I have noticed that people who sit with soft spoken people, tend to be that way. Whereas people who are surrounded by loud people, speak even louder to be heard.
I never liked a deep or hoarse voice. Never enjoyed sitting with brash, ill mannered or loud people. I am immediately disgusted by bad manners.
A lower and softer tone, extracted from high up the neck tends to be softer. A tone extracted from the lower part of the neck tends to be hoarse or deep, from observation.
Tone of voice and dialogue delivery has an impact on how your message is perceived. Tea actually makes the throat dry and causes hoarseness. And when lying down, the voice can change too.
I must say your voice is so calming yet alluring and impactful - plus your content is extremely helpful. Thank you Jamila, definitely took notes

firstly, I am newly got an office job, I am confused about what type of clothes I should dress for office etiquette, what kind of clothes is proper for an office lady? Do I have to dress in an office shirt with a collar every day? are there any elegant or feminine clothes we can dress in the office?
secondly, I am not familiar with office manners, people always say "don't do this, do not do that (I was even told do not chew an apple in the office). so what is the proper office manners or social manners?

I’ve personally noticed, from a young age, that tone of voice and dialogue delivery changes how a message is perceived.
Other than my voice changing, when I’ve had too much tea or lying down, I change my tone of voice and rhythm during conversations. It helps.
I didn’t start doing it consciously. I adapted to this technique from a young age. I was always observant of my surroundings, as a kid and teenager. Very conscious.
I think a video on tone of voice and dialogue delivery would be great. I have a feeling, that you know what I mean. You seem like the type, who would get it.
I enjoy sitting with people who are well mannered, soft spoken, mellow and pleasant. It’s a skill and a quality very few people possess. But a very important skill.

I think this is such an important advice, especially when we are out of college or even before.
We have many ways to connect to others and we are used to instant messages or how informal we get when writing a text on apps like Messenger, Telegram, WhatsApp, etc that most often treat e-mailing the same way.

Mu request is gonna be quite odd, but I haven’t seen any videos about this, could you please do a video on what you would wear to a funeral? I’m 22 and I have no idea what I would wear to one, my friends father passed away a couple of years ago and I couldn’t go because I was working at the time, however every once in a while I wonder what you wear to events like that 😬.
It depends on the culture.
If it’s a funeral in the U.S., wear black and dress modestly and not casual. For a woman, I would wear a simple and modest black dress paired with a black button-up sweater, along with black tights and black flats. Some more modern funerals opt for more color, but you’re always safe with black in a typical U.S. funeral.
In my culture, we wear white, so this advice should be modified based on culture.
Funerals are always a touchy subject.
As someone already replied, any black modest clothing will usually be fine, unless the deceased or their family has explicitly stated otherwise.
Another exceptions are of course weddings in non western cultures, in which case you should research the proper dresscode or ask someone you trust about appropriate funeral attire.
Apart from clothing, try to be mindful of other funeral customs, e.g. who should walk and stand where during the funeral service and burial. Some religious ceremonies will also require you to know certain scripture and recite it during the ceremony.
In general people are forgiving about small faux pas, as long as you try your best not to be disrespectful.

@@quitecontrary23 Great point, I think black modest formal clothing is acceptable generally in all Western countries. I would add black suit + white button-up shirt as also an option, though usually it's worn by men. Nude hosiery is also permissible, as long as the length of the dress, skirt or trousers is covering most of the legs (eg. 7/8 trousers, below the knee skirt or dress).
You can have heels, but on the low side and no thin pointy ones as you may be expected to walk on grass, no boots, open toes, sandals, sneakers, etc.
We wear black color dresses on a funeral.
