Thanks to Head for doing this. I'm a fairly recent convert to the brand after playing with Babolat for years. One reason for the switch is because Head communicate clearly and come across as a company not just interested in making money. Other brands should do the same.

A suggestion for Head: go back to full glossy paint jobs on all retails frames, full stop. Most of the tennis-playing public, if given the choice, would prefer it. The matte/soft-touch stuff, while novel in theory, is questionable at best in practice, often chipping more easily or polishing away to a gloss anyways when routinely handled (such as when one-handers have gripped the throat a few hundred times or more...). Full gloss has no such issues, lasts way longer in original condition, and, additional to being the finish of choice on pro stock frames (Head's included) for better looks on TV, it's also better looking in real life -- many would say, stunningly better looking. So hopefully we see a return to gloss. Just my two cents. Thanks for listening!

Recently switched back to Head for Speed Pro which is a fantastic racket. Only issue is the inconsistency in production. Had to send them back because one racket was 1.27 cm shorter than the others. Got 2 new ones from Head but again a slight height difference. Not much, but enough to annoy me 🤷🏼‍♂️

On the topic auf restringing. How often would you consider to restring the following setup. Playing around 2-3 times a week (usually around 1.5 h on court). I'm playing at around 3.5 - 4.0 USTA level. Racket is Head Gravity Tour with Tecnifibre X-One Biphase 1.30 and Signum Pro X-Perience 1.24 at 22 kg. Thanks for your advice.

After a long time I started playing tennis some years ago. I felt fine with the EXTREME MP 360+. One issue I had was with strings! max 4h of tennis and the string broke. I used Hawk, Lynxs, Kirschbaum super smash, RPM Blast, Luxilon Alu Power, Luxilon Savage.... 1,25 to 1,33 mm. Nothing really lasted long. I stung it with 25/24 kg.
So now it's time to move on and start a new racket journey.

    Dennis Fabian,
    Have some questions for you:
Will there be an upgrade for Head Extremes this year or next? If this year when?
Has Head considered making an Extreme mould that is good on serves? It is a great racquet but seems to lack the power on serves that is found more with Speeds
Have you considered doing a 99 sq inch line of racquets? Something similar to Wilson Shifts?
    Please comment Regards

New Extremes expected late June - early July. Cosmetics-wise, the same pattern like all current series of Booms, Speeds and Prestiges. Neon Yellow stays and where it was green, imagine a creamy-yellow/green of some kind. Very bright colours.

@@hybrid11theory75 there’s a reason why rf97 is a top seller, btw the Rafa origin is not a big seller. Djokovic adds all the lead afterwards, the lead is individual and not part of any production, lol ,)

@@hybrid11theory75 you've heard wrong then, it's really not selling anywhere near the levels that RF97 did.
Rafa origin really is only a collectors item, they only made a limited run of it too because even Babolat know it wasn't gonna be a huge seller... Head knows that a Novak replica would never be a big seller, because most Novak fans have no idea what racquet he actually uses so they all try and copy Novak by using speeds despite being completely clueless (like most Novak fanboys)

Hi Dennis, there was some complaint by European reviewers that the recent paint changes are bad for clay court play in that the racquet gets dirty and stays dirty. Is this feedback Head has received? I play on Hard courts so no issues btw. Will Head release a Djokovic model /mold even as a limited run? Of all the Head strings, which ones are better suited for play in low tensions (like 30-35#)?

7:04 I'm not a fan of non-glossy, non-matte paint-finish. I haven't touch the new Head Speed to see how it feels. My only experience with such a paint-finish comes from the:
    1) Pro Kennex Black Ace 300, its yellow throat part was VERY rubbery and got quite sticky and dirty during hot days
    2) Diadem Elevate V3, coming from the V2 version I hadn't noticed the new paint-finish until I saw it first-hand. Much less rubbery than the Black Ace, but still not my taste.
    3) Wilson Blade V7 18x20, briefly held one, less rubbery than the Elevate's. I still would prefer glossy or matte.
Among these 3, the Blade's velvet finish looked the best.
Don't know where the Speed's velvet finish belongs between these.

Restringing by time (rather than by breaking) is a complicated thing to figure out. I don't get enough control/spin from multis and I break them if I play with them; but for whatever reason it's very rare for me to break polys. At one point or another they can feel a bit weird, but I don't know how to describe it. Maybe like plasticky. My best guess is that this is the time to restring, but I wonder why this ruins the arm.

Personally, I'm just grateful they released the Prestige Classic 2.0. Thanks for this, Dennis. Now, if we are talking about a "modern" Prestige, here's what I would really like to see:
    - 98 sq.in.
    - 18x19 string pattern
    - 62 RA strung
    - 20.5mm or 21mm constant profile box beam
    - 315g unstrung
    - 315mm balance unstrung
    - target SW around 327-328
Basically not too far off the current Prestige Pro, but with a few minor tweaks to make it a tad more spin friendly, responsive and easy to play. But not so much so that it becomes the Prestige Tour, that veers off too much away from what one would expect from a Prestige racquet.

About consumer oriented, I play with Head racket for now 30 years, since radical bumblebee. Payed different radicals and switched to speed. Had great costumer experience with head every time, back 20 years ago as a bought a radical over ebay and the gripcap was broken and they switched the racket without question and send me a test racket for exchange without any question. I still tell the story to every young player.
I looked for years for a tennis bag and bought two speed xxl bags. But what i dont like with Head what different brands have, a full climate controll bag and i dont know why. As i played tournaments and was the whole day away, i had one compartment with rackets and one different drinks and staff that need to stay cool. And thats what i alwys missed. And the funny thing, i saw once on tv that the bag of Marin Cilic had a bag with two climate control compartments. I wrote Head and they told me it was a pro player setup and they where not selling it. And i still would like a bag like that and dont wont do buy a W one or any other brand. But if anyone knows one model, let me know. Great and interesting conversation as always 👍🏻
