazing. Thanks for the video 👍

7:37 I have a huge 3 foot pineapple in a 24" wide pot that I've been keeping for a while, and there's no way you can move it without wheels and help. (Especially because you'll poke your eye or ear out) I just brought it in and it took about 20 minutes to get it down a few steps and near a south window. Definitely have a plan and a second pair of hands for guaranteed success when moving large pots with large pokey plants.

Would love to hear your opinion on using metal halide or high pressure sodium lighting 1kw on a track over 3 or 4 trellises on a 14-16 hr light on schedule?? Atm I’m growing from good older cuttings. I planning to try in the green house, I may have to move inside if I can’t keep the heat up outside. I’m looking to keep them growing happy until March when I can get them back into the green house and possibly supplement with sum lighting.

My question: Why not build a shorter trellis top to capture some of the shorter offshoots? Do they have to reach a certain height before dipping down to fruit? If not, it seems like you could maximize fruit production by having a second box for those less ideal shoots to drape over, a little lower on the trellis. I'm sure there's a reason for not doing it, but I don't have experience with dragon fruit yet.
