That's why I take NO pharmaceuticals and only a few vitamin supplements that my doctor says I'm low on (after blood tests confirming it). I plan to live naturally and die naturally and refuse to be a puppet of the medical or pharmaceutical industries. And so far, at 68 with no physical problems and eating right (no fast food, sodas, or other junk), I'm in great health! We have to be our own doctors and think for ourselves.
Bravo, Dr. Levy. My own life experience validates your theories. My beautiful late mother had dreadful osteoporosis (she lived to be 95-1/2 ) and she was lucid and remained active until her death but she was completely hunched over. I was just tested for osteoporosis. I eat zero dairy and take only probiotic and magnesium supplements plus a meat/fat diet and a daily weight-resistance workout. I didn't understand the results from the paperwork that was given to me after the testing. I went online and still couldn't figure it out. So I went to an RN and she said, let's put it this way. If you fell off a mountain, you would not break a bone. I call that happy news. I'm 83 and straight as an arrow with incremental increases in bone density every year.
Between the last few decades worth of municipal water fluoridation and devastating farming practices that have stripped once fertile earth of its nutrients--chelating what minerals were left with industrial fertilizers and glyphosate pesticide, most people are over-fluoridated (which is linked to higher incidence of fractures) and deficient on trace minerals like boron and magnesium, also putting them at risk for bone problems and many other adverse health conditions. Trace minerals are needed by every organ system in our body. It is really no wonder we are witnessing the increased incidence of almost every chronic illness known to health professionals for ages, plus a multitude of new ailments like autism and their dramatic rise in the last few years despite the so-called progress of the medical industrial complex whose business is now more lucrative than the business of war. Anyone who wholeheartedly investigates industrial practices over the last century has to be suspicious.
Gaia's Public Health Nurse Don't count on you're Dr's telling you this very important information.Thank you very much for sharing this info...Here in Canada we have universal health care, however that doesn't mean we are healthier then our American neighbors due to the fact they actually don't share the simple info that would make a difference, instead they put on us on pills that harm, not help us...The time has come for the world's people to understand that medicine for humans has always been foods (organic) We don't need to be taking harmful meds that end up being the reason for new medical problems..
I have increased my calcium and I have built back my cartilage. (along with a joint complex product containing glucosamine) I haven't been able to run at all for the last 15 to 18 years. I am now back to running without any pain in my knees for the first time within that time range. It has taken about three years to do that. I don't take pain or inflammation drugs. I use natural foods for that such as, Pomagranite juice for inflammation. Now, I"m back to running with no problem at the age of 68.
It's true, if you don't have a highly acidic lifestyle, you don't need to supplement calcium. However, calcium is a base, and your body uses alkaline minerals to neutralize acidity, so if you drink alot of soda or sugar, your body will use up calcium, and these people will need to supplement.
The evidence I see is that too much Vitamin D can be harmful only with a deficit of Vitamin K2. These form a sort of assembly line of protein synthesis and missing the K2 can lead to the unchelated protein catalyzed by D going off the track. Exactly what K2 is only came in 2008, but it's pretty important stuff.
I had to have parathyroid surgery to remove a small lump in my neck..The blood tests all came back that I had too much calcium in my blood (leaking out?).This is called hypercalcemia. This can cause many symptoms ie depression. I initially thought I was losing the plot.Too much calcium is very dangerous and you can slip into a coma and even die..I was put on a drip to lower my levels twice.back to normal now.We need Vitamin D from the sun and apparently 20mins sunlight is usually sufficient if you can manage it...Therefore im inclined to believe what this man is saying!!!
I actually showed all the symptoms tiredness, aching body and muscles but the final straw came when I sort of mentally "lost it" cant go into it more but depression can also be one of the symptoms attributed to thyroid problems..the blood test was done by the phsyciatric dept then the calcium situation was flagged up!
I think you just need to ask for a blood test on your thyroid hormone levels or a test for hypercalcemia..Im sure the doctor will know what you want!..The counsellors suggested the blood test as a general precaution thats all I know.
