Awwww Gaye. Thank you, my sweet friend. I have a small treat I've been meaning to send to you. But darn it, I'd really much rather deliver it in person 💕
Oh so many ideas! I WILL be finding out my velcro dots, my d rings and I think we will all 'want' a mitre trimmer! Lets see who picks that idea up first :-D. LOVED this video x
And I LOVE you! Thank you Tracie and I think there needs to be a Tim Hotline... along the lines of the bat phone. That way when we have a stellar idea we can use his bat phone to share it!
Well my friend, you’ve done it again! Always coming up with amazing ideas that we can all use and adapt to our own journals. Thank you so much for sharing your fabulousness. Xx
Your craft room is perfect! I love everything about it! My space is pure chaos but I hope , one day, to have a small homestead with an actual craft room or maybe a she shed. My daughter's are both grown but still at home (19 and 22) and I wouldnt have it any other way. The world is in such chaos now that I like having them close. I live in a 2 bedroom townhouse apartment so my girls are still sleeping in bunk beds. I'm try to treasure every moment that I still have them in my home because soon enough some man will whisk them away and next thing you know I'll have grand babies. So, until then, in my kitchen I will sit crafting. Thanks for the video Cori!
I love hearing that you are embracing the now, with all its delights, imperfections, challenges and love. You'll have an amazing crafting space one day, and it will be worth every minute of the wait ❤️
SO very glad you're joining in. I know some are "really, Cori?" but I love having ideas, even simple ones, at my finger tips for when I get stuck and don't know what to include next. Options. That's it. I'm an options girl 😁
I don’t junk journal or art journal (just make mail art postcards to send to friends), so why am I watching, liking and saving all these fab junk journal videos!? This one was especially tantalizing to me. I may end up art journaling yet. 😂
WOW! Sweet Cori another wicked awesome tutorial! I've been pausing it a lot cos I don't want it to end! Lots of crafty-goodness!! Appreciate the steps and process!! Hope you are doing well!! Hugs!
Awesome video! Thank you so very much! I’ve been looking for just this info. Don’t shorten the videos. I love getting the whole story. ..the how tos. Blessings!
Ty for some great new ideas! I've been going down a brand new "CRAFT" path, if you will. First path I went down some 20 years ago was scrapbooking using 12x12 cardstock. Then for the next ,15 years I've been making cards. None to sell, just for my family & friends. So, I've said all of that to say this, I am now sticking my toes into making an art journal! I love this!! Wow!! So now I'm gathering as much info as I can, & u my dear are at the top of my list of "favorite" artists! Thanks for spending so much time in making these tutorials! Hugs😊
I just made my first one with so many of Tracie's Paperclips, I love being able to see them all when I need one,. Your books are very inspiring, I wish I had time to make them all.
I've had D rings in my Amazon cart for a while for things like that so it's a sign I NEED 100 D rings right now. LOL! I love that wrap-around and the off-set tuxedo pocket (I like things less precise/perfect and a bit wonky at times, so that's perfect for me).
You really are inspiring me to make my first journal, you are so creative. The coin envelope is a cutie. Thank you so much for making videos and sharing your God given talent, you are fabulous 😍
You can do it!!!! Thank you for your kindness, but really. Just give it a go. I still say I learn something new (usually it’s what NOT to do the next time!) with every journal. So, it’s kind of a first journal each time 😊
Cori, another fabulous video (and definitely not too long). Your ideas and your examples are so inspiring. Always my favorites. Any chance you might sometime in the future put together a Cori retreat …such as “make a samples book with Cori”. I’d fly across the country to attend and I know I’m not the only one. Your ideas are just the greatest as is your teaching style. Hope you’re feeling much better.
Thank you Karen and I’ve pondered organizing a retreat for a while now. Because of working it would have to be scheduled for the summer. So, I’ll definitely think on it for next year ❤
This was terrific, Cori, thanks so much! It was a challenge getting screenshots because of your speed, but…challenge accepted, challenge met! I don’t have time to make each one for an idea book, so I crop the screenshots, step by step, and each project gets it’s own set of photos so I remember how you did them. Then when I’m ready to plan a journal, I flip through my idea book and write down the page #s of the ones I want to use for that journal, and make them as I go. This was great!
What a great strategy! I generally pop a video into my “favorites” group so I can return to it when I have time to create… then I forget that I did that 🤣
@@CoriDahmen yep I tried that, but then I’d spend more time watching through the whole video because they are so good, then the squirreling starts, and before I knew it I’d be waaay of track and well, you know…😂😂😂
Hi Cori, thanks for all that you do. Is the journal made out of Tracy’s digitals? I love the paper. Also, the paper you are using in your demonstration is that Tracy’s as well? I tried to find it in her Etsy shop but couldn’t . Love all your crafts. Happy New Year!
I am in love with your ideas Cori! Great explanation too! Do you happen to have a link to those flowers on Amazon that you use? Hugs and hope you are feeling well!🥰

🙋🏼♀️Hi Cori Delighted to see you here showing your little ephemera Just a question you said your pages are a little heavier in weight, do you use filefolders? Its hard to lnow since in Australia our weights are in gsm, as i trust you would know, not lbs 🤔 Thanks Cori Ill be making some of these today ♥️🇬🇸🌺
Oops forgot to mention there are no Tim Holtz papers to buy anymore. Is there something similar available these days as Tim wont be making anymore 12 x12s what is he or anyone replacing it with
Most of the paper I use is heavier/sturdier. The papers by 49 and Market and Stamperia are a comparable weight. I enjoy adding items to each page, so more standard copy-weight paper just isn’t sturdy enough for my needs. You’ve the Kaiser Kraft papers in AU that I believe are similar. Maybe 😊
@@CoriDahmen the Tim Holtz papers are quite thick I do have 1 12x12 pack from years ago Kaiser if its double sided is quite good but those are not available in double sided only a few of them like a set of 5 papers in a pack🤔so hard to get something as good as TH s Graphic45 are similar weight I have 8 of the 8x8s and i do have some Stamperia thats gorgeous So I will print some of Tracies compendium on 200 gsm thats quite a good weight that will work hopefully As for making an actual journal 🤔i dont like them to be busy backgrounds 🤔ill think more about it Thanks Cori
Do you use an inkjet or laser printer for printables? Most of the time inkjet is fine, but for collage I find it can smear/bleed with collage medium on the top 😅 I have a business so I finally have both 🤪, but I was curious what you do.
Also… just discovered you a couple of weeks ago, but I’ve been on vacation and I couldn’t begin to tell you how many I have watched. 😂 So much fun! My first ever die cut machine is waiting for me at home and boy do I have ideas now 😁 😂
