i just got it and its SOOO SMOOTH i used to play on a GSR for years playing csgo and i liked it but it was always a bit slow, this one just feels perfect not too fast not too slow and extremely smooth surface im just annoyed a little bit by the fact that it doesnt lay flat but whatever its not that important

I haven't been able to see many of your videos as of recent cause of work and tbh I usually skip the chinese/less popular brands BUT as someone who works as an assistant editor I notice small changes to your channel lol. I might be crazy but I think your intro is now a fade instead of an increased high pitch sound (where the viper mini shows). Random question but what camera/lens do you use to shoot your closeups of the mousepads?
I use to have the original GSR and sold it eventually cause that thing was way too slow for my liking. Interesting to hear that the new one is more similar to the Saturn Pro. I've been on the Artisan Zero xsoft for a while now and when I want a speed change I pull out the padsmith first war. Anyways, as always I enjoyed the review!

nice review, would have gotten this a year or two back, but now im more used to a faster speed. Like the gsr-se rouge. though not related to the new gsr, how does the speed of gsr-se rouge compare to the saturn pro soft and artisan fx zero soft?

I have the GSR II and original GSR. I don’t live in a high humid environment, just slight humidity. To me, the GSR II feels similar to the GSR but more consistent and less of the mud feeling. But it still feels like a GSR. It doesn’t feel close to the GSR-SE or PA Black to me. It’s also not as fast the EGG EMC as well

@@lucas.alberto.97the se is going to be faster and also has no stitched edges. I haven’t tried gsr but gsr se rouge which is the same as the new gris is very good. Gsr I assume is as good just slower

@@napoleon9591 depending on mouse and skates you use, Saturn pro could be too fast. For me it’s sometimes too fast it’s my main pad rn but I’m not as consistent with it, but it is an amazing pad just might be too fast for me. Gsr se I have the rouge is rly good probably the most consistent in terms of glide and is extremely smooth and easy to be fast but has tons of control. I haven’t tried the gsr 2 but I probably plan to. I’d say any of these options are fantastic and worth trying at least once. Since you play apex too, I’d probably avoid the gsr 2, stick with the gsr se and Saturn pro cuz they’re more balanced in terms of speed.

How did it compare to the EMC from EGG?

In terms of control/speed, to me, the EMC would slot in between GSR II and PA Black. So GSR II still has slightly more static and dynamic friction than EMC making the GSR II slightly slower. But PA Black/GSR-SE overall is a faster pad than EMC

@@tinocabral4201 GSR II is my favorite. I do use the EMC and Artisan Zero extra soft on occasion when I am not performing well with the GSR II on a particular day

I like very slow carpets, but not a viscous swamp, tell me (Zowie G-SR ll will become a little slower over time if I let it be fast for me?, now I’m using an old Cougar carpet because it has become slow over time

I bought one recently. The rubber/chemical smell is really strong and leaves that smell on my hand even after washing the pad and airing it outside for a few days. Has the smell of your pad dissipated or is that smell still present and does it leave that smell on your hand?

no 500 x 500 is a dealbraker for me, and honeslty the only pro for me is the fact its more acessible to buy. For control pads im leaning more to the gamesense radar, and for a little more fluid micro adjustments the zero and saturn are king for me rn. Kind of dissapointed me with how everyone swears by it.
