Cuando voce viene a Kissimmee FLORIDA? Love your style and approach, what do u recommend for a old barber that has shaky hands but still produces great but still have this bs stigma.
I don’t agree with the numbers on the side, I’m sure 99% of people have had their hair cut (regularly or not) before, and would have most likely had a number used on the back and sides so they clearly have some knowledge on it, if their last barber used a 2 last time and it was a bit shorter than they like, then go with a 3 or 4, or if they have no idea at all, either ask for a photo and say what you think that probably is, and start 1 guard higher than what looks it like to be safe OR start with your highest guard (say 8) on the Temple region so they can see and work your way down til it’s at a length their happy with, is very quick and they reach a desired length they actually want, not just what you guess they want from what they describe, you have to remember the clients aren’t professionals like you said, but that also means that their explanations aren’t always accurate, for example younger people come to me regularly and ask for an ‘undercut’ but have no idea what that actually means it’s just a word they heard/saw with a cool haircut photo, but I agree with most of the rest of it good video
This is a great reminder of the basics of our profession. I whole-heartedly agree 100%. Thanks Mr. Falla.
