Something that cracks me up about how people react to Marie is when people who are skeptical of her act like they have something to prove against her. Instead Mom and Dad one room, Oldest sister in room alone because she installed a lock saying there was another whole room so use it! The rest were in the other room! The 4th room hadn’t been used for sleeping for six years! When I told her I would help her clean up the room I didn’t know this beforehand! I went N.A.V.Y! Never Again Volunteer Yourself! It took us two months of six hours a day to get it clean so the other kids could use it!

She believes the clothes should be folded vertically (some like denim jackets should be hung) than the usual laid out, horizontal way of putting up in shelves/cupboards, not sure why. Maybe she said it adds longer life to those. Anyway lately many people seem to be switching from traditional shelves to drawers for fold-ables, so this metthod is convenient and effective

Since it takes production time and money to shoot something, media companies may not give other people that right to retract footage. Who knows. If people are annoyed by the way media companies portray her, maybe it wasn’t the best direction. They wrote the narrative and put themselves in a mildly negative light (even theatrically/fake). So, is it so surprising how some people react?

Poemi10304 I see your point. But as you said, we don’t know what deal they struck. So, it is unknown if she had any kind of ability to okay the footage. Since it takes production time and money to shoot something, media companies may not give other people that right to retract footage. Who knows.
If people are annoyed by the way media companies portray her, maybe it wasn’t the best direction. They wrote the narrative and put themselves in a mildly negative light (even theatrically/fake). So, is it so surprising how some people react?

For me personally, their attitude towards her is disappointing because the media (although less so now) is an expression of some American cultural values. I feel valuing life skill, a kept personal space and your relationship with objects, in a capitalist driven society is better then a quick cheesy laugh. (The attempts at comedy aren’t take super great either, but that is subjective.)
Honestly, someday you might need to know how to fold a denim jacket to pack it in a suitcase or store it. Same with bags or infinity scarves. So even if they're thrown in there as a joke she might see the value in taking it seriously.
