YES to a purple mega palette!! One with lots of blue based purples and not just the warmer red/pink based purples. I would buy that in a heartbeat
A graduated blend from a red purple side to a blue purple side, light to dark. I would buy it so fast☺️

Yup. True violets (equal parts red and blue) and blue-violets (more blue than red) with only some red-violets (aka purples) is what I’d love, too.
I can't deal with all the browns in every palette.
I would break my no buy in an instant. 😂 Between Bare Necessities, Nude Mood and Blush Crush, I’m cover on neutrals.
Dear Amanda, I might not have expressed this enough, but a huge thank you for all the effort you put into swatching dupes for all of us to see. I know it's not that easy but please don't ever get tired of it. You're the only one I refer to in making decisions whether or not to splurge on another Colourpop palette or just save the money because I already "have" these colors in my collection. Thank you.
I love Colourpop. Love. And while I think their quality is so much better, the consistent dupeing of themselves is starting to remind me of Morphe before their popularity took a nosedive. 😞I hope they snap out of it. I would even be ok with dupes (or straight up reuse of shades) if they were placed in interesting, curated collections rather than big monocromatic shade dumps. The lippies though...😍
Waiting for a mega palette with cool tones purple, blue, and green. And absolutely no pink lol but yes we need more color in our mega palettes.

I’m the person this palette is perfect for! The only dupe palette I own that you showed is That’s Taupe. I never pulled the trigger on the stone cold fox palette and this makes me glad I waited. 98% of my eyeshadow looks include shimmer, so this palette makes me very excited!💜
Same, I've been wanting going coconuts and stone cold but never got them and this one is both and SALE right now and it's a steal!
Am I the only make-up lover who loves pressed glitter!!! Makes me feel so pretty when I top my look off with a tap of ColourPop's pressed glitter 💖.
This palette pleasantly surprised me. It's a more sparkly version of the Stone Cold Fox palette.
As someone who doesn’t own any of the mega palettes and very few other palettes I am tempted by this as it has a nice variety from them - also as a geologist the names are really temping me haha

Totally agree! A 💜PURPLE💜 Mega palette would be the things dreams are made of; but I fear it would just be a bunch of hot pinks masquerading as purples like most "purple palettes" are.
I'd also be happy with a mega palette of all dusky, muted (ie, everyday wearable) shades set up in a spectrum of murky colors (blue, green, grey, plum, etc).
A smaller Olive green ("Olive Ya A Lot"?) and a foggy Grey-blue palette would also be appreciated.

My most favorite thing about their palettes are the pressed glitters!! I probably shouldn’t buy another mega palette but it looks so good 😭😭 altho looks like something everyone has already own 😂
How do you use them tho ? Adhesive ? Brush ? Finger ? How do you remove them without getting them everywhere ?
@@benguercho1363 they don’t get everywhere for me ☺️ I use my finger (with no adhesive)!! But to be safer, I should!!!

I feel the only way for colourpop to come out with palettes as fast as they do, they almost have to use shades already created for past palettes.

They ought to offer a wider range of singles. There are a bunch I’ve hit pan on in palettes, but they’re not available as singles and I’m not about to buy a whole palette for one or two colors.
@@Robin-no8cu agreed…but then they’d have people buying those instead of their palettes and they’d need to actually come up with new shades to put in their palettes to get people to buy them 🤪

I use pressed glitters to add to my nails alot of the time I even take them out of pallates and put them in their own palette.
I was already interested in the new lip products but after seeing these swatches I NEED them! I love that you did 1 swipe and built up swatches, really helpful as always ❤️

I just love collecting Colourpop. I have all the mega palettes, and use them not just for myself, but when I do makeup on others. The packaging alone makes them my favorite. Though I do agree that they need to do something different from time to time.

I LOVE your reviews and I totally understand the frustration that the colors are the same, but as someone who really doesn't have any ColourPop eyeshadow palettes, I'm SUPER excited because I love Stone cold fox and Bare necessities, but I didn't want to buy them both and I LOVE glitter, so this is PERFECT for me! I love your honesty!

