Well Samcrac used it and he liked it. I used it and I liked it. Mike used it and he liked it. Sounds like Rich is one of 4 that didn't like it. I like those odds. Maybe he didn't use it correctly.
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds like any thing there is going to be people that like it people that don't. There will be good units and bad units. I am guessing some people will use it incorrectly and use it for things that if is not meant for. It is what it is. It's $75 and people are probably expecting a miracle out of it.

I have had the exact same ozone gen that you bought. I have used the hell out of it for nearly 5 years now and it's still running like a champ!!!
I use an ozone generator in every auction car I buy and in my opinion if your flipping cars I consider it a must.
Man your driveway is full of good looking vehicles.
You might want to turn on the AC while running the ozone machine, to clean out the vents, etc.
We use the ozone machine in our rental houses. Very good to clear out any pet smell or smoke from the last renter right before we show the house. We keep it on for the full time and keep the house closed up overnight.
Good investment Def I've always wanted to try one of these exspecially in a a big truck I drive OTR and I've worked for some companies that do bother to clean the truck all that well so yes I'll definitely be looking into this product ty again Randy for some great content 👍
I worked in a hotel, and all of the rooms were non-smoking, but people would smoke anyway, we used one of those ozone machines to get the smell out.

When I worked in Hotels when I was younger we swore by these machines if someone smoked in a non smoking room. You are correct in that you dont want to be around these when its on.
They usually worked very well unless it was a vomit or Bong water spill, that it coulndt cure.

Hey man actually the best way to run the ozone machine is by putting the ac on max cool witn the car running and setting the machine on the passenger floorboard right next to the ac return
The ac helps disperse it through the whole car while cleaning the ac system as well
This is what we do to evey car that gets detailed in my shop
Also of ac ever has a smell this will take care of it
Or you could also spray lysol in the cowl does very similar
I think it’s supposed to be regular air to circulate and not the AC. They even have this posted at quite a few automated drive thru car washes

I bought the same ozone machine a few weeks ago. Used it on my Yukon cause it had a mildew smell. Ran it for 80 minutes and smells were gone but came back but not as strong. Going to run it a few more times to see if I can completely eliminate it. Let us know how it works for ya!

Some storage facilities can accommodate doing work out of them, it probably will not accommodate your lift but since you do not sell anything or have customers coming to your shop you may want to look into it.

We normally turn the car on turn the air wide open with the vents open 2 hours isn't good. 30 to 45 mins is good as long as you have the proper deodorizer for it.

We used these in hotels (much larger ones) when I worked there in college. Would clear the air in an entire ballroom in an hour or so. Had to lock the doors to keep people out.

It’s Oxygen3 it’s similar to thunder storm smell it also can smell like chlorine however the generator produces a electric charge to separate O2 that then attachs to another separated O2 and combines to O3. But hey it damn works wonders to kill almost everything in a water damaged home you bag a bed and use it to kill dust mites
A friend of mine uses one to kill bedbugs. Wonderful thing.

Good tip to change the position of your seats up and down during different sessions with it. Careful it will really damage your lungs. Turn car fan on recirculate you want it to get the cabin filter also.

@@MrBod4life I don't turn the a/c, I just run the car with the fan blowing on high and recirculate. 20 minutes and the car has no odor what so ever. Just make sure no person or pet is in the car when doing this.

I´ve read ozon smells like that distinct smell sometimes after a very intense thunderstorm with multiple strikes closeby. Or when you pull a static shirt over your head while undressing.

Thank you for doing this video, I've been meaning to ask you about this type of situation because I have a car that some moldy food was left in for too long and has an odor to it.
I was debating between an ozone machine and a steam cleaner
You need to do both. A good shampoo, a can of Damp Rid and hopefully some low moisture days with the windows down, and then a cycle with an ozone generator.
Be sure to run the HVAC with it on recirculate for 30 minutes while the generator is running.

Positive charged ozone like the machine your using generates is not good for you, it can cause headaches at worse. But if you use an ozone machine that utilizes a negative charge ozone you can inhale that all day and it will only help you!!!!. A while back i built my own ozone machine with a quartz crystal UV lamp at 145 nano meter wavelength installed in a copper tube chamber with an air inlet and outlet utilizing an aquarium pump to pump air through the chamber. I used it recently to eliminate the smoking and vaping stench out of a ford edge, ran the hose through the slightly opened window and with the ac/heater fan running on internal circulation and within 3 hours the stench was about 98% gone. I'm gonna run it longer again in the near future to finish the job as i was working with time constraints the first go round... oh and its important also if the vehicle has it to clean or replace the cabin air filter!!!

flowgy, when Ozone breaks down, it leaves behind Oxygen when then gets reconverted back to Ozone by the machine. Over a 30min period, you will not require oxygen from the outside.... Dallas' other car detailing videos are great, but his knowledge with Ozone is lacking unfortunately... he even refers to Ozone as CO3....

Since you setup the ozone generator in the the vehicle, don’t you agree it makes since to turn the car on to run the airflow to pull in fresh air and better circulate while Ozone machine is running. Also, Ozone has a half-life meaning if you have 60 minutes of ozone production the half that time is sufficient for O3 molecules to disipate.
i've got that generator it destroyed odor frm the lndry rm i lived above..laudry doers hated it as much as i hated the smell of their lndry in my stairwell..machine took that smell out in 30 mins..well wrth the money
Why is your rear bumper blue? And yes you should’ve folded in the rear seats to a slight degree leaving all the fabric open to the Ozone and allowing the Aozone into the trunk as well.

I have a truck that when you turn the heater on it has a musty mold dust smell do think this would fix that? There is no In cab filter on this rig

We used to ozone machines in disaster restoration they work but you have to leave it on for a few hours.
In cars they don't need to be on nearly as long.

I try to avoid all contact with the ozone. I will set up the machine in a car, set the timer, close the door, THEN plug it in from outside the car.

Best to do this where there is no UV light. It kills the ozone and makes it work not as well
