Would I need to purchase a monitor with built in storage?

I was watching to see if I even needed to buy it. I’m def buying it. 4 channels of audio / safety track is NICE! I rarely shoot with a shotgun, but it’s cool to have that feature.

I just got the Mac Mini but with the storage upgraded to 512GB. I primarily use a computer for photo editing and this is a big leap from my 2017 MacBook Pro. I also shelled out for the Apple Studio Display. I keep all my photo files on external hard drives anyway and the rest of my crap in the Cloud but even so, software bloat was using up a lot of the 256GB on my MacBook so I thoupping it to 512 was worth it. I’m looking forward to seeing what saetchi bring out as a dock as their version for the previous Mac mini was very good.

Any good 4k/5K monitors for black friday? also if you need a multiple monitor setup which usb c hub or cable do you use?

Is noise cancelation really worth it for somewone that will have minimal use? Basicly only for talks with friends/family when in home and never use them for music. Also does it matter if airpod 2,3 or 4 if use them in this small limited way?

Logitech wireless is 2.4 GHz whereas Mac Mini M4 is, 6E (6GHz) airwaves. Does this not make a difference in favour of mac accessories.

Could you use the logitech keyboarx on your lap using a lap desk? They are not expensive and they do provide a flat surface.

I wish they'd make a version that wasn't a handle, but just a box that sat on top of the camera with XLR inputs.

I have both MX Vertical and Lift. I use them for my Mac and a PC daily. I had pain in my lower part of the wrist using a MX Master and MX Anywhere and other mice. This vertical handshake position is perfect and I would never go back to normal mouse. I have no more pain in the wrist.

I just wonder if the new USB-C Apple magic keyboard would work connected with cable to PC and alternatively with Bluetooth connected to the Mac? I would like to use it during the office hours connected with cable to my PC, but in the weekends and afternoons connected to my MacBook Air.

Folks, even if your existing USBc to A adapters work, if they were nice and affordable there is a good chance the M4 Mini won't see the mouse. The OS gives no indication of what is wrong, you just get the blurred forest screen background with nothing else at all - except a sudden shout from the Mini giving incomprehensible audio instructions on how to drive it just using the keyboard. This is horrid ! Get usb C devices or a better adaptor - or spend ages talking to Apple- who don't yet know about this !!!

the M4 iMac is the way to go. AH..nope. !!! Consider this: take the base Mac Mini for $599 and use same specs to an 24" iMac $1,499 then you REALIZE you are paying $900 for a 24" screen. That's INSANE , Stupid !!! How does anyone justify paying after seeing that ? You can get a bigger monitor for LESS than $900 !!! Buy the $245 monitor he mentioned and still have $655 to spend on other stuff !

Probably moving from my 2017 5K iMac to a M4 Mac Mini Pro. Already have a extended Mac keyboard, Logictech mouse ( Apple mouse is a POS, bad Ergo ) and hub. Will buy any other monitor than the $1,500 Apple one., probably in $500-700 price range. Would love to use my iMac 27" screen but Apple bricked the Target Mode in my iMac, POS move by them!

The benefit of the Apple Studio Display is that it provides a camera and microphone that the Mini lacks.

Other than Touch ID and gestures there’s not much to them… basically other than the best features that you can’t get anywhere else…

For me, I got the Mac Mini Pro with Nuphy , MX anywhere 3s, magic pad, Samsung T9, and 1 AR glasses as my monitor.

my favourite is a wired cheap mouse accurate and light. I don't like heavy mouse.

How would I connect my BenQ monitor? I have a dvi, hdmi, and usb port. I'm changing from windows to mac and there's so many add on's I need. Is it worth it? I just don't know. Time will tell.
