Hi Dear Lesley. Usually polite tubers who always greet the viewer - say "welcome...", "hi everyone!", or at least "hi!". Why am I paying attention to it? Because nowadays there are more and more people who don't say hello at all - or who have just stopped saying hello! It is not entirely surprising, because the world's best and most reliable prophecy book, the Bible, tells important things in advance. It mentions about the last days:

Years ago I was watching one of our pairs and they brought the babies to the feeder. One of the babies got on the purch at the feeder. He or she didn't quite know how to hold on to the purch. The baby turned upside down still holding onto the purch and didn't know what to do. Mom and dad definitely had this problem before with their children. So they just fed the baby with seed as it was hanging upside down on the purch. It was so adorable. 💗💗💗
@lindasiroskey326 That must had been real exciting / educational to watch the baby bird growing up !! Very precious experience. Right now my sister's second apartment where mom stays at often & teach green tea ceremony to her students ,a cute grey cat started showing up as there is a bird nest we didn't know right next to her building !! The cat got the baby in her mouth the other day while her/ his parents attacking the cat to let their baby go free ,my sis & her dog also tried ,she tapped the cat's head w/ her cellphone & the cat let the baby bird go !! Ever since she & our neighbours have been witnessing the parents feeding the baby ( there were two before I was told ,not sure what had happened to the other one !! ) & also the baby has been practicing to fly !! She was found on the ground once as she fell ,too ! My sister put her in a birdhouse there & it's on a long stick ( not sure what to call it ,lol ) & it's way too thin for the cat to climb on ! But,I just saw the cat right by her place ,again last night . A very friendly cat ,but she ( he ? ) is definitely after the baby bird ! If you know any safe/ not harmful solution that works ,please let me know !! 🙏👍👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞

Oh my!! That is the cutest thing!! What interesting behavior! I ended up putting a piece of white paper over the window in my nesting box because many of the visitors would fly at it and seemed very confused by it!

So funny and I have a theory on this! Towards the end when Inky was blocking the exit Philbert flew up to the exit with some chips in his mouth and she actually pulled the chips out of his beak. Maybe she prefers to be the one doing the chip maintenance!

This is so adorable, I hope that Inky and Philbert have a successful little family together.

Imagine the scene, she stands by the door blocking the exit then she says:
Inky: Phil would you look at this? Is so weird, i think is observing us.
Philbert: Come on hon' move, i need to finish this, let me out.
Inky tries to convince Philbert that the unnatural looking alien device is observing their every move inside the house to no avail. Philbert eventually convinces her there is nothing to be worry about, she believes him, but some lingering doubts remain in her mind.
It’s very simple… She says “you’re doing it wrong” husband sighs.

In my research, I've witnessed this behavior in humans too. It's called Pay Day. She wants the checkbook to go to market. He wants to have a few beers with his mates.
Ultimately, she wins and he cleans the apartment.
And That friends is the natural order of things :)

I try to interpret animals quite often because I also interact with quite a few of them myself. Inky may be thinking that she wants the wood chips to stay there. She may think that enough wood chips have been removed and she doesn't want any more taken away and that she likes the way things are now. Or she may think that Philbert may not know when to stop so therefore she feels insecure about how far he will go, so she wants to apply the brakes now. Animals are often more logical than humans. By the way, you won't believe who sang the whisper song to me. Thought I should tell you because you are the one that taught me about the whisper song.

I have seen something like this on another nest cam but birds were Kestrels. Male brought female a worm. Female blocked the entrance and preceded to make alot of noise, as if she was scolding him for bringing her a small meal with babies on the way..lol
