  • IN this video:
I will be swapping-out the battery in my 2007 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 Street Bike. The Battery I bought was on sale for $95.00 w/tx at Malcolm Smith Motorsports in Riverside, California.
The longest I keep a battery in my GIXXER for is between 3 to 4 years, so getting 3.8 years from this one battery is not too bad. I knew it was getting ready to go out a few months ago when my FI [Fuel Injection light] came on at start up. That is usually a pretty good sign that the battery is not able to hold a charge and help supply the power to maintain the volts to run the injectors. Every single time a battery starts to go out on my bike it is the same exact scenario, plus the slow starting is also a sign too.
There will also be a video clip strip of pictures of my bike and a few Bloopers so be sure to stay for those.
    Thanks for watching
    Paul Henderson

So I guess with the $9700 and a $3400 that's less than a $1000 a year for 15 years doesn't seem so bad when you look at it that way.
On my 1989 Pontiac firebird Trans am I had for 23 and 1/2 years I spent $30,000 on fuel. And check this out on my 2006 Silverado that I bought in 2012 I had it for 7 years and I spent $18,000 on fuel. I guess I work to pay for gas dang. How many people can say they keep track of their gas got to make you sick when you think about it. Sometimes I wonder if you're cheaper just to Uber
