Thank you! That was kind of the whole idea behind building the truck! I still have less than 10k it…and it’s paid off! Thanks for watching! I’ll have another video out soon! Been driving it a lot lately.
I like them! Very strait forward install. Just note, that if your truck is not a dually, then these spindles will not work with factory wheels (unless you use wheel spacers)…There’s a little bit of a gray area on the ad. But they work flawlessly… although it did make me realize that my leaf spring bushings are shot… squats about an inch. It never ends. But I love every minute of it!
Do you need different control arms or can you use the original? I'm trying to do this to my 2000 Chevy c2500 2wd and wondering if I need special stuff.
Have you had any alignment issues with yours I guess I’m having problems with mine did this same thing won’t full lock when turning and pushes steer tires out from underneath it and skips and it eats my tires up so I’m about to ad 3 inch lift blocks in the rear to see if that helps get back with me please cause I’m trying to solve my issue
Did you remove the steering stops from the lower control arm? I know that when I did the lift, it had the brake calipers hitting the steering stop before I could get full lock, all I did was cut them off and it’s been perfect.
Did you have to modify the dust shield? I’m currently doing this is install on my 92 c3500 Thanks in advance. I’m currently on a hold until this is resolved
Man I honestly cannot remember… but I feel like I did have to modify it in some way. Ahhh it just hit me. I think that I removed the wheel sensor and ditched the shield maybe 🤔
Just came across this I have a93 chevy dually 2wd with 22.5 on it been looking for a lift for do you have part number for the drop pit man arm thank you for this
So with it being a dually, did you have to use a spacer in the front? Or does the dually hub push it out far enough you can run stock wheels? I have a plan in mind for a square body
On these particular spindles it specifically says that you can run the stock wheels. On the single wheel applications it says that you have to have spacers to run the stock wheels. That’s just the kit I bought tho, can’t say for all of them!
Does it have camber in the front? I did a level kit with the hockey puck looking things and my control arms are almost touching the frame and I want to switch it up
Mine does not camber at all… the spindle lift doesn’t affect the suspension geometry. Makes for a much better ride, and they were able to easily align it.
Hey I have this same truck but it’s a 1989, I see this lift kit will work for it. Did you lift the back at all or just the front? Just trying to see if I need to buy anything for the back!
Spindles lift was around 1200, tires we’re 1600 if I remember correctly, spacers for the rear were 250, and I have another 1k in front end parts and alignment.
Going through old pics, and pics after the lift…and it looks like it made the front track about 2” wider on both sides. So yes I believe it pushes it out some. I was able to contact the seller on Ebay with a question I had and they got back to me relatively quickly, so I’m sure they would have a definite answer!
Honestly you just saved me a lot of money because I couldn’t find them anywhere I was going to do a single axle swap on my 1991 gmc 2500 extended cab long bed
@@Chilloutbj214 that’s awesome man! It’s a really nice kit and super easy to install! I’ll actually be doing a walk around video of the truck finished product real soon so subscribe so you don’t miss it!
The tires @Jimmy Penrose ? ..... I did, with No Lift BF Goodrich Mud Terrain 285 75 16 (33x11) RWL 2 inch spacers. 98 GMC Sierra SLT Crew Cab 4x4 Dually 6.5 turbo diesel, Black
Hey - are my eyes deceiving me or was your truck a GMC @ min. 13:35 and a Chevy bow tie @ min. 13:55? What is that thing a GMChevy? Get real, traitor. I have a 1989 GMC 3500 and proud of it.
Besides the actual spindle lift itself, the only thing I had to buy was the spacers for between the rear tires and I got them for $250 for 2 of them. The link is in the description for the spindles.
Came out great man! You're be driving a nice dependable dually without paying $900 a month for 6 years.
Thank you! That was kind of the whole idea behind building the truck! I still have less than 10k it…and it’s paid off! Thanks for watching! I’ll have another video out soon! Been driving it a lot lately.

Don’t do it, too much BS involved with the vortecs.
That’s awesome. I’ve been looking for lift spindle’s for my 98 c2500 for a few years and now I know where to get them. How do you like them.

