    I`m not sure what accent this gentleman has but his diction is clear and easy to listen to even when watched at 1.25 or 1.5. Thank you and I have bookmarked as a preferred info source. Thank you Kwaku

      Haha! You are very kind. That accent is from Ghana where I grew up. I appreciate you watching and taking time to comment too.

    This medication has helped me immensely. Outside of sleep disruptions it's been very positive.

    I broke out in total body hives after switching from Atenolol to Carvedilol. Stopped immediately. Hives resolved shortly afterwards.

    Dealing with Abdominal cramping still after getting off carvedilol 3weeks ago. The effects didn't happen right away- about 2 months in. Had trouble breathing, shortness of breath. Raised blood sugar and had to be put on a diuretic lost 26 pounds and 3 days with the water weight gain in chest. The fatigue was horrible. Trying to find if this side effect will end it's been tormenting. Thank you for your video.

      They are in different classes, so if needed your doctor can prescribe both.

      Hello doc, I'm on propranolol but I feel tightness in the chest and I feel like the heart is heavy, the discomfort was too much so my doc changed to carverdillol, I've started 3weeks now but I don't feel the full benefits,I only feel better when I get up from bed, after I walk for 1 minutes I start shaking again.. I'm suffering from tremors, essential tremors.. does it mean my carverdillol isn't working? Please what do you think

      I take this and lisinopril. Lisinopril causes coughing. I’m ready to start reducing both. I get dizzy and sick almost every time I take carvedilol in the morning.

      Also I have had worsening asthma every year since I started. Just found out this is not a good drug for asthma.

      Are you still on the meds? It might take some time to get use to it. I just started taking this med and feel the same way…

    Can I still take my multivitamin if I'm using carvedilol

    • @HealthRX
      @HealthRX  2 роки тому +1

      Yes you can. Best practice is to separate your multivitamins from your regular prescriptions by about 1 to 2 hours to ensure optimum absorption of the prescriptions. All the best.

      I've been taking Carvedilol 25mg per day for the last four years.
      I "personally" haven't gained a pound. Remember, everybody is different.

    Is there any reason why this drug would increase BP dramatically? My wife was prescribed it for her heart fluttering sometimes and now her BP is very high.

    This stuff is horrible I take it twice a day but
    I'm going to try take it once a day then all together next

    • @HealthRX
      @HealthRX  Рік тому

      Will probably be a good idea to discuss your decision with your doctor. Once a day Carvedilol may not give you round the clock protection. There are other beta blockers that can be taken once daily. Consider discussing with your doctor. All the best.
