A question which has gained popularity now days. See , there's no definite answer as which is better than the other. What's important, is you incorporate both in your bodybuilding program. Both have their pros and cons. Machines usually provide more stability during exercises, as a result of which we may perceive that we are able to lift more on machines compared to free weights. Also machines don't result in muscle imbalances, which may be caused by free weights. However there's no denying that free weights aren't good either. They are exceptional in building grip strength. Some people also perform better on free weights rather on machines and vice versa. Always remember, a good program is one which mixes both and doesn't leave one behind.

Gaurav Sir...Beginners believe biceps and triceps are the only muscles they should train as these are mirror muscles....Even in my gym I see everyday they keep on training arms daily....They are not at all focusing on legs and other muscle groups

No. 1 mistake is following bro split rather than full body/upper lower or any other split to practice the movements 2-4 times a week
