    Put on a weighted vest to add difficulty to simulate being tired. (I use 40lbs since I'm a big dude.6'2, +200) Your body feels heavier when it's tired so this will help with endurance and being light on your feet.

      Or just make one with a tighter string to give the ball more pullback (faster pullback of the ball) you end up needing to throw two punches in a second to keep up with the ball and after 30 min, your muscles are fuuuuucked, I'm talking every muscle and punching that fast so long will def help develop quicker hand speed

    For anybody who wants to know how long it should be, as for me, with my head straight (not looking down), from the forehead to the front of my manhood (not the sack or a good 6 inches/15 cm below the waist) seems to work for me because it allows me to fully extend my arms without it zinging back at me too quickly until I get used to it.
    When I make several solid contacts I feel the way the guy in the video looks.
    It will be too long and well past your fist, out of reach, but to get started I hold the ball up by the string and give it a strike and that gets it going . Once you are in rhythm you will feel the way the guy in the video looks and know it's possible to be as smooth as he is. Thumbs up if it helped somebody.

      @mr1ddub 4 роки тому +4

      @@TXGladiators I don't think you are serious but in case you are or someone really want a serious response, then maybe this will help. I never said to the length of my manhood I said "from the forehead to the FRONT of my manhood..." not the length, which seems to work for me as a starting point and you can make it shorter to increase the speed as you get better and that length proves to be too slow. So your long manhood comment is irrelevant.
      I really wish people would read my comment thoroughly before they make irrelevant comments; a UA-cam plague I guess.
      A QUICK TIP: If YOU have to mention having a "really long" manhood that usually mean the ladies don't think its long enough to mention so you may want to stop telling on yourself. However, if you were just joking then your joke fell "short"

    I made one with a tighter string so when I hit it out it pulls back much faster which makes it 10x more difficult to hit it away again, I have to jab the ball atleast twice in a second I like it because the balls speed resembles the speed of a really effective punch, this I feel is to slow as people punch much quicker than that. Maybe having a slower one is good for timing but a tighter more harsh string is good for an intense session. 20 minutes feels like a 20 min sparring sesh because you have to punch really fast and frequently to keep the ball out which as I said is like 2-3 quick jabs/punches a second

    When doing the hook don't jump and turn 45 degrees. Keep both feet on the floor, turn your front foot 45 degrees along with your hips and pivot/swing your rear leg around (toes still touching the floor) as you throw the hook so you do a 45 degree turn. Commonly called a check hook in boxing.

    A great work out for beginners if you suffer from tunnel vision is to tie these at a reasonable heights and hit them facing straight and not looking at the ball, great for accuracy and helping you with tunnel vision.

    You forgot knees i do incorporate that sometimes it’s tricky at first but than you get the hang of it as the ball coming back time a knee sending the ball up then attempt to catch it with elbows good little drill also. This video was gr8 btw bro 💯

    I got one of these for Christmas and I've never been able to enjoy it. Always feels like the string is either too short or too long, and I'm super holding back on my punches 👊 I feel there are better exercises to improve hand-eye coordination, but maybe i'm just doing it wrong

    Brought the title boxing brand reflex balls and gave up to fast. Seen a pro boxer flow with one and I think consistently practicing without getting frustrated a few hours at a time can probably make improvements. They are proven to improve speed, reaction time, and reflexes when used persistently. Especially for inside fighting.

    Is the reflex ball supposed to be heavy or light? Mine is light and it travels too fast when i hit it. When i give it a light tap it doesnt travel enough. I have a feeling that the light ball is supposed to be for the advanced.

    How long should the string be?

    • @champsmma9591
      @champsmma9591  5 років тому +1

      There is no right answer, different lengths achieve different results. I will make a video about string lengths soon. My favorite length is from shoulder to just above the fist.

    • @Phanhsackdy
      @Phanhsackdy 5 років тому +1

      @AKA BENJAMIN thankyou, that's where I ended up putting mines to. Mines came with 2 balls, a black beginner ball(softer/lighter) and red(heavier/harder) I just switch from black 2 red and now I gotta get used to it since it's harder on my knuckles and it doesn't come back as quickly as the black ball does. Still I think it's a great invention.

    • @mr1ddub
      @mr1ddub 5 років тому +3

      For anybody else who wants to know how long it should be, as for me, with my head straight (not looking down), from the forehead to the front of my manhood (not the sack or a good 6 inches/15 cm below the waist) seems to work for me because it allows me to fully extend my arms without it zinging back at me too quickly until I get used to it.

    Living in the savanna, is giraffe don’t get to box like humans do. I bought this to see if it were animal friendly. Too my surprise and with a long neck , I learned to box in less than a few weeks using this.
    I’ve fought lions, hyenas, and even some cheetah!
    Will definitely be telling the other giraffe to buy one
