Regular Motorcycle Reviews: 2015 Yamaha WR450F Supermoto - The 17,000 Mile Dirt Bike

This is a very short review of my 2015 WR450 supermoto converted. I bought the bike brand new and have had it for about 6 years. I really appreciate the WR's because they have a good reputation for being reliable motorcycles. It's not uncommon for these bikes to go over 25,000 miles without being rebuilt. I have even read a handful of posts of people clamming they have over 35,000 miles on the stock piston which to me that is REALLY IMPRESSIVE. IMO the WR450 is a much better buy than a DRZ 400 because they are half the weight with more power and they are just as reliable.
My only complaint is the 5 speed transmission, I really do think these bikes would be much better with a close ratio 6speed like the KTM's