This was so helpful - When I saw this palette for the first time I instinctively knew I didn't need it because I have Stone Cold Fox and Bare Necessities, but I still felt a pull. But seeing it all swatched out really killed the temptation for me. :P Thank you.
Love the sweater, the nails and the eye look! I actually don't own any mega palette except Its A Mood, so having the best of multiple palettes is tempting to me. However I have lots of neutrals and mauves already. It is super pretty tho! And the lippies are just the sort of tinted balm type thing I love! Thank you Amanda! Killed it as usual!

As somebody who wanted all of the smaller 9 pan palettes shown here but got none of them, and neither ended up buying stone cold fox nor the bare necessities palettes as a non US resident, this one....is the most PERFECT neutral palette for me and also my tan skintone!!!! I love the colour rows and that there are a variety of finishes, including glitters! The more saturated yet muted tones enhance my skintone rather than making me look dead lol. I understand that repeat color stories is frustrating for the CP collectors but any one of them clones could end up being a HG for many people like me. Waiting for my palette now, i hope i like it, the first ever from CP!!

I would be interested in a video using the Rock Candy pallet on one eye and a re-creation of the look using the comparison pallets on the other. I think it would be helpful to those of us with multiple comparison pallets to see how to use them together to get the same or similar results.

Another mega palette- they must be selling well. I do really like it when they arrange the shades in columns. They did that in Making Mauves, and I love it. Of course, that also means I only make three looks with that palette, but they always look lovely!
Not buying the palette. I already have the shades I'm attracted to in it, and pressed glitters are a big no. I think if I do buy a mega palette, it would be the smoke and roses palette.

Yeah I have Smoke N Roses, Going Coconuts, and Blowin’ Smoke. I’m good lol I do want some of those lips though! I used one of the blotted lips the other day and I was surprised it barely transferred throughout the day, even though I was eating some messy food lol
They need to make a spring version of the It’s a Mood palette, which I see as more of a fall palette. I would also love a mega purple palette!

Already have all these colors in my other Colourpop palettes, and if there's glitter in any of my palettes, I dig it out and discard. Rock candy is a pass for me, at least for now, but of course when they have their next good sale, I'll probably pick it up along with the matte mega palette. The look you created is gorgeous, though! Wish they'd come out with a nice cool toned purple palette. The shades in the Amethyst palette look so beautiful, but I've been dissuaded from picking it up due to the lackluster reviews. The lipsticks are very pretty, might consider them. I picked one of the blotted lipsticks up recently, beautiful shade ("Kate"), but OMG what a funky smell it has, almost petroleum like, I wonder if I got a dud?! Anyhow, as always, thank you, Amanda, for another in-depth, awesome review!

You are the best. I do not need a mega palette but I was considering buying this & It's a mood (for the jewel tones) & swapping the colors I like to 1 palette (I still may on sale one day). But I have same or better for the colors I'm most drawn to like that pink that's in making mauves, all the shiny silvers are in blown smoke. I wouldn't use the terracotta or anything leaning orange or warm shades. I don't have that's taupe (like it but not sure I need it now) but I did just get of quartz & mandalorian & have baroque.
I am drawn to the name also, I picture a pinky purply silvery shimmer just like you did on your lids.
I def want to try the glowing lips. I think I like girl please best, I would wear status too. Just going to get 1 next time I order. I can't believe how many new lip products have come out & I've bought 1 during the pandemi and still masking so can't wear them out :(
Wow, I’m not a huge fan of pressed glitters or mattes with glitter but I feel like this pallet is giving me Tati Beauty Textured Neutrals Volume 1 vibes. Different tones, but each row has a similar set up in different finishes. I also really love your eye look. However, I already own Bare Necessities, Stone Cold Fox, and Smoke N Roses-so I’m not sure why I would ever buy this. 🤷♀️ Thanks Amanda!
Out of all your comparisons I only have stone cold fox and smoke n roses, so I’m tempted to pick this up. I like the rock candy theme but not a fan of the pressed glitters.

I was looking at the lip swatch part of the video but I kept looking at your eyes instead! I have been irritated that my eyebrows are thickest in the middle and I never noticed before that yours are the same. For some reason this makes me feel less stressed about mine, I guess other people don’t notice my the flaw in my brows either :)

This was such a great comparison video!!! I found you after googling rock candy vs stone cold fox. I don't have any colorpop pallets (I know! 😅) so which would you recommend? Between rock candy, bare necessities, and stone cold fox? I could go for cool or warm tone, so whatever you think is most versatile
