I seriously love everything you make. I watch and think oh wow, I love that, and then end up saying that your whole video. Thanks for always being so generous with your time and talent.
Loved your video and could have spent another hour with you just picking up tips and examples, such an inspirations - thank you Cori, you are very much appreciated 🥰🥰
Your clusters are phenomenal!! Clusters are my favorite thing to make, so these are inspiring. Not that I expect to attain that level, but seeing yours makes me want to step up my game! Thank you for sharing all these tips and explaining some of your processes.
Thank you and I agree; clusters are a whole lot of fun to make! I love the idea of taking bits of little things and making it something entirely its own. Have fun with whatever you decide to create 😊
This was a very interesting and in-depth video. Thank you for sharing your experience. Gayle A. Often mentions go see what Cori Dahmen has done. I too offer Tina my support. No one should be so burdened. She is a talented artist.
Thank you for a delightful & informative video! I can tell you’re a teacher, you’re so calm & clear in your instruction, it’s very nice to listen to you! I’ve never seen such a great comparison on coloring & embossing a flower! I don’t know how you create so many beautiful tags, ephemera & journals AND teach young children full time! Do you have time to sleep?! It’s amazing how the news about Tina has spread & there must be around ten or fifteen new videos today! It’s just so wonderful that so many of you with channels are taking the time & creating with her digis, even if your style is different from hers! I’ve really never seen something so heartwarming & I just want you to know how grateful I am to see the love & support for Tina! You are truly blessed! Erica❤
Absolutely, awesome video, Cori! You’re a production marvel! 🥰 Those bins contain so many beautiful, creative items! The summer months ahead for you sound like they’re full of activities that will be fun, enjoyable and hopefully, provide some rest and relaxation time, too. My best wishes go with you! Love and big hugs! 😀💞
I love everyone with huge subbies supporting Tina. I just did and got some digis too this is a great community Corey. That you for this video. Thanks for always sharing. ❤❤❤
I am in the uk and have bought dies from Susan several times they are just wonderful and Susan is a super lovely lady. I only found your channel a couple of months ago and I adore your videos i recently made a mini journal following one of your older videos with the Tim holtz small squares and had so much fun I’m currently doing your flips flaps and folds in a journal I made. I just wanted to thank you so much for sharing so much with us I get a huge amount of inspiration from you. I really hope you enjoy your trip and have a relaxing wonderful time
Great informative video today. Thank you for showing and explaining the different die cut finishes. I enjoyed the card front ideas. Enjoy your vacation.
“Not anything spectacular “ She says!!!!🤭🤭🤭 Ummmm… So here’s the challenge… let’s see what you consider …”spectacular “….🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️ I just love your journals!!! Makes me smile … makes my day!! 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽Thanks for another great video!! I so enjoyed my coffee with Cori time!!!! Looking forward to more summertime fun. Enjoy your time in Minnesota 🎉 soak up all the loving energy!!! Blessings! 🥰🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘💐
For anyone looking for these types of detailed die cuts, 49 and Market has a product called laser cut outs. Each release offers different selections and can include florals, foliage, mushrooms, butterflies, etc. Depending on where you purchase, the cost is reasonable for how many you get. In addition to Tim Holtz, 49 and Market is another ongoing obsession/addiction. Sorry in advance:). After watching to the end, I had to add that your creations are all spectacular. I’m so glad you shared them because they really are so inspiring!!
OMG ❤ What an awesomely video (as always)! The way you create and re-create just one tiny piece into something else is simply a beautiful piece of art. And each one of those miny journals are unique and wonderful with lots and lots of space for journaling ❤I love them all❤. Thank you for always giving us a great opportunity to learn and share what we learn. You're so far one of my favorite journalists teachers! May the God of all goodness keep his blessings upon you!