If you take calcium then you need to take vitamin D3 as this increases calcium absorption. You need to take vitamin K2 as this tells the calcium where to go otherwise the calcium goes everywhere and not mostly to the bones. Muscles need calcium as this is what helps muscle contraction magnesium in muscles causes muscle relaxation. Have too much of one thing causes a knock on effect to all other nutrients in the body. Too much copper reduces zinc absorption. Copper water pipes causes increased inorganic copper in the body which also reduces zinc in the body. Stretch marks is a clear sign of zinc deficiency. Many pregnant women after child birth have given most of their zinc to the baby. This results in post natal depression. This man in the video knows what he is talking about. I support his message.
He is not mentioning that minerals have to be 'Plant Activated' in order to be used by the body. Minerals such as calcium can only be used by the body when they are absorbed through the roots of plants and an electron is removed to make it usable by the body. People buy mineral water to drink and if the minerals did not get picked up from plants but were dissolved by, for instance, running water over a calcite rock, then the calcium is useless to the body. Calcium also needs to be used with other things that help it to work better.
Calcium is fine as long as you are taking it with magnesium. most people are deficient in calcium. it's 65% of your mineral content and so when you're low in it, it starts a long line of problems. copper shortage results in diabetes. diabetic patients can be cured with copper suppliments
TWB, thank you for explanation. It resonate with other information I've heard. Minerals appear to be co-dependent on each when it comes working effectively.
Please please please... Can Dr Levi explain his statement about copper. Where is the evidence that we all have too much copper and should stop supplementing it. We would all be: (1) very interested. (2) very grateful for the information. (3) healthier in the future....
You're joking ! Quote: "read any of his books". Do all of his books specify the problem with copper ? Almost definitely not. Can you specify the book which specifies the problem with copper ?
Man it is great that someone is telling the truth about calcium and milk. Great vidio. Most of what you said i learned back in 1970s after almost killing a puppy by feeding him pasteurized milk. Almost nobody believed the truth back then or now. We are so brainwashed in this country. No wild animal ever gets osteoporosis. And none drink milk as an adult
not heard calcium explained like this before, but what came to my mind was that Dr. Robert Young says that calcium leached from bones and found in body is to neutralise acids, which can then lead to stones as it binds. So is the raise in calcium in cells damaging them or is it there to protect cells from acidic damage? I suppose like the cholesterol debate, is cholesterol really the villain or is it there to protect us from acidic damage and bleeding internally?
Thank you! I have osteoporosis and didn't know calcium was the culprit for causing aortic and vascular plaque which didn't make sense to me because I am not overweight or sedentary. Now I know what to take! Thank you❤
Vitamin "MK-7 K2" is the stuff, you need to combine with D3 (which increases the calcium intake by 30x !) . This is the Vitamin, which act like a "transportation hormone ", and next to other great effects, it`s used in the body, to transport the calcium out of the soft tissues ! Well, without a solid base of magnesium it`s pretty useless. Calcium is awesome: Reduces inflammation, is important for your heart, for your energy, ect. ect. . BUT: If you don`t have enough K2 , the doc in the clip above is right !
Ynnlarcron Check out Dr.Eric Burg on K2.This guy really makes an understanding in what's going on.He has helped me and at 52 I feel great and take no meds.
+ET Himself, exactly, K2 is to make bioactive the protein Osteocalcin, to deposit calcium into the bone matrix, and K2 activates the other protein (that is also dependent on K2, and that is called GLAMatrix to stop calcium from going into arteries and soft tissues. K1 is totally opposite and found in leafy greens for the purpose of helping w/ blood clotting. K2 is more of a blood thinner.
The book should be re-named to " Death by Calicium without Vitamin K2 (mk7). K2 drives calicium into the bones and keeps it from depositing inside the arteries. Calcium is also needed to bind with oxalates in the body to prevent painful kidney stones.
Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the human body. . If you do not supplement with calcium, how do you then maintain the enormous amount of calcium that is needed in your bones?? Definitely you cannot get it from the diet. I had a constant chronic lower back problems for 20 years and after just 2 weeks of Youngevity's Beyond Osteo FX, it was magically gone. I am a firm believer in calcium supplementation and this doctor's explanation (at least for now) does not convince me otherwise...
my own focus regarding having any overuse of Calcium; is the risk of acquiring PsuedoGout. As an-often Gout sufferer, I have awareness of the Uric Acid problem, and the long term damage. Gout itself can be treated, but with PsuedoGout; the near identical symptoms, and build up around the affected joints are all there; but the buildup consists of Calcium, and cannot be treated
What he fails to tell you is that a lot of Vitamin C consumption blocks the absorption of copper in the body. He also fails to tell you that with all the zinc supplementing everybody's doing, too much zinc wipes out your copper (yes, too much copper also wipes out zinc). If you want to supplement with Zinc and high doses of Vitamin C, you better be supplementing with something like a Mitosynergy Copper-1 product. Also, too low copper levels in the body help to contribute to gray hair. High doses of Vitamin turn from a anti-oxidant into an oxidant producing Hydrogen Peroxide, also contributing to grey hair.
I don't understand the rage, he's saying as long as you get the three nutrients from you're diet don't supplement even more. He's not saying avoid iron and calcium at all costs....so what's the rage in comments about?
the body needs extra magnesium stearrate and mag glycophate for the distribution of calcium in the body....but too much calcium over a long period of time will calcify the heart valve and the prostate
Excess calcium in the milk is coming from calcium minerals added in most if not all milk. This is because calcium due to light absorption over days in the supermarket and your fridge tends calcium to disappear in the milk, hence this added calcium. This seems why the research Doctor has mentioned about those taking more milk have had higher mortality. Having fresh and organic milk is the safe bet.
Yes it is very annoying how everyone contradict themselves. But one thing I do know, is that you want to get as much of your nutrients from food sources. Whenever I take supplements I typically will take herbs that have the nutrients that I want to get, instead of taking the isolated vitamin or mineral.
Calcium, Iron and Copper NEVER.... I upped my calcium in blood work by simply eating and juicing ORANGES. I didn't need a supplement to do the job. Bones.....GREAT SHAPE and I ain't young!!!!!!!!!!
I had a Aunt that died from taking calcium supplements which the Doctor gave her , she got cancer and they told her family that it was from the calcium supplements.
Acid reflux medications deplete the calcium in your system as well class action lawsuits going on about that now and we speak so what's wrong with calcium supplementation if you are on an acid reflux medication daily
Calcium deposits only in a dead and degenerated tissue not in healthy tissue, calcium deposits in coronary artery means that indicates they are already damaged by atherosclerosis, oldage, high BP or diabetes, and other degenerative diseases, not due to increased calcium in the blood.that happens only in hyperparathyroidism ,calcium deposits in normal healthy tissue
I take Cal-Mag Butyrate Short Chain Fatty Acid from BODY BIO 6 pills per day as Terminal Lung cancer patient .I am not sure ,how is different from just Calcium only .Please help me to understand more .
Iron supplements mey be needed for menstrating women. For anemiacs, B6 can be safer as it recycles the iron and is necessary for its proper handling within the body. I no longer needed iron pills once I got enough B6. Forcing too much iron down the gullet does not work so well. It is believed by many doctors that excess iron aggravates the aging body.
hmm the only thing he said that was accurate was the calcium copper you need as a biocide and it is been depleted the iron would be the form you use the supplements from ore source then he would be correct if from a vege source not an issue and have seen this format save people from severe anemic damage Tony
Vitamin d is a hormone. It's been argued that low vitamin d, as well as the other metals can be caused by low magnesium. It acts as the control. Without it there is chaos.
Can never have too much Calcium, body is intelligent and will send it where it needs to go(most people are deficient in about 90 nutrients), or create a backup reservoir. Also this guy has a major copper deficiency, as indicated by his white hair; he is not too far from a heart attack. I speak with so much certainty because I've seen people reverse chronic illness with the right calcium(or nutrient depending on the illness) supplements
What is the quality of the calcium prescribe (synthetics) for those increase of bone density on scan after taking calcium? And was the calcium taken with of there vitamin to be assimilated properly? What was the PH on those people, if the ph is to acid it will that the calcium in muscle and bone to balance your body to be more alcaline. So of sure the scan want show mush. If this is right what is the cause of osteoporosis?????????? The scientist are NOT looking for the CAUSE of things!!!!!!!!!!!
