Great video! Thanks. I have bought sway bar links which can be disconnected for offroad and I have clunk noise when wheels are eitrer full left or right, because it collides with steering knuckle. So I need to correct swaybar position. Hope this helps. Also I suggest to replace the loctited bolt to allen hex head bolt. You can easily tighten then...
@@LiftKitCoffee Hey are you able to turn on tipping / super thanks on your youtube channel? I like to send a tip to people that have helped me out! - Fixed by sway bar bracket last night with a rivet nut - many thanks!
Good video thanks. I’d just say I’d go and get a bolt for the one that you loctited on with the same sized head instead because if anyone tries to remove that in the future it’ll be impossible
Thank you. Yes, I need to do something there. The rivet nut needed to fill the stripped factory mount forced me up a bolt size, which meant a larger head size. I forget what size the bolt ended up being but I basically need to replace with a "mini" head bolt or I need to consider sizing up the relocation block's countersink so I can get a socket on it properly.
@@LiftKitCoffee Hey, got the kit in and installed yesterday. So I am wondering the kit came w/ 6 bolts, 4 of same length, 2 of longer length. So I am wondering what are the 2 longer bolts used for? I re-used the factory bolts to mount the spacer to the frame, and then the 4 short bolts for the sway bar. Any ideas?
Lots of options for tightening that oversized replacement bolt. I would have bought a buttonhead bolt instead, but you could cut a slot in it and use flathead screwdriver...
Love listening to the FE-2UZ V8 muscle around. Totally agree. Awesome machine. The Mud Bog Blend is my French Roast, dark, oily and a bold, strong cup o’ coffee. Thanks for asking!
Appreciate what you are doing, hard to find 4th gen DIY videos! Also love the combination, my two favorite interests, coffee and 4runners!
Thanks Sean!
Intro is visually neat. And now I know how to gain additional clearance for a sway bar. TY!
Thanks for the vote up on the intro Bobh28630!
Intro is great your doing an awesome job keep up the good work
Thanks Jose! Appreciate the feedback.

The hex head bolt is a great idea! Thanks!
Thanks for the video. Very helpful.
You're welcome! Best.
Hey do you have a link to the rivet nut tool you bought? I just did the same thing - broke the spot welded nut off inside the frame
@Dougfunk01 You can get it at Harbor Freight or Amazon. Here's the HF link: www.harborfreight.com/10-in-professional-rivet-nut-setter-kit-58078.html

@@dougfunk01 That's a very kind gesture. How about you pay it forward to someone next time you're at the drive thru instead? All the best!
I think you might need spacers under frame mounts
Did it work? Did it dump the clunk?
Hi Chris. I haven't had a chance to take it out someplace to bump it around yet. I'll keep you posted.
Let us know asap my man
@@timothyandrewnielsen Yes, it did! The tolerances between the swaybar end link and the coilover were just too tight. The relocation did the trick.

You said you cross thread one of the holes and I was wondering what size rivnut did you use cause I’ve cross thread mine as well.
Sorry to hear that, but the Rivnut tool is a lifesaver. I'm pretty sure it was a size 10.
After putting on the hardware, did you have a chance to take it out and see if it corrected the problem?
nvm, saw your response to the other comment....ordered the kit for my 4R
Yes, and it did!

@@sethdunn96, I had the extra bolts left over as well. I think the kit fits several vehicles and it's in there for those applications.
@@LiftKitCoffee That makes sense. Thank you.

That's helpful. Thanks for the tips!
Just curious if u ever ended up installing the extended sway bar link ends that came with the freedom off-road coil overs
Hi Jesse. I did not. Someone else commented, and it makes sense, that they are used when you use the coil overs for 3 or more inches of lift.
Hmmm you should of used allen head bolt on stripped one.
Would you mind providing a link to or name of the company that sells this product? I will be needing the same thing here soon.
Hi Taylor. Great idea! I've added the link to the video description.
Hello!! What size of threaded rivet did you insert?
It's been awhile but I think it was a 10mm.
Thank you!
Hi i have a 2003 4runner 8v 4v4 special edition silver awesome machine

I want to buy this for my hilux revo.
Julius, it’s a solid, budget-friendly choice.

What size is that rivet nut?
Sorry friend, I'm not 100% sure but I think it was an M10. Here's the tool I bought: smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T8YZY23
the frame bolts shoulda been allen bolts..... why in the hell don't manufacturers think of that.
Good question.
What size is the bolts?
The relocation bracket won't let me drop a socket on it to be sure, but it looks like a 15mm.
