Right now, people are doing things in a yes or no situation in a society where the young and inept are entering a interconnected world unprepared, arrogant of themselves, ignorant of others, with little guidance where too many of people of a predatory nature are allowed into a situation where they can take advantage, little to dissuade them to not, and this all leads to bad decisions from everyone. Verified employer? What a joke? we should trust tghe people, not corpos.
@@wolfetteplays8894 Trust neither people, nor corpos, and question government and officials' intentions with quiet disdain. Better to keep your guard up and suffer short term difficulties in finding worthy people and institutions than have constant betrayal whittle away at your humanity until you're a worthless husk lost in the shadow of society from subsequent collapse. The level of trust you hesitantly afford to others should be operated on a gradient scale, not a yes or no especially if under some type of stress or duress. This needs to change and it's being pushed back but slowly.
It should be a recurring part of the regular IT curriculum at schools, encouraged at home, and encouraged by the state (within reason, of course... think PSA, not more rules and regs that weren't fit for purpose or even workable five years prior, and campaigns shouldn't cost the taxpayer more than the taxpayer loses to scams on average).
Thing is, too many parents are both too inept and too irresponsible to cover the "encouragement at home", and the gov't is consistently less competent around anything IT than my grandparents, whom are old enough to have lived through the Blitz.

It makes sense from their perspective because they believe in a human-made utopia. I think the person in the replies is probably a good one who doesn’t know yet how awful life can really get.
