- THE DAY IS FINALLY HERE!!!!! Today I proudly introduce the new bike I've been hyping up for months! Ive had this bike ordered since Christmas time and it just finally came in last week!
That being said this wasn't the final product I had in mind for a video but anytime I try to plan something it goes horribly wrong. I planned on this being very different but I tried to make it work with what I had. I hope you guys enjoy. Many more 450 videos to come...

Also the biggest thing abt the WR says it in the name is the Transmission it has a wide ratio gear box makes it feel way better than any other 450 IMO

I put a stock yz450f exhaust on it and it’s a world of difference in power and sound ! Way better than stock pipe
I stripped the exact same bolt but I thought it was because I'd already gotten my into it, I just used a hacksaw blade and made it in to a flat head to use a screwdriver

Great video man! 👍 did you take out the throttle stop screw yet? That makes the biggest difference when "uncorking" new WR models giving you full throttle range.

1:40 you need cut one bolt "throttle stopper" it's on carb., right now you have only like 3/4 throttle available

Did you remove and shorten the throttle stop bolt so you get full use of the throttle? I ordered the same motorcycle but I also ordered the competition ECU so I can program the bike with a smart phone. That will give me the same performance as the FX model.
I took the throttle stop out but I think I still need that ecu

Hell Yha WRs are more then worth the money I’ve got a 2023 250f fully uncorked with the competition ECU and CCU the same thing happened to me but it’s okay I also got a bigger baffle the gytr racing baffle it’s sick the bike rips
Did you ride it with the snorkel bong looking thing in the air box? Was there much difference with it in? Looking forward to future content wit this bike as it needs more attention it deserves 👍
I did but didn’t get it on camera. Removing it just gave it some more down low power, arguably making the exhaust issue worse

Slow? Relative to what? I'm looking for a road legal off-roader. My background is old school 2 strokes. Couple of YZ250s and a KTM 300EXC and a 250EXC.
I am not clued up on modern bikes really as I've not ridden for over a decade either on or off road.
I hear WR450s are quite restricted, fresh from the factory. But I'm wondering, if given my experience with 2 strokes, both pure MX and enduro, a standard WR450 will satisfy.

I have about decided that this will be my next bike. I was looking at the KTM 690 enduro r, but i think this may be a better choice
I like the 690's but they're wide and heavy!
I love my 2023. It's on about 5000 miles now and the only issue I've had with it is the speedo stopped working after a crash. If you increase the fueling in the map slightly it seems to fix the stalling and hot start issues (I'm also running advanced timing though). Do you know if they softened the suspension on the 2024? My 2023 is rock hard even with the clickers all the way out. Too much damping at the top of the stroke so you feel every rock.
I've actually never rode a wr450 other than mine so I couldn't really compare but with the dampening set to as soft as possible it felt like a pillow coming down

Have u unrestricted the bike yet cause that’s what I did took the baffle out and the snorkel In air box and also put a smaller throttle stop screw and I noticed the change in power instantly