Yet he does not mention Biotin which was so horrible I thought I was dying until I read the horrible side effects of Biotin and threw it in the garbage bin and drank a lot of water until I was able to move my muscles again, get rid of dizziness, migraine headache (yes one that did not go away) and spacing out just for starters......
As I understand it, most people are copper deficient. Why would it be a toxic supplement? what kind of copper is bad? what kind of calcium is bad? very unclear
Is it possible, likely in fact that the the nature of the medical professional [hours worked + patients needing to be seen on a day/day-week/week basis] is [along with the lacking nutrition edicsions] what seriously hampering the medication help the people are given? It seems to easy to offer the opinion “look at that health care practitioner, they clearly need to follow advice X for the betterment of their own health”).
Collagen matrix 🤠. Yes density does not = strength. Brittle comes to mind. CAS love it. Becoming the ultimate Health Marker. ?Collagen a protein structure?
he is right about calcium and iron...but when it comes to copper i do not agree.....each and every supplement you take today depletes ciopper...copper regulates iron ....we do not need iron because it gets regulated by copper...for bones potassium ,copper,c and magnesium and lysine plus phosphrous.......large amount of c depletes copper.....
Hypercalcemia is caused by not taking enough dietary calcium and as such the thyroid overreacts and "robs" calcium from the bones and overloads in the blood. Calcium needs a lot of co factors such as magnesium, zinc, vitamin D3, vitamin K2.
Every time I see this doctor on UA-cam he seems to be aging terribly.. He's completely grey now and still chronically congested.. On the other hand, Dr. Ray Peat who's in his 80's isn't grey, is quite muscular and seems to be getting younger advocates that we should be getting 2 g of calcium daily for optimum health.. Pass the milk please..
I would not judge someone's intelligence or knowledge by the color of their hair. I have read several of his books. To confirm some of what he is saying, check out Linus Pauling Vitamin C Foundation where there are many research articles listed. Now on the other hand, I would never ever take Vit D (see Amy Proal and Trevor Marshall for info on toxicity of vit D). If people really are concerned about calcium, why not use leafy greans as a source.
www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/002432057990359X vitamin D is a seco steroid. Steroids in excess suppress the immune system. www.direct-ms.org/pdf/VitDVieth/Vit%20D%20not%20a%20Hormone%20Vieth.pdf
foxy wolf.... Don't jump on his wagon so fast !! Many other Doctors (Naturopaths) have a completely different understanding. Please do plenty of research before making your decision.
I'm not doubting you; but I'm a lactose intolerant disabled taxpayer with arthritis and osteoporosis who never liked milk since I was a baby so afraid I'll find you correct. Nothing I can do now as is too late for me on my Medicare and surviving on my little SSD. Wish I could unknow things I've learned since becoming disabled but do buy bottled water, although Dollar General brand. I have peace and pain as I feel my bones soften without more details. Messed up system we have. But sounds great.
just eating bone broth soup from pasture raised animals atleast twice a month is the best way to get everything our bones need without a supplement and you get some good meat too! (usually from a chicken) Vegetables also are a good source but you have to consider absorption rates paleoleap.com/calcium/
ah, calcium silicate, to be precise. that's half calcium. and the silicate fills in wrinkles so even better for old people not liking all the lines in the mirror
Drives me crazy!! Every freaking doctor, nutrition expert, and book I come across contradicts each other.
I agree
Become your own and listen to how your body reacts to what you take.
He is very correct on iron (non-vegetarian men should not supplement) and copper.
Calcium supplementation is controversial.
I look something up and they want to tell about something else than what I've typed in. You're right. Drives me crazy too.
That's why I take NO pharmaceuticals and only a few vitamin supplements that my doctor says I'm low on (after blood tests confirming it). I plan to live naturally and die naturally and refuse to be a puppet of the medical or pharmaceutical industries.
Although, I wouldn't suggest that you jump off a mountain to test that she is right.
Your hair is grey because of lack of copper........

Yup, Fluoridation, Farming and Nuclear ind. will shorten life for most..
I agree, we are killing ourselves with these things. (or should I say, these companies are killing US)
These companies know what they are doing, but can't let on.
actually , nuclear will give you longer life, google galen winsor

I'm happy for you.
sad truth these days... just cuz someone is a doctor doesn't mean they're right and know everything!

