    LDL 275, HDL 74( just under the triad #s), Tri 67. I've had a particle test and I'm a pattern A. I'm not lean overall, but I am pear shaped. I've been variations of strict keto and low carb for most of the last 5 years. 2 years ago I had a CAC score of zero.

    Is Dr. Saladino a LMHR? I wonder if this mainly happens to people who simply don’t have “adequate” fat stores. Maybe he’s right that he needs the carbs. I heard on another discussion on this topic that 100g of carbs reduces the LDL quickly.

    So if you are LMHR never ever exercise and stay far away from gyms?

    My last lipids test in mmol: cholesterol 9.4/ldl 5.9/hdl 2.87/non hdl 6.17/ tg 0.58 . Am i LMHR?

    I'm not lean enough to be LMHR, but my LDL is "elevated". But there's no way I'm ever going to go back on a statin. No way.

      I heard one of them say they wish they had called it something else. The only parameters are the cholesterol numbers, they've pretty much taken the lean mass part out.

      @@SamShank175 Yes, and my numbers don't qualify me. Though I wonder if I were more lean and more athletic if I would be.

    Isn't the whole saturated fats - LDL -thing more or less disproven by : ua-cam.com/video/-xCr3mvFCHM/v-deo.html ?

      If your LDL is 5 or 6 hundred and your HDL is under a 100 you're way outside anything currently disproven, hence the concerns.

      @@TomSmith-cv8hk I should have used "link" instead of "thing", as my point had nothing to do with the absolute plasma amount of LDL, but only the effect saturated fat has on it
