Emily Penton, founder of the Inner Clarity System, faced severe mental health challenges six years ago. She felt worthless, reliant on medications, overweight, in constant pain, and emotionally isolated. Social interactions were draining, and she struggled with basic tasks like tying shoes or concentrating on reading. However, learning about simple eating and clarity principles brought a profound transformation.
Now, Emily has been medication-free for four years, maintains a healthy weight, and enjoys pain-free living. She's mentally clear, emotionally resilient, and socially engaged. Her journey from hopelessness to empowerment inspires her coaching clients to find their own paths to freedom and fulfillment.

@TomCarnivore are you a trauma survivor? Because carnivore has helped me a lot and it has helped my mental outlook. But I still experience stress from my traumatic background. Nobody really talks about that aspect of mental health in the carnivore community so I just thought I'd ask. Thanks

24:23 I got the same “treatment” from my dentist a few weeks ago. “Wow your teeth are really healthy compared to when we started treatment last year,… incredible”. I told her it’s eliminating Carbs” she eyerolled Hard and dismissed the conversation. I’m like, “but you said!”

LOL same. My dentist said my periodontal and gum disease were so bad I was at risk of losing all my teeth. Her advice was fluoride toothpaste and flossing! After changing to carnivore, fluoride free toothpaste and oil pulling, a year later she was astounded that my gum disease and all sign of infection had gone. I got the same eye roll, she was vegan :)

I have to say the written intro was me...I'm slowly getting there, I no longer need meds for anxiety which was severe (I couldn't leave the house) my depression is so much better and my musculoskeletal pain has halved. (There were many days where the pain was too much, vegetarian for 20yrs, always bloated/diverticulitis/daily chronic headaches/migraines etc)
NOW...I feel so much better at 5 weeks and so much energy and my muscle tone is back!!!
    (Oh I'm 52 this yr)
My Mum suffer with her mental/physical health. She was one of the stolen generation exposed to atomic testing (Maralinga) and European diet. It's heartbreaking for all of those who were exposed.
I thank you, with all my heart, for sharing your knowledge. You have literally saved my life. ❤
My youngest Son also does carnivore, he still has carbs etc and I also fall off the wagon with awful repercussions. He is so much happier, ups and downs have lessened (he is 19).

Is that why I glow in the dark? LOL. I'm joking about that but are there any known long-term consequences to the offspring of people who've had exposure to nuclear bomb radiation?

I’ve been dealing with anxiety, major depressive disorder and suicidal ideation and PTSD for 30 years. Due to an abusive father. No amount of help from doctors of any kind have helped me, just over medicated me.
When I eat red meat I feel good. However, I don’t seem to stick with the carnivore due to what life throws at me.
Was on vacation with a friend last week and stayed with my friend’s old boss. He is a very brilliant vegan. Luckily I brought pepperoni and sausage.
He told me I would have a heart attack if I kept eating red meat. I very respectfully disagreed. He then laughed and said there is no doctor on this planet who would agree to a carnivore diet. Again, I respectfully, told him there are very many doctors even cardiac doctors who agree with the carnivore. He simply changed the subject.
Today is my first day back at the carnivore life.

Do you eat lamb at all? I have dealt with the same things for the same amount of time and I have discovered that when I eat lamb my body not just my mind or my personality but my body becomes supremely happy! It is like a magic bullet for me. Give it a try. My favorite thing to do is fry up some ground lamb and put some eggs on top and let those cook, sometimes until the lamb is crispy on the bottom! 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

@@deedee9355 Thanks. I first modified my vegetarian diet to include fewer processed flour products (I was snacking on crackers all day long). I also had a thyroid condition, as it turned out, and that was addressed with meds. These changes helped a lot, but I continued to have some problems (and my thyroid prescription kept going up) until I started intermittent fasting and ketovore. That happened in 2018. Since then no symptoms at all and my meds are going down each year.

You are talking to more than 300,000 of your, most avid followers, on this channel. I love your podcasts and your information. This one is particularly good; what a lovely woman & what an amazing success story! I sent this immediately to another friend on my health coaching course, who has MS and is trying to manage it naturally.

19 at home playing video games all day and sleeps. You and your husband who love your son have some hard questions to ask yourself. I had my nephew live with me doing much the same as your son. My brother and sister in law did much what you are doing with your son letting him. I made him get up and out and get a job, any job, he could not stay at home all day. I worked early shift and he had to get up and out of the house and look or not I did not care. Of course there was friction. He is older now, has a career but he needed a boot so to speak up his ass to get out of that door, believe me it was hard on me, at times I thought I was too hard, too unloving...he has to leave the nest. I was a father at 19, I grew up really fast, went back to school and got an occupational certificate, worked, went back to school got my diploma then at 48 my degree. My daughter knew at a young age that she couldn't stay at home, higher education or work and out.