You have to take calcium that your body can absorb. He needs to talk to Dr. Wallach.
This videos should been seen far and wide!

We need vitamin D3 in an oil based emulsion. D3 is oil soluble.

we are like plants
calcium and magnesium are absorbed on the same channel in the intestine
Please please please...
Can Dr Levi explain his statement about copper.
Where is the evidence that we all have too much copper and should stop
supplementing it. We would all be:
(1) very interested.
(2) very grateful for the information.
(3) healthier in the future....
Read any of his books, he explains the calcium and copper issues. Copper plumbing....
However, he is in accurate about the complete vitamin D issue
You're joking ! Quote: "read any of his books".
Do all of his books specify the problem with copper ?
Almost definitely not. Can you specify the book which specifies the problem with copper ?
Don't take Calcium People need Magnesium.. Don't take Iron either..
Docs spot on.. People that are online Supplement experts on UA-cam suddenly
Sam Sam. If you are low on iron, eat kelp( sea weed, nori).

Needs to watch, Dead doctors dont lie by dr Wallach, very good vid to watch.
Vitamin K2!!!
Why, what's about it??
Vitamin "MK-7 K2" is the stuff, you need to combine with D3 (which increases the calcium intake by 30x !) . This is the Vitamin, which act like a "transportation hormone ", and next to other great effects, it`s used in the body, to transport the calcium out of the soft tissues !

with vitamin D or D3.

I'd like to hear Dr. Levy's take on hypoparathyroidism and if those people shouldn't take calcium supplements.
Use Himalayan Pink Salt to get the minerals.
Important - Dr. Levy did make a mistake otherwise he is very correct. he mentions vita K, in fact it is the vita K2 which should have been mentioned.
+ET Himself, exactly, K2 is to make bioactive the protein Osteocalcin, to deposit calcium into the bone matrix, and K2 activates the other protein (that is also dependent on K2, and that is called GLAMatrix to stop calcium from going into arteries and soft tissues. The book should be re-named to " Death by Calicium without Vitamin K2 (mk7). K2 drives calicium into the bones and keeps it from depositing inside the arteries.
Calcium is also needed to bind with oxalates in the body to prevent painful kidney stones.
Vitamin K is a pain in the arse when you're trying to regulate your clotting time while on warfarin.
@@Primalxbeast just take 45 mcg. of K2 if on Warfarin.

Amazing how one Doctor says one thing and another says just the opposite... no wonder people are so confused... THINK FOR YOURSELF!
Powerful and solid information!!!! Thank you!!!
Supplementing copper made me feel about 50x better. I take it every day, now.
What kind do you take? I'm looking for a good brand myself.
STOP THE COPPER INTAKE NOW!
Yep, you need the copper to help iron absorption. Just wait 10 years it'll all change again
Supplements are often toxic However these important vitamins and minerals can be found in vegetables.
I don't understand the rage, he's saying as long as you get the three nutrients from you're diet don't supplement even more. He's not saying avoid iron and calcium at all costs....so what's the rage in comments about?

Calcium deposits only in a dead and degenerated tissue not in healthy tissue, calcium deposits in coronary artery means that indicates they are already damaged by atherosclerosis, oldage, high BP or diabetes, and other degenerative diseases, not due to increased calcium in the blood.that happens only in hyperparathyroidism ,calcium deposits in normal healthy tissue
Excellent info dr thanks.
I take Cal-Mag Butyrate Short Chain Fatty Acid from BODY BIO 6 pills per day as Terminal Lung cancer patient .I am not sure ,how is different from just Calcium only .Please help me to understand more .
I think reading the comical comments are better than this video. lol
Bravo! 🎉 Thank you for the TRUTH!
hmm the only thing he said that was accurate was the calcium
copper you need as a biocide and it is been depleted the iron would be the form you use the supplements from ore source then he would be correct
if from a vege source not an issue and have seen this format save people from severe anemic damage
Tony
Absolutely Right!
Great video, totally agree.
Vitamin d is a hormone. It's been argued that low vitamin d, as well as the other metals can be caused by low magnesium. It acts as the control. Without it there is chaos.
they add calcium carbonate to flour here in the UK ... that's really bad . calcium carbonate ... the body doesn't know hat to do with it .
