    • @wlsntech
      @wlsntech  2 роки тому +2

      You don’t need separate. I mostly use these through Bluetooth. But you can also use one adapter for multiple. The MX keys comes with the original Logitech dongle but the mechanical, mechanical mini comes with the new logi bolt which doesn’t mix with the original adapter. It gets confusing really. But again, I will say I’ve never had a problem just using the Bluetooth only way of pairing

      so I’ve only had the MX mechanical and the Keychon K3 pro. I would say, the MX mechanical mini is an iPhone. Great for average users who just want something already premade that works great. The K3 pro is also excellent, but is more for those who are open to a lot of customization. I would give it MX mechanical mini to anyone who is either starting into the world of mechanical keyboards, or just need a good keyboard. I would give the K3 pro to anyone who is competent enough to use the QMK firmware; not afraid of hot, swapping, switches, etc.

    I've been using MX Keys keyboard for a while and I like it LESS every day. Why? There's no good reference to get your fingers into the right place without looking down so I'm constantly in the wrong position and making way more mistakes than with any other keyboard I've used. For example, the function keys are exactly the same distance off the numbers--bad. Also, the logo on the "cmd" key looks similar the Windows key so I'm constantly confused which button is the Start button--I don't want Mac keys on my Windows keyboard. I also prefer dedicated multimedia keys over dual purpose FN keys. I do like the feel of the keys and can type quickly when I'm in the right position. It's VERY expensive, but I ordered direct from Logitech and got the palm rest for free. Finally, good luck getting your custom MX Master buttons to work--Logitech Options is CRAP.

      @@wlsntech yeah you know how most keyboards have a wide shift key on the left? The newer mx models have that key more narrow which screws up my muscle memory when using shortcuts that involve that key

    I don’t understand that hype around this mechanical keyboard. this keyboard is so bad, so cheap for the price... when typing on it it sounds so "plastic"… I prefer so much the mx Keys which makes it really premium and has much better typing comfort 😕

      Well it depends on your experience, for some people the MX mechanical keyboards are on the expensive side and they prefer something around $50. But for most they are great entry level

      I agree that the MX Mechanical is very expensive but I still like it for its wireless features. I also have a much cheaper Sharkoon Purewriter which types just fine, but it's wired and the metal border gives me static discharge shock 😅
      The normal MX Mini is nice, but I really missed the Home and End keys.

      @@wlsntech Mine isn't an official apple one it just copies the same design. It is a cheap, very flexy and very simple bluetooth keyboard I got for a couple of dollars. • @wlsntech
      @wlsntech  Рік тому +2

      Personally, I don’t have any issues with flex for the MX unless you really try to twist it. The Mx mechanical is a nice alternative option. It is thicker, but that’s only if you like a mechanical keyboard. And I’m talking about the mini for both. Since you would like to use it with your tablet, the mini is even sturdier.
