    There is huge size market for silent mechanical keyboards. Because in ofc you can't use loud keys as it annoys everyone. Apparantly no brand address this market or problem. Also they need to be backlit.

      Mechanical mini is backlit and the linear red is decently quiet. But I know what you mean.

      I uses mx keys mini in the office for most of time, I brought a mechanical mini and my college complained that it is too noisy for her what should I do? i really want to use a mechanical keyboard as the mx keys mini is too low and give me wrist pain

      @@nightswithd buy one of them fancy new silent mechanical keyboards or get over it and just use a regular MX mini, not mechanical. Its better anyway. Mechanical keyboards are highly over rated. They're a glorified gaming peripheral. For whatever reason because of the hype they get from gamers, regular people assume they must be better keyboard for regular uses too. Definitely not.

    How about the half-sized right shift key (on the mechanical)? is it comfortable to use (in combination with arrow keys during coding sessions)? I wonder if people get accidental mistakes compared to the apple style shift keys on the mx keys?

    • @Yelizavetta666
      @Yelizavetta666 10 місяців тому +1

      I have the mechanical mini and never had any problem with the right shift, tbh I didn't even considered this could be an issue until I read your comment, I use right shift for typing and left shift for gaming.

    How are they compared in terms of fatigue. I read that without a wrist rest, the mini mechanical users are experiencing fatigue?

    Das Tastenerlebnis ist in der Tat sehr gut. Allerdings finde ich diese intelligente Hintergrundbeleuchtung extrem nervig. Kaum hört man auf zu tippen, schaltet sie sich aus. Auch wenn die Finger auf den Tasten ruhen, schaltet sie sich aus. Näherungssensor funktioniert nur mäßig, wenn gar nicht. Es gibt keine Option, mit der man die Zeitspanne bis zum automatischen Ausschalten der Hintergrundbeleuchtgung einstellen kann. In Situationen mit wenig Licht, wo man auf Hintergrundbeleuchtung angewiesen ist, echt nervig, wenn man in einer Gedankenpause sich immer wieder neu orientieren muss, wo die Tasten sind, weil die Beleuchtung aus ist.

    A huge surprise to me but I preferred the scissor style keys of the MX Keys (smoother typing action with less errors) over the MX Mechanical (rattly switches, cheap keycaps etc)

      100%. the mx mech is ridiculously easy to trigger. I make 10x more typos on that thing vs anything else. If it wasn't for that, it would be a great keyboard.