Vit k 2, boron. And magnesium , vit c is needed for bone health
Hmm. What about the copper IUD?
what if i dont eat milk products, should i take calcium then??
How is sufficiency in any one mineral established ?
Presumably he (Dr Levi) is following the work of others.
Who are these others ?
Silica & K2 are more important imo to supplement.
10/10 spot on ditch the dairy folks
I'll keep the butter you can have cancer/heart disease causing margarine.
The scientist are NOT looking for the CAUSE of things!!!!!!!!!!!
maybe lack of nutrition.
I think he's right going to stop.
Never take Calcium Carbonate... I think this guy made his study on this.. that is why he is wrong.
This Channel is AWESOME 😘😘😘😘
is colostrum a bad calcium?
Yet he does not mention Biotin which was so horrible I thought I was dying until I read the horrible side effects of Biotin and threw it in the garbage bin and drank a lot of water until I was able to move my muscles again, get rid of dizziness, migraine headache (yes one that did not go away) and spacing out just for starters......
As I understand it, most people are copper deficient. Why would it be a toxic supplement? what kind of copper is bad? what kind of calcium is bad? very unclear
I take boron, and have never felt better.
Very interesting
Read the book."Dead doctors don't lie" and only those
Am low on all those mentioned.
From which Caribbean medical school did he get his medical degree?
Hypercalcemia is caused by not taking enough dietary calcium and as such the thyroid overreacts and "robs" calcium from the bones and overloads in the blood. Calcium needs a lot of co factors such as magnesium, zinc, vitamin D3, vitamin K2.
Build strong bones!!!!
TRUTH!
uc 11 collagen helatin and tumeric
WHAT A DINGLEBERRIE
Every time I see this doctor on UA-cam he seems to be aging terribly.. He's completely grey now and still chronically congested.. On the other hand, Dr. Ray Peat who's in his 80's isn't grey, is quite muscular and seems to be getting younger advocates that we should be getting 2 g of calcium daily for optimum health.. Pass the milk please..
Organic calcium vs inorganic calcium. Organic vitamins vs Inorganic vitamins. ''Raw one'' vitamin supplements are the best I've found.
His hair is grey because he's old. The other doctor is using hair dye.
thank God o saw this
Please consider doing more research before you make a final decision on this.
foxy wolf.... Don't jump on his wagon so fast !! Many other Doctors (Naturopaths) have a completely different understanding.
Please do plenty of research before making your decision.
Hi in what way you mean.?
Look up glacier milk it is not from animals.
Oh just great, I just swallowed a Cortisol pill and it contains copper amino acid chelate. I hope I don't die from this. I bought it from DrBerg.com.
Thank you for your vote of confidence in Dr Berg. I just want to make sure with this copper issue.
I take copper in combo with zinc....he didn't say why copper was so bad...
Brenda Courtien very is not a medical doctor! Ffs
This doc. is forgetting to say a whole lot of "things", maybe he just does not want others to know!
what's with all these video producers putting ads in their videos? They're damn annoying.
Would you like to work for NO money ?? I think not, I won't.
what a bunch of bs, 460 problems from lack of calcium. i used to get bonemeal tabs and they worked good. now you need edible diatomacious earth
just eating bone broth soup from pasture raised animals atleast twice a month is the best way to get everything our bones need without a supplement and you get some good meat too! (usually from a chicken)
Vegetables also are a good source but you have to consider absorption rates paleoleap.com/calcium/
d.e has silica not calcium..
ah, calcium silicate, to be precise. that's half calcium. and the silicate fills in wrinkles so even better for old people not liking all the lines in the mirror
i used to get bone meal pills, and they worked great for healing broken bones fast. not made anymore "mad cow
a1hardwood
BONEMEAL??
Sounds cannibalistic to me. ..
So this is information fake or what.. Im i to natural health anyway
This guy knows his shit.
kinda basic knowledge people should know this by now.
Bollocks! LOL
You might want to listen to your own doctor, instead of this quack.
Quack
This guy is a Quack! If you want strong healthy bones, just drink milk everyday. It's not rocket science! lol