What a great video, Cori! Thank you so much. A little tip for you and everyone - I have also used Tim Holtz's Distress Embossing Powder in Antique Linen. I do have the Seth Apter Vintage Beeswax Embossing Powder and I love it. However, it is hard for me to find and I wanted to find an alternative (because I hoard my Seth Apter powder) that was easier to find. I fin that the difference is that the Antique Linen embossing power is a little more "yellow"; it still give that same kind of "antiqued" look. I'd love to know what you think of this. Have a wonderful crafty day! Thank you again. Hugs.
You share so much of your talent by answering our questions, Cori. It takes a fair amount of energy and time doing so. So, enjoy the break by relaxing in Minnesota and we’ll see you when you return, giving us more inspiration. Thanks a lot, Cori.
I got that plate at a yard sale, years ago. It had a note written in a very old hand on it. “My pappy’s dinner plate in the gold rush”. I don’t know if it was the California Gold Rush, the Yukon or something else. But I love and treasure the tin plate ❤
Thanks so much for the Seth Apter start to finish process. You showed the very next day after I asked! So very kind of you. And thanks for letting us know about Shabby Dabby Doda. I had a similar experience 25 years ago. It leaves a scar, but time and prayer have been things that helped me through it. You're such a great teacher. I'm sure your students adore you.
My hope is always to encourage and support people in their efforts to create things that make them happy. It can be so frustrating to see something you like, but not be able to create it. Thank you ❤
THANKS for the inspiration! I'm trying some of these ideas today for a swap I'm in! I appreciate all the ideas and so fun trying new things! Not sure where your daughter lives but if close to St. Cloud and you no doubt already know...but hope you can get some time to visit Crafts Direct in St. Cloud/Waite Park area. Plan LOTS of time if you go! Ask me how I know! I'm from central MN originally and my daughter lives in Crystal, MN too! Happy travels!
I go through streaks where all I want to do is sit and create. But I sorted those done pieces into their spaces this morning. I definitely need to put some pieces into journals 🤣
Lovely work, I especially liked the quotes mini journal for its unique binding and simplicity. I never know what youre suppose to put into those teeny tiny mini hidden pockets even though they are fun to make. I also appreciate that your clusters are mini works of art rather than just pieces of scraps thrown together. Every item you make, it seems to me, is well thought out as to color, and composition.
Cori...so so inspiring...wonder how many hours of work you put into these...an amazing collection of ideas...this video is worth watching time and time again. Would love it if you could a share how ro make the tag mini album/journal.

I can't find the Seth Apter Vintage Beeswax Embossing Powder. Do you have any suggestions? I love the little die cut machine. I have several large ones that rarely get used but I think a little one that I could keep on my desk would be used often
I use my Sidekick about 90% of the time. It’s usually with embossing folders that I pull out the bigger machine. I get my embossing powder at SethApter.com, though it is not always in stock.
Oh Cori, I thought I was the only one who can blow embossing powder all over! Also where do you get the trays you had your tags in, ( and what are they called)? They look metal.
LOL. You are definitely not alone with that skill! The tins are enamelware baking pans and they are all vintage... or just plain old 😊 I find them at antique malls, Ebay and vintage auctions and estate sales.

Ugh. Laurel, I just wish I remembered! I went back through my videos to see if I could find it. I used all the bits and don't remember which company that is. I promise to tell you when I figure it out!
how do you get lace on your project without sewing please? I want to do this with my parcel tags but I can't sew a straight line if you paid me! I even bought one of those hand stitchers and I still can't sew a straight line!
@@CoriDahmen LOL I was traumatized at ten when we had to take a sewing class. From that day forward I have never been able to have anything to do with sewing. Stupid I know, but that impacted my life so severely, it seemed to have ingrained itself in my psyche. Thanks for the glue tip, that should solve my problem of making my tags and cards pop. I'm new to this by the way, so all tips are very much appreciated. Both my sisters can craft anything, sew anything, not me. My sister-in-law is the same, it was her idea to get me on the road to try it, you'll like it train. lol
I love when you show all of your makes.
I love this community! It’s more than just watching a video. It’s getting to know a creator and being inspired ❣️❣️❣️
