- Hey everyone, welcome back to part 2 of my review of the ZOWIE G-SR II! Now today we're gonna do a much more in-depth review of the G-SR II, see how this pad preformed over testing, see if ZOWIE has managed to fix the issues that the G-SR I suffered from as well as follow up on a couple things I noted in my unboxing video! I have used this pad for like 2 months, and I'm still learning from your video 🤣 love the content mel0n
Compared to Artisan Zero Classic XSOFT, this pad is even softer and smoother. I thought I would have much more stopping power, but it's very fine weave (you almost can't feel it) and stopping power is right at where I want it :)

How does this compare to the GSR SE Rouge?
this mousepad might be very slow when you do certain things, but it truly can still work for everything, however if you need a pad that's meant for speed the glorious air is a great choice which is why you should review it
Honestly I'm shocked at your commitment to this. Can you even buy the air anymore?
Had this pad for 2 weeks, humidity resistance is not good especially in a humid country and sweaty hands.
Bro i feel thats every pad. I live in a humid af country and literally every pad i own slows down. We just gotta wash more often.
How do Vaxee PA and the G-SR series compare?
PA has a softer surface material but is a harder pad overall, GSR II has a harder surface material but is softer overall & has a stitched edge.
GSR II also has significantly better moisture absorption than the VAXEE PA.

I’ve been on a speed pad for a while and noticed, that my aim got really inconsistent and I felt uncomfortable playing. I just ordered it hopefully this will fix that.
Speedpads are tricky, I usually find I have to up my cm/360 from 40cm/360 to around 60-70cm/360 to be consistent on them, very hard to be consistent on speedpads on low sens. This pad will likely feel much better though!
@@mel0nFPSyeah i do prefer low sens aswell. The aim on the speed pad was kinda „floaty“ and the stopping power wasnt all that. Thank you for that well made review of that pad. I was thinking of getting that or the LGG Saturn pro but i went with the Zowie :). Btw ill be fine with my GPW with corepads on that pad right?
I've washed my pad with mild detergent to get rid of the smell, it helped a tiny bit but not much. Guess I have to live with the smell until (if) it dissipates.
it does dissipate after a while, zowie uses a weird tar in their plastic mix
I was a die hard gsr enjoyer for a long time. Eventually they just get too muddy in southern ontario humidity for me.
I'm actually from southern Ontario too and the G-SR II is WAY better in terms of the humidity resistance than the previous G-SR's! I talk more about the humidity resistence at 08:03. If you can get your hands on one in Canada for a decent price maybe give it another shot!

What skates would you recommend for a Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 on this pad
Hey! Honestly anything but the stocks, Corepads are solid, XrayPad Jade/Obsidinas are also very sold (my main skates).
I bought zowie gsr2 4 months ago, it was very smooth but from last few days it feeling so sturdy and my mouse glide is so inconsistent and slowed down, i tried washing it 2 times but it still feels the same. Is there anything i can do to make it smooth again ?
That's odd, is is possibly your mouse skates causing issues?
@@mel0nFPS idk like i bought mouse and mousepad together same 4 months ago, my mouse is lamzu atlantis OG v2 so i dont this skate is a problem. I guessed humidity must be a problem but idk, there’s one thing i noticed is some place of mousepad is smooth like corners and some places where i dont glide my mouse too much
has there been any update on the durability of the pad?
Hi! I've used the pad a couple times between other reviews and the surfacing has held up perfectly! No issues or slow spots developing so far.
this or the Artisan Zero Soft ?
I haven’t actually used the Zero Soft yet, been meaning to try it and the other Artisan pads but haven’t had the chance to use em yet, sorry!
@@mel0nFPS my GSRII arrived yesterday, and so far its way better than the Artisan Zero.
the zero's got a scratchy feeling with my GPX stock feet, and even after i got the TigerIceV2 i had some issues, but the GSRII, man this is the softest thing ive ever tried.

i hated the first g-sr because of the way it shipped. You should not roll a semi plastic mousepad.
Agreed, if the G-SR 1 & 2 were flat packed they’ve be significantly better

I haven''t tried the egg EM-C sadly so I can't compare them accurately. Sorry!
