I'm so glad I watched this video. I had the same exact experience. I used my GSR 1 for a few years, and its very muddy. Got this in the mail and it felt like I was playing on a Artisan zero. I guess I just gotta keep using it to break it in.
Glad I wasn’t the only one. I watched like a dozen reviews(which I barely do) and they were all saying how slow it was but I just wasn’t getting that.

Hello, atm ive had my LGG venus pro for about a year, and its starting to show my cats damage... anyhow, i do love how it feels and the speed and everything actually... i was wondering, because i am looking at the gsr 2, aswell as the superbeings lab momento.... which apparently comes close to lgg venus pro performance, if you have any recommendationss? also i know the gsr 2 is not comparable to the lgg venus pro but it does get my interests up because im a cs2 player XD

Bro, between the Meow Ultrabrake and the Zowie GSR, which one would you recommend for those who play CS and Valorant and prefer a mousepad control with a good stopping power and micro adjustments?

Overtime I see that happening, I put a lot of hours on my gsr 1. Was my only mousepad for like 7 months until I got the Saturn pro.
Good video🙂 🤔 My experience on the saturn pro and G-sr(oldversion) surface. G-sr feels to me slower/ more muddy, even from new. Saturn pro feels more similar to the artisan soft, veil the artisan xsoft feels closer to G-sr. Very similar speed, just a little faster, and only really feels muddy, when pressing down on the pad.
So i'm qurious to see how i feel the updated G-sr 2 will be like🙂
My personal fav and main at the moment is the artisan xsoft.
But i like to try out new mice and different medium/control/slow mousepads or updated versions 😄
So I ordered both the G-sr 2 and the updated G-sr-se (gris)
@Stubbyfps. update on my initial opinion of the new G-SR 2, is that the surface feels smoother/softer than the old, and weave/Stitches are more tightly stitched.
Have to see how the glide will feel like, after the break in periode, if it will feel more or less muddy than the old😄
The G-SR-SE, that is my first of this pad, feels even smoother and on initial movement have a faster glide, yet seem to have the same or almost the same stopping power, and I like that a lot! So far I like these two updated pads😄
@@bergdk237 how long is the break in period? i just got mine and it feels similar to saturn pro
@@vgplay4850 couple weeks to 1 month ish time depending on usage in that time. The break in periode doesn't seem as noticable as with the old Gsr. It seems to keep it's feel, roughly the same. Maybe in 3-6 month it will be more noticable...
Unrelated but for saturn pro do you prefer soft or xsoft? also what mouse feet do you prefer on the saturn pro?
have only tried the xsoft and i cant say i hate it. Really enjoy the pad.

Gsr 2 is slower after it breaks in
Gsrse is overall quicker but still very controlled
I honestly prefer the gsr2, plus the se gris is literally just a grey gsrse

After using it i felt the gsrse rouge is much faster than it needs to be
Going forward i would want pads that are even slower than gsr2 (fast pads are just bad and without any use)
I bought the og gsr because in my country the gsr 2 its double or triple the price
A less muddy Saturn pro is endgame. People are saying new one will be a bit more of a soft than xsoft.
i need to put more hours into my new saturn pro to really tell, but as of now the xsoft just feels like a thicker artisan soft.

I mained jades on the gsr2, was a perfect combo.
I can only buy the ice or corepads, im in europe is a little more difficult

gsr-se is a solid pick up but if you want longevity than i would get the zero soft

Which ever is available, both are very similar.
Plus the essentials Perseus is like $35 and nearly 1:1 to the Saturn pro.
Hello, I am thinking about purchasing ZOWIE G-SR, ZOWIE G-SR II, ZOWIE G-SR-SE, LOGITECH G640 or Artisan Ninja FX Zero Xsoft. I'm a csgo player and I can't decide which one to choose. Could you show me some path? I'm still thinking about Artisan, but I'm discouraged by its lack of availability where I live. Import only.
DONT GO WITH G-SR-SE OR G640 UNLESS YOU GOT BANK TO KEEP BUYING NEW ONES THEY ARE NOT DURABLE
@@Mal0717 what about ZOWIE G-SR or ZOWIE G-SR II is there any difference in them? Personally, I don't see ZOWIE G-SR II anywhere in stores. As for Artisan Ninja FX Zero Xsoft, is this pad really worth the price and waiting time? We are talking strictly about CSGO now CS2. In CS2, it rather needs precision. I use 400 dpi and 2.0 sens.
if you have the patience the artisan zero is the BEST in that list.
the gsr 2 is a solid pick up since its still really controlled and good against humidity.
If you want some more options, the Quaoar Perseus and Hercules are really nice pads, you can pick up the essentials version for like $35. Prob my favorite releases to date.

I’m aware that the zero is a little faster and more of a balanced pad whilst the Saturn Pro leans towards control but not full control?
Can you get the default glide back after it slows down?
Not sure, haven’t tried cleaning it yet since it’s not that dirty.
@@stubbyfpsfrom what I remember zowie has a vid showcasing how to clean their mouse pads but the gsr they say is to just use a lightly wet cloth on top. How did you clean your gsr 1 back then?

rizz is miles slower, second slowest pad I've ever tried.

@@stubbyfps i bought new gsr 1 after previuos one just got unplayable after sweat from my wrist, I feel like it takes a few weeks to make it slow. I use gpx superlight and xtrfy m4 and I feel like mouse skates take a big part in that
