A few corrections:
- The 530i doesn't have 230hp, it has 248hp.
- The M550i does not in fact have larger front side air dams. They're the same size as the regular M Sport bumper, but don't have fog lights.
- The M550i in the US does not get the M logos on the front fenders, only in Europe and a few other markets.
- "S1" does not stand for Dinan Stage 1, it refers to Dinan's S1 Signature Package.
all i know about dinan is their 5.8L E60 V10 with 750bhp and purple exhaust headers
Oscar Thorpe 5.8L stoker DINAN was indeed epic. But it was “only” 630BHP. Come on, now.
Tim Tursonoff just the motor he is speaking not with axles or anything just str88 motor and headers..its going to put out more power

Parker you have to wait a couple seconds when it is floored and then a checkered flag comes onto the middle screen then release the brake. Thats how the launch control works on mine... (as outlined in the owners manual)

The Honda prelude has had rear wheel steering since 1988! Worked really well too
I have this car with almost all the options. Perfect daily driver comfortable or aggressive when you need to be. I might need to get it tuned

Actually it is. Depends on your personal likes. The M5 beats you up in the city. This car is smooth as butter. The M5 is a track purposed machine, this has the same power and you can still go out to eat with the family

parker is in love with bmw and ferrari, bcuz he have lambo and merc he doesnt admit it. but always when he speaks about bmw and a ferrari u can feel the love and exitment more than lambo and merc :)
Most interesting. I 'd definately go for the upgraded
interior , like the layout inside unfussy and seems
ergonomic . The exterior you can see influences from other manufacturers
but you can still tell its a BMW at a glance.
Wish they hadn't put the badge on the wing it shortens the front
of the car. I wish companys wouldn't do that put the extra badges at the front and back of the car

Parker if you could go into a little more detail
on comfort modes as in the U.K. we have a fair share of roads that
will need that mode. For intances how does the car cope with minor put holes
the noise produced etc..

Bmw already had active read wheel steering (AHK) on the 1989-1999 e31 8 series
My 2016 Superchips Bluefin stage 1 M235i is as fast as an stock M2. Stage 1 tunnings are just phenomenal.
I would like to see another 0-60 measurement at sea level. The 3.5 seconds to 60 you did on that elevation will certainly be faster at sea level.

Parker, without even researching anything, Im going to say that the 1987-1991 prelude offered 4WS, as well as the Mitsubishi Galant VR4, and lets not forget the Twin Turbo 300ZX with Nissans Super HIcas, which was also in some of the Skylines and Sylvias of the time. And dood... haircut.
BMW impresses me. I love my 2014 535i but it might be time for a upgrade, maybe this 😜

@@dahero6216 there quick, look at my videos. I had a 2013 535i full bolt on stage 2 thing was a rocket ship. Just traded it in for. 2022 M550i which obviously blows the 535i away bone stock
The 8 speed zf auto transmission from the m550 is also in the bentaga and Aston Martin?
its in alot of cars, from lambos, to ferraris, to bmw m models, every car that really has performance uses zf or something from a manufacturer.

13:51 This car has the comfort seats. This means, that there‘s a little button on the side, that lets you change these side things to get way more support. Seems like these are just in absolute comfort mode.

I have a 03 e39 M5. I'm going to look and test drive aM550I in the morning. My 03 has 565 hp after upgrades. I'll buy the M550 if I'm empressed

Dude, you're so young...the Honda Prelude in 1998 had rear wheel steering, as did a fair few other "normal" cars. I think some Porsche's had it in the 80's as well.

rear wheel steering ... 1990 Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4 all wheel driving, all wheel steering, biturbo v6 engine, active aero FRONT and rear spoiler. Just instance active aero front spoiler arrives to Porsche 911 turbo s in 2017 ... any question?

4 wheel steering was standard in a Renault Laguna GT that costs €40.000 about 10 years ago.....
Mitsubishi Galant VR4 and GTi Dynamic4 as well as Honda Prelude and BMW 850CSi had AWS back in 1990 :)
Just saying, Dynamic AWS is nothing new... just more enhanced... and it functioned exactly as you described back then ;)

you know that late 90's honda prelude had rear wheel steering right? and many other cars early 2000 as well. so its not exactly new nor it was an expensive feature in the past, it was just unrefined feature which lot of manufactures back in the day did not consider spending time implementing, and its now and recently rear wheel steering started to become popular.
