I have the Dinan exhuast on mine and it's loud as heck with pops and cracks but you have to be in Sport Plus.

How would you say it compares to an M4 competition?
m cars are on a diffrent league, if you want performance get an M car, those cars with just a simple tune and nothing else could add 100 wheel hp comfrotably, basically u can download an already made tune for it and with few clicks your car be putting 100hp more with nothing else. m3 m4 m5 all of them, m cars are made to handle power and extreeme performance, 550i isnt built for that.

M badges are basically thrown everywhere. This m550 can also make 100hp with just a tune and DPS. Almost anything with freaking turbos can make high amounts of hp gains cause they just up the boost. Lol

its 2021 you have to have AWD and make selectable for RWD too but you have to have AWD

Jason not true at all brother. I love my m550i. I would suggest springs and sway bars for less body role and stiffness. Overall a little suspension tlc and a tune and your at a M5 performance and it only cost 1500 to do it.
If you cannot afford the F90 or 2018 BMW M5.....
You can simply buy a BMW 520d, 530d or 540i & turn it into a BMW M5 looking car.
You'll need to:
(1)Buy a BMW M5 bonnet with sporty crises & remove the 5 series bonnet & put the new M5 bonnet.
(2)Buy the M5 sporty bumper & install it to your 5 series.
(3)Buy new M5 grills & install them into your 5 series.
(4)Buy new M5 headlights and install them to your 5 series
(5) Buy New M5 mirrors & rims.....& install it to your 5 series
(6)Buy a rear diffuser
& you're good to go....this can cost you less than $3500
& a pre owned 5 series costs $30 000 whereas the BMW M5 F90 costs +$85 000.......by Buying and tuning the 5 series into an M5, you will definitely save more than 55% of what you might have spent buying a new M5.