Can you send the link I have a c2500 “not dually” with bigger wheels and rims
The link is in the description! For some reason it won’t let me copy it here…
Hey man the kit in description is for a dually? I was looking and wanna make sure order same kit that’ll use factory wheels
Yes I believe it is there
Do you need different control arms or can you use the original? I'm trying to do this to my 2000 Chevy c2500 2wd and wondering if I need special stuff.
No sir stock 2wd front end components

Do u have the link to the wheel spacers? Im getting ready to order the tires and will need the spacers too
Hey man! Sorry I just saw this. Give “far from stock” a call and they will get you taken care of!
Just came across this I have a93 chevy dually 2wd with 22.5 on it been looking for a lift for do you have part number for the drop pit man arm thank you for this
Stock pitman arm brother!! Spindles do not mess with any suspension articulation angles. Simply just lowers the wheels.
Have you done the lift I got the same setup don't know if I wanna do 4.5 or 6.5 lift
@@cadillacecrafter3050 this 4.5” lift is great. Been on the trick since Oct 2022 absolutely zero issues.
So with it being a dually, did you have to use a spacer in the front? Or does the dually hub push it out far enough you can run stock wheels? I have a plan in mind for a square body

Did you lift the rear and if so how much do you have spacers on the rear for the 285/75/16 tires
No lift on rear, 2” spacers between rear wheels
Hey I have this same truck but it’s a 1989, I see this lift kit will work for it. Did you lift the back at all or just the front? Just trying to see if I need to buy anything for the back!
No sir I just did the front!
I have a question about the spacers, are they hub centric or not?
Just saw this sorry. They are lug centric.
Do you have a link to those wheel spacers? Are they hub centric or lug centric
I do not have a link for em anymore it would take me a while to find it. But give “far from stock” a call and they’ll get you squared away!
Did you take the steering stops off so you don’t lose your brakes? And how has it been riding so far
Yes matter of fact I did grind off the rivets and remove the stops. And man it rides/tows great.
What kind of wheel spacers do you have on the back
Far from stock is the brand. 2”
How much did it cost you all said and done. I need too do This too my truck bad
About 4k with tires included
can you run the factory wheels on the truck after it is lifted?
Yes you can but you have to use spacers in the front if it’s non dually
Did u need extended sway bar end links with this ?
No sir the factory length worked just fine!
Was the rear suspension stock height or does it have lift blocks ?
The rear is stock height, and the only thing I did back there was put the 2” spacers between the rear tires.
How much did all the parts cost in total? Because I’m trying to lift my c/k 3500
Spindles lift was around 1200, tires we’re 1600 if I remember correctly, spacers for the rear were 250, and I have another 1k in front end parts and alignment.
Does the rear have any blocks or no?
The rear is 100% stock
Do you have a 2.5 inch coil spring puck in ?
And do you have rear block in?
No sir it’s a 4.5” spindle lift. Rear is stock!
Do they push the tire out any farther then stock?
Going through old pics, and pics after the lift…and it looks like it made the front track about 2” wider on both sides. So yes I believe it pushes it out some. I was able to contact the seller on Ebay with a question I had and they got back to me relatively quickly, so I’m sure they would have a definite answer!
What size tires are you running
285/75/16
What size of tire are you able to stuff
285/75/16, which I believe is about 33” tall.
Can you drop the link to the spindle
I just put it in the description! Thanks for watching!

Can you put them on a 4 wheel drive k3500
No sir. They do not have the hole for the CV axles.
The tires @Jimmy Penrose ? ..... I did, with No Lift
BF Goodrich Mud Terrain 285 75 16 (33x11) RWL 2 inch spacers.
98 GMC Sierra SLT Crew Cab 4x4 Dually 6.5 turbo diesel, Black
Is who made that lift kit
It’s in the description of the video! Thanks for watching
How much money u spend to lift the truck?
About 2500
Make it 4x4
Good idea!!

I used the rental one from Oriellys!
