Barbering school here in Montreal Canada is like 3 to 6 months. I went, got my diploma and I feel not ready which ia unfortunate. However i'm looking to get into a shop to learn futher more. Just need to drop my fear of messing up and to make mistakes which I will. I need experience and progress. I believe tho

Hair shows are good and are free and you do get to see uk as a lot of free hair shows also

Uk have to have a city and guilds you have to do 3 levels before you can go out into industry it is a good basic thing first

A person who go to Barber school learn structure at a professional level in America 🇺🇸 there are Rules and regulations to protect the clients and yourself
I think school is a waste it’s very expensive and most theory. I think barbering should be practical all hands on no better school than being under a barber!
I used to think just like you but after years of barbering I plateaued and it was because I was missing all the theory I never wanted to pay attention during school. Knowing why you do something is as important as doing it. Thanks for sharing
