The motor mounts on the frame were the same, I cannot remember if I had to move them any or not… but I do not remember having any issues with that part of it. The engine harness is from the big block truck yes. I kept my small block computer, just because I didn’t have a way to tune out the vats… I would recommend getting the vats turned off and running a big block ECU because the tune is different I believe.

@@checkeredpastracing1984 I have a c2500 that I'm getting ready to dually swap for the dually bed on it has a 350 4l80 e transmission 350 has a lot of miles on it. I was thinking about big block swapping it but I was worried about the mounts and now knowing it'll slide right in there. I know it'll bolt right up to the 4L80. I just need to use the big block wire harness and the big block computer

What year is your truck? The problem I ran into is the early 97 and the late 97. The dash harnesses are a little bit different and wasn’t an exact fit. My cruise control and my brake lights didn’t work after the swap… make sure you either get an exact match to your truck, or swap out the dash harnesses too.

@checkeredpastracing1984 I have. 99 c2500 it's a utility bed truck with cruise . I'm looking for a big block out the and 98 99 obs dullay I recently purchased a 95 a 4x4 but it's diesel the 4l80 transmission. I'm going to take the whole front four-wheel drive setup off of that truck to have the truck be four-wheel drive. Then I'm doing the dually axle and go to bed. I have a 30-ft toy hauler. It's got to drag around lol

I built it this way cause i wanted it close to the real trucks as possible ,the real truck doesnt have the gap between the bed amd cab and its 2 inches shorter than a shortbed , plus i wanted what no one else has , its ALWAYS the only one like it anywhere we go ,,,,

No lift on rear, 2” spacers between rear wheels

We never figured it out on the s10 my buddy got impatient and sold it. My c10 still does it, but since I put in the snake eater 850s it does the rpm cut at 5500 instead of 3500… so I believe it’s in the tune, because I definitely am not out of fuel system on the c10. Tuning issue

@@tristenoberlender9685 yes we have tuners in our area… my only problem now is I do not want to get tuned with my un gapped bottom end and no boost controller. I have a fresh gen4 bottom end for my c10, and gates/Mac valve… so once I have that stuff together, I will get it professionally tuned.

Swapped whole harness!! It was a bear. Gotta swap the dash harness as well unless the harness plug on the pass side by the AC box is the same. 97.5 is a change over year for some wiring stuff…

Stock pitman arm brother!! Spindles do not mess with any suspension articulation angles. Simply just lowers the wheels.

Have you done the lift I got the same setup don't know if I wanna do 4.5 or 6.5 lift

Yes you can but you have to use spacers in the front if it’s non dually

I daily a 98 c2500 sclb with a 5.7 and 4l80e. It’s just as fun to drive as my 6.0 1500hd. I pull a car hauler with mine and it does good.
