I saw this band a few years back. They were actually opening for Nightwish. But it happened to be Charlotte's (Delain's lead singer) birthday that night and to top it off the concert was in Charlotte, NC.
I have been fortunate to see them twice in Atlanta with a VIP ticket, both before and after Marta joined MaYaN both times it was a hell of a show, first time was with Battle Beast and Kamelot the second time with Amorphis. All worth checking out.
whahaha now I really starting to think you might like all the Dutch female (front) metal vocalist. so you have in my personel favorite order; 1)Floor Jansen; (After Forever, ReVamp (you might like that band also) Northward and of course my most favorite band Nightwish. 2)Sharon den Adel; (Within temptation) 3)Simone Simons; (Epica) (some former bandmembers of Floor in here from After Forever, and Simone is a close personel fiend of Floor. they have also some nice songs together). I recoment Sancta Terra 4)Dianne van Giersbergen: (Xandria, Ex-Libris) 5) and the woman you just listened to is Charlotte Wessels; (Delain)..
Great reaction again. I can remember you saying that there were not many female singers in metal. I listen to a lot of metal and probably about 60% of what I listen has a female lead singer these days. They are knocking it out the park. Keep going with Nightwish of course, and Delain and many more. They are fantastic and I'm sure you have a million Nightwish suggestions by now so I'll not add to it. Just in case you haven't listened to them (but you probably have) I'll suggest some more amazing female singers, who have great cleans and 'dirties'.... Jinjer - Pisces (this is a right of passage for any reactor. It's probably not totally reflective of most of their music but it's a great start you'll have plenty of time to go down the Jinjer rabbit hole too - Teacher Teacher next) Spiritbox - Blessed Be Ingected Rain - Orphan Soul Great great singers and great great bands.

Unleash The Archers is an interesting band. Founded and headed by Brittney Slayes. Yeah Delain, Nightwish and Epica are the big hitters for symphonic metal. You should check out more Delain for sure. Their live stuff is great. Not Enough (live) or Burning Bridges are a few good choices to move to.

One thing I really hate about this band now is the lead singer keeps dyeing her hair.She is a beautiful natural redhead so why color it blonde or any other color?

@@nKrypteD1 Yeah I'm a big Kamelot fan myself. Sabaton, another great band, was the other band playing with Delain and Nightwish when I went.
Delain are great. Now try some Within Temptation (Angels, Our Solemn Hour, The Howling) and some Epica (Sancta Terra feat. guest vocals by Floor).
