Does topical Dutasteride 0.025% or 0.05% go systemically by a large degree? I am getting mixed answers and It's annoying. I want to save my hair but would rather do it in a safer way rather than hoping on a high dose of finasteride orally

It wouldn't be the ego talking, it would be the lack of ego functionality that would yield the individual to seek validation from the external environment. Thereby having an externalized locus of control, attention seeking behaviors, disturbed identity, alloplastic defenses - all fundamental features of mental illness 🙂‍↔️

What iron saturation is ideal for athletic and mental performance? My saturation was at 15 percent, I started taking 2x the recommended amount of elemental iron and it made no difference in how I felt or my blood work. Then I started throne iron bisglycinate 4 capsules a day, and within a day or two noticed improvements in my anxiety and energy. A few weeks later my iron sat. had doubled to 29, and I am still experiencing the mental health benefits as well as improvements in athletic performance.

Testicular reserve refers to the capacity of the testes to produce sperm and male sex hormones, primarily testosterone. This concept encompasses both the quantity and quality of sperm production as well as the functional health of the testicular tissue. Testicular reserve is an important factor in male fertility and can be influenced by various factors, including age, health conditions, lifestyle, and environmental exposures. ### Components of Testicular Reserve 1. **Spermatogenesis**: The process of sperm production within the seminiferous tubules of the testes. 2. **Hormonal Function**: The ability of the testes to produce hormones, especially testosterone, which is critical for male reproductive health and secondary sexual characteristics. 3. **Germ Cell Numbers**: The quantity of sperm-producing cells present in the testes. ### Factors Affecting Testicular Reserve - **Age**: As men age, testicular function can decline, leading to reduced sperm production and quality. - **Health Conditions**: Conditions such as varicocele, infections, and hormonal imbalances can negatively impact testicular reserve. - **Lifestyle**: Factors like smoking, alcohol consumption, drug use, and exposure to environmental toxins can impair testicular function. - **Genetics**: Certain genetic conditions and mutations can affect spermatogenesis and hormone production. ### Assessment of Testicular Reserve Medical evaluation of testicular reserve typically involves: - **Semen Analysis**: To assess sperm count, motility, and morphology. - **Hormonal Testing**: Measuring levels of testosterone, follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), and luteinizing hormone (LH). - **Ultrasound**: To evaluate the structure and volume of the testes. ### Clinical Importance Understanding and assessing testicular reserve is crucial in the context of male infertility treatment and reproductive planning. It helps in diagnosing underlying issues and guiding appropriate interventions. For more detailed information, you can refer to medical sources such as [Healthline](www.healthline.com) or [WebMD](www.webmd.com).

If after using both oral Dutasteride, oral Minoxidil, and Keto shampoo for over a year (without sides) but is still losing alot of hair and miniaturization, both visibly and under microscope, how does one know if they should 1.) increase dose of Dut, 2.) add a topical anti-androgen such as Pyralutamide, or 3.) or a form of Estradiol? In watching some of your videos, there are various terms that I don't understand such as 1.) high or low androgen activity in scalp, 2.) aromatase, 3.) whether increase in scalp testosterone could be an issue for a small group of individuals, etc.. I'd like to do something in addition to what I'm doing now but don't want to exacerbate the situation. Any input is appreciated.

Sorry Kyle, it's actually more common in personality disordered people to like pets more than in the gen pop. Remember that owning pets fits many criteria for various mental illnesses and cognitive distortions associated with them (ie buttresses sense of grandiosity, full control, they have no agency, complete dependency, ownership - they are technically considered property). I believe there are studies by Hare (if I'm not mistaken) about psychopaths and their dogs. This is not to say that all pet lovers have a personality disorder, but many do and it's more common in that population than in the general population. Personally I think the tell is when they like the pets as much as humans or more than/over humans. It's not healthy to like another species over your own. That's kind of the bottom line. We are relational beings within societies and communities within our own species. I find pet ownership to be higher amongst mentally ill people especially the Cluster B. Most schizoids too. Never known one that didn't have a pet. It's the love for another species that is just a foreign concept. No other animal does it. Especially carnivorous beings. I find it occurring highly in other neurodivergent communities as well.

Unfortunately, Gillett Health is not on the point for "the too much exercise" section, you two get a D- grade. I would consider making a separate video for this because it is an important section to discuss. The risks associated with excessive exercise have less to do with the distance of running, cycling, or swimming than with the *intensity* and duration of the training. Nassim Nicholas Taleb made a bunch of tweets on this topic. A CrossFit/Hyrox (4 hours/week) athlete may be at a significantly higher risk than an endurance athlete who performs 10+ hours of cardio each week. Taleb has also covered training hours and longevity more rigorously than Peter Attia.

Wow. This is so crazy! It's hard to imagine someone complaining about too much testing. Personally if i was rich i would be testing like Bryan J. Personally, im not rich, but we only have 1 life. I want to know as much as I can and do something, (or not) to optimize my life as much as I can. Example being I'm, post menopausal, doing crossfit, very healthy in many ways, but I also have very rare issues. My doc retired and definitely experimented testosterone on me. No real hormone testing, hence it didn't go well. Where can I get more testing outside of the "usual" metabolic general tests????.. Obviously I'm willing to pay, but not just any place. Please, any suggestions. Please 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
