cant wait to see inside that engine. I bet it could've gone another hundred hours or more. Why are you going race tech for your suspension? I saw the Suspension 101 forks, George seems to know his stuff well. why switch? Have you had Suspension 101 give you a complete setup? Or did they just rebuild the fork? If you let them do a complete setup, I'm sure you'd be happy. Would be fun to hear how suspension 101 compares to race tech.
Cool vid. Your channel is underrated. I see on your older videos you use Shell Rotella triple 15w40 engine oil on both 4 & 2 stroke bikes. So i can use this cheaper option on my 2stroke ?
as one of the others said, was the bike raced or trail ridden before you got it? Will be interesting to see the condition of the cam surfaces, rings, piston and bore.
My neighbors YZ450F has about 150. He cruises his bike and I GP Raced it 2x. I'm checking the valves and calling it good for this season. 👌 Next time it's getting the top done. Very strong engines.
@@casmitherz Good to hear although I did see one that dropped a valve and destroyed the engine at 30 hours on the owners page so now I'm paranoid about maintenance 😬
Here we have a new cool project.
Waiting for the next scenes.
Cheers.
thanks brother, appreciate it!
Spray "Simple Green" on that wiring harness, rinse it off, and see the difference!!
Looking for the follow up videos!
Hi,
Can i uns the powertuner on a bonestock 2014 wr450f?
With the stock ecu.
Can i tune the stock ecu?
No, as far as I know stock ecu is locked
Nice project. I have a 2012 WR450 and following you closely. Do you know where I can purchase the engine tuner 33D-H59C0-V1-00.
Not sure where, probably ebay at this point.. yamaha might not be selling it anymore. Good luck 👍
What the heck! - I'm getting ready to go pull the engine from my friends 08 WR450 right now =]
haha, have fun bro!
Not a problem. Out, fixed and back in, same day. 🤙🔧🔧 All good boss.
I’m sure this bike will run way better than it did before there is a lot of parts.👀
I sure hope so!

I always work with Racetech, maybe something to look into.
Hello again :)

thanks brother!

thanks man, yes I use it in all the dirtbikes I have. Great oil for 2 and 4 strokes. Have fun!
I have almost 600 hours on my ktm 500 exc-f and not thinking about opening engine yet :)
right on! thats a lot of happy miles!
High torque, low revs ^_^ last forever.
Finally 🔥
exactly! ;)

I dont think it was raced, I knew 2 of the former owners and non of them did
cool, I'd then suggest she'd be in pretty good nick then if they kept her filled with fresh oil. Looking forward to the rebuild, cheers.@@dirtniron
Glued to your page for this series of videos!
right on, should be fun!
Was this bike raced or casual ridden? My 2022 WR450F is on 100 hours at the moment.
