I always liked Mazda interior design and their emphasis on being a semi-luxury brand. Unless they come up with a viable electrified option that is affordable, I would probably pass over buying one, for reasons of cost, the direct fuel injection fuel delivery system, and modest fuel economy. Imagine a Mazda with a strong hybrid with a smooth transmission and a simple but honest design without frills - maybe manual but comfortable seats, an integrated display screen - one only is needed but have it behind the steering wheel as it should be.
Mazda still sells new vehicles without navigation SD card. That is extra charge, and so are the updates. What a slap in the face... I also hate Daylight Running Lights. Why ? They are not mandatory in the USA. Don't install them by default.
Gonna sound silly but my wife won’t get a car without the backup camera projected path when moving the steering wheel. I don’t know if I blame her with that visibility .
That’s an understandable criteria to have, trajectory lines really do make backing up that much easier! I would imagine it wouldn’t take much from the software engineers to include that feature.
It’s still a CUV so it’s fairly forgiving, but it is a more sharp and direct suspension feel then something like a Subaru that’s a bit less direct and more easily floats over imperfect road conditions without abrupt feeling. The sharpness/stiffness is probably why you can see the bumps more noticeable as they’re less smoothed over. 🙂

People used to be smarter and could drive without cameras, but today people are dumber. So they have to have cameras, and projected moving path

How's the ride overall? It seems quite bouncy from the video.
You sir are a doofus. Why tf would a compact, unibody, modern suv be bouncy ?

I say ride is much sportier and fun to drive! Subaru look like box, very boring vehicle. 😊
The original exterior design was so much better! I had a 2015 Soul Red and it looked so nice! The newer exterior design is boring!
Nah the new one looks 10x better because it's more elegant & it looks more upscale now
That does not look upscale in my opinion. Very plain and average looking

CX-5 rides stiff I wish they studied Subaru Forester for smoother ride 🧐🫥 what say you 😅