I started carnivore in December and only did it for three days. Now I started again. It's been 10 days. I wanted to stop but have kept on. This video made sense. I need to learn to shop right. I believe it's the fat that I'm lacking 🤔. Thanks for sharing!

What an encouraging and heart warming story. Well done Emily! Nice to hear you saying to stick to fatty cuts of meat... there is an element of those who are carnivore and exercise, trying to lose body fat who decry fatty cuts of meat ... I started this due to a TBI though organophosphate inhalation... high fat keto epilepsy protocol at first and eventually carnivore(ish)... I eat some fermented condiments and drink a cup or two of coffee... but wow... game changer

Another Great Interview 👍 Heaps to take in, related and relevant 👍. So glad that you healed Emily. I have a father with Bipolar & Diabetic and a cousin with MS. The problem is that they’re afraid to go Carnivore in case it kills them. Unfortunately, they’ll probably eventually dye from their Dr’s medications 💊. It’s a sad & corrupt system we live in. Thank you for all that you do Anthony 🙏👏

People who get into psychotherapy believe they will be helping people, only to find they charge people (and/or their insurance) enormous amounts of money to give them space to talk and prescribe chemical cocktail medications. Nothing curative, nothing truly therapeutic, and the patient feels and experiences the same things forever.
People get into family medicine believing they can help cure diseases only to find, again, that nothing is curative. It's about symptom management.
People get into dentistry believing they can make people's mouths better, but it's just pulling, filling, shaping damage.
Amazing how when people start eating a proper human diet, nearly all of the problems that send you to the three fields above just go away.
I get asked or told by friends all the time:
"Don't you miss or crave [insert fast food/dessert/pasta thing]?"
I don't think about them. I am satiated with fatty meat. I don't think about food during the day...at all. People who do carnivore and still have cravings either aren't eating enough, or they are lying to themselves about what they are eating.
"But for me/my metabolism/my [insert made up thing], I don't think that works for me."
Your digestive system, your skeletomuscular system, your circulatory system, your cell structures are not unique snowflakes. In that regard, we are more the same than we are different. Our systems and cells aren't like personalities.
We are also in this awful era of affirming everything, including when someone is overweight and has tons of health issues. People have embraced it and don't want to fix it, or believe that our bodies are filled with kill-switches that just victimize us.
IT ISN'T TRUE. Do this for 30 days. Then another 30. Then another 30. You won't ever want anything else. You won't crave. You won't need medications anymore.

As soon as we're done here I'm going over to your channel.
When I thought I could have diabetes I didn't go tell the doctor. I researched and found Dr. Berg how to do keto.
Now I'm having symptoms of Parkinson's (dad and sister had it) and carnivore is taking care of it.
I wasn't diagnosed with either. I was afraid they'd talk me into meds. I have other problems with all different names to them. It didn't matter. I didn't want any pills.
    Day 28 carnivore !

My cousin has a form of either MS or MD. He was patient #3 in clinical trials. But he has very disordered eating & he really had issues since Covid. He wouldn’t let anyone in his house. His brother-in-law did his shopping & when his employer said you need to start working from the office he decided to retire rather than be w people, he’s just so fearful. He had to have bypass surgery in his leg because he was getting sores that won’t heal & they couldn’t do a stent. I know carnivore would be so beneficial but he won’t even try.

It's always surprising that people take psychotropic drugs for years even though there is no improvement - just a dampening effect. None of these ignorant psychologists have any idea about nutrition except this lying, established misinformation. Add to that the terrible food like fast food etc. The only answer to all of this is really a carnivore diet. I've been doing this for over 2 years and my brain works so much better, my memory is excellent, no bone problems, no swollen fingers, no gray hair (surprisingly the hair turned light blonde). The hardest thing is finding good meat and real butter here in Thailand.

At least they are satiated and don’t need snacks anymore. Our 17 years old quit and went on the sad diet, I guess he will get to it someday, he knows what to do to be healthy so he can make his own decisions.

Beautiful story, I’ve watched her story before.. here’s me one thing.. I wish she had talked more about her transition from SAD to Carnivore.. was it hard? Did she have side effects, same Q with MH meds.. my entire second year of Carnivore was devoted to weaning down off of medication and it was very hard to do even with high fat and on a carnivore diet. I’m still not off of everything so sometimes when people make it seem like it’s so easy and she did it in seven months. It makes other people think what’s wrong with me that I’m not doing it as fast as she is.
