ford fiesta misfire detected

- customer came in with a misfire on cylinder 3. you can have the best scanners on the market but as I call them my sat nav as they will get you to where the fault is but not always find you the right cause of the fault so you have to have some good old fashioned mechanical knowledge!!!!! in this case I was unaware that the customer had been topping up with coolant and as you can see the actual fault was a headgasket failure....

Need help or suggestion so i got a 2009 ford fiesta 1.2l and the car had a misfire but i thought it would just be coil pack and leads, so i got a new set to put it in but when opened it looked like it had a new coil pack. So i pressure tested them and cylinder 3 theres no compression at all. Whats the problem here? Its done 98k miles so far
Hey, I'm late, but when you had the boroscope on the cylinder. How did you check for that leak. Did you pressurize the coolant reservoir tank?
Yes I used a pressure kit
Head gasket gone in 32k wow
Yep water pump failed and customer been topping it up with water for a long time and it had just got to hot.. in the middle of uploading the actual headgasket replacement should be up soon
