I need to go ahead and do this. I have one I purchased for my construction business. Thanks for the reminder
Looking forward to future videos from the drone ! Love the Ariella shots .
Thanks!
Can you survive without one Yes !
Will it help probably !
Is it cool to see your farm from above Yes !
It sure is!!
I fine them great for checking fenceline livestock your crops and fruit groves. After a storm they're great for just checking out the property and seeing if there's any damage. You can even use them to herd your pigs if needed and of course making great videos of family and lifestyle
I just got one (same one) and bought it for my farm as well. I just (nervously) flew it today. Thanks for your video.
Woohoo! Thought you were a nurse... I knew I connected with you guys for a reason.
I am a nurse, soon to turn homesteader, investigating youtube options (in Australia).
Thanks for your videos, been watching frequently for a year, your names are commonly used in my household 😄
hiya!! bravo. you ccreated super masterpiece.
Thank you very much!
I have a DJI mini 3 and use it all the time. They are great to check on animals farther away as well as grabbing some dramatic b-roll.
easy to fly for beginners?
Really looking forward to drone videos and drone lessons! Tim in northern TN
I use mine for crop rotations.
Hi (From the UK), I got this drone for Xmas, I really liked it never really got the chance to test other features, in the UK a 560g drone has a lot of restrictions (150m from Buildings & 50m from people) I would be on Google Maps and using the Ruler to see how far I was from Buildings, I returned it and got a DJI Mini Pro 4 (sub 250g) which has a lot less restrictions.
Thanks for sharing ❤😊
Thanks for watching!
The home button does not work well when you are on Arctic sea ice that is always moving. Chuckle.
I bet not. 🤣
The issue with most drones is that they are made in China, and thus present significant security concerns. DJI is a popular China manufactured drone, which I believe the US Government has banned its use by government agencies. If you’re going to buy a drone, try to find one manufactured somewhere other than China. Actually, that should be your approach for anything you buy.
I’m not sure whether you are an FAA part 107 certificated pilot but FYI… you can fly drones as long as it is NOT for commercial use without a license. If your channel is monetized, you are breaking FAA regulations. With that said, it is very doubtful you will be fined, you will get a letter first. The drone is a good tool to use for a property like yours. But if you post it to UA-cam and make money, it is illegal. I came across your channel and subscribed. I like your content. I just wanted to give you a heads up. I am a licensed pilot and just don’t want to see you in trouble with the FAA. Looking forward to new content.
Does it have night vision?
Or thermal?
Be careful, Monetized drone videos are considered commercial use an requires License to fly. Recreation does not. Fine is high as 100K. Be cautious.
Great video, thank you! I love the thought of monitoring pasture grass with the drone. You mentioned monitoring predators - You got it in my mind - And now I'm thinking in season I could start checking my traps from my front porch while drinking coffee! Now if I could just figure out how to get the drone to also close the gate . . . .
Love you guys! Thanks for all the great content. Scott & Zizi, Hella Farms, Catawba, NC
Interesting. I like the idea of a drone. Only flew one at the fair at a demonstration booth. I kept crashing it so I would definitely need a beginner mode. Sounds fun.
