One of the most important steps to a successful haircut is the consultation.
A successful consultation will give you the confidence and direction you need to provide your clients with the best haircut and service that you can provide.
Today, Peter's going to walk you through these steps, and an example of each.
Let us know in the comments below what your thoughts are on the Glassbox Consultation methodology, and whether or not you took anything away from it.

Excellent! Bravo Peter!!!
Hello. Thank you so much .great video
Thank you 🙏🏽
The last part was unique.. I’m no barber but I’m taking notes and watching videos.. what you say in the end, makes a lot of sense, never seen anyone talk about that.. observing how someone hair is and ask questions base on what you see 👍👍👍
This was great! I really enjoyed this. I think these steps could also apply to any business.
Some great tips here !
Very nice Peter .👍👍👍

Good video. 👏👏👏
Amazing advice. I'm going to watch this each day for a few days and get it in my head. I'll be considering having a more elaborate consultation from tomorrow, with focus on making my client feel as comfortable with the service as can be. Thanks again, looking forward to future videos
Thanks for the feedback and support! Please let us know how your consultations go, looking forward to bringing everyone new videos.

Great Video man! The consultation was one of the biggest takeaways for me from when I took the 1 week course with you guys.
Thanks Bradley! Nice to hear from you! We appreciate your constant support, let us know what type of videos you would like to see from us.
Thanks I have an exam on this later on today 👍👍🙏
Well done! As a training barber, im interested to learn about the ergonomics of barbering. Whats the best way to hold and use my tools without risking long-term health issues such as carpal tunnel, bursitis, etc. I'd also like to learn how to be more efficient in haircuts. What steps can i reduce to make my haircuts faster, and how to organize my workspace so i can find my tools faster. Looking forward to more videos!
Hey Josh! Thanks for the feedback, we will definitely put this into our upcoming series! Keep an eye out for it.

Vision crafting is pretty much judging someone based on the way they look. What if a old man wants a skinfade?

Questioning is important but making decisions based on what they are wearing on the day they visit you doesnt hit the mark.. What say he is a suit wearing politican and wears a business like style for work but visits you on his day off in his gym gear and has his hair styled messy and textured so you need to delve deeper in your questioning to get the full picture of there lifestyle
