I got mine removed yesterday, I have a 22 year old daughter and a 11 year old son. I’m 44 and didn’t want to take a chance of getting pregnant ever again. So thanks for making this video
I’m 44 and seriously considering this. I absolutely do not want to get pregnant and I feel like I may have been too old for the procedure but still get periods. Thank you for this comment.
@@caseycoleman394 No. Your cycle is still intact. An egg is released from the ovary and the lining in your uterus still thickens in preparation to receive the egg. It's just that the egg never makes it to your uterus because the fallopian tubes have been cut. It's reabsorbed instead and your uterine lining still sheds giving you a period.
Thank you for discussing the reason behind why there are so many videos about negative recoveries. I know it logically, but it's good to be reminded. Makes me feel better!
Getting mine out tomorrow!! So glad you have an update because I seen your first video but now after seeing your second I feel more comfortable about all the questions I’ve been having
So happy I found your videos! I watched the 1st video of you explaining the process and this one and they both have given me a lot of relief. I am a mom of 4 with my youngest being 14 months, 3,5&7. I am so READY to get this done because it feels like me and hubby are playing Russian roulette every time we come together & I don’t got time for no oopsy! My surgery is scheduled at the end of this month(July). I go to pre op 2 days before the surgery. This is my 1st experience getting anesthesia, so that’s the only nerve wrecking part I’m going through.
I am getting mine removed in January 2024. I have been researching if there are any negatives, like the negatives from getting your tubes tied. I am 33, and I have 1 daughter. One and done for me. Premenopausal runs early in my family, starting in the early 30s, and I feel like I am already going through it. I have been looking for other women's experiences because I have had someone try to scare me out of it because of what they saw/read for the tube tying. She's scared of everything, though.
They asked about vaginal dryness, reduction in libido and early menopause because a lot of women experience that after this surgery. You no longer have the same blood flow to your ovaries once your tubes are cut or removed. This can cause a disrupt in proper hormone production. Glad you haven’t dealt with any of these adverse effects.
Girl, you are lucky! I have Stage IV endometriosis and went in to get fibroids removed via a myomectomy, lost a tube and my life was destroyed. The previous doctor spent so much time “ungluing” my organs that he couldn’t get to the 11 fibroids I had. I picked an undereducated, ignorant doctor for the second surgery who cut my left tube out after doing a procedure I TOLD HER NOT TO DO. I stopped getting a cycle, had hot flashes, aged so fast that family members don’t recognize me (my photo is from before I was botched), gained 35 pounds in three months (went up four breast sizes from the hormone imbalance), severe migraines when I’m supposed to ovulate (I don’t do that anymore either). I never got to have kids, and I have to take a prescription to get a period. Full-out menopause symptoms. I was 36. My migraine doctor said messing with tubes can throw a woman into perimenopause or even menopause. I hate that doctor to this day and will never forgive her. She changed the whole trajectory of my life being scalpel happy. There’s no such thing as malpractice in my state, so all I can do is hope she rots.
I just got my tubes removed 2 days ago & after 3 kids it was the best decision I’ve made for myself, I thought it would be painful but no they literally put a oxygen mask on me next thing I know I’m waking up in recovery w/a pain level of 2 I’m walking out of there, the only painful thing was my shoulder pain from the gas they put in me other than that it wasn’t bad🙃
This was the first video I clicked on searching tubal removal and I’m glad I came across it.. Thank you for sharing your experience and some of the questions were pretty good.. Friday coming will make a month since I’ve done mine and I don’t regret it at all.. I had plenty of people trying to talk me out of it but once my mind is made up, that’s it.. I’m 32 and just had my second son.. I could not imagine birthing anymore children especially because my deliveries were a bit traumatic having c sections.. During the second C-section I got my doctor to complete the operation so I didn’t have to go through a separate recovery period.. One of the best long term decisions I’ve made for myself and family..
I’m so glad I came across your video. I wish I would’ve seen it sooner. I got my tubes removed today and before hand I was so nervous about doing it. Like I was starting to talk myself out of it. However I have 3 children already and I feel you on the free part lol.
I was the same girl, I kept saying what if you want one one it’ll be to late but then I kept saying no I think we’re done I have my 2 boys & finally got blessed w/my baby girl that’s I wanted now I’m complete so I went ahead w/the procedure & it was the best choice I’ve made
@@edithalexandra_31Hi, I am going to have my 3rd soon. And thinking of getting this done. Any side effects for you in longer run and how was the recovery?
I was going to get mine done after my second. I was 28 and my doctor said that I may regret it. At the time I was sure I wanted it because of my then 4 year marriage I felt id end up a single mother. I was technically living like one married to that particular man. I left him and some years later met a really good man and he wanted little ones. I told him how I almost had mine clapped. He had no little ones. Well now im pregnant with my 4th and have already signed consent forms to get mine removed. So I went on for research. Before your videos I watched this other lady's video and she had be second guessing out of fear. I know I dont want anymore. Then I found your video talking about the experience and once again I am on board and unafraid. I know everyone's experience is different but I still got comfort from your video. And I wanted to know the after math and once again you came through. Thanks queen this was so helpful
I’m ready to get mines removed after my baby. I’m 28 and this is my second pregnancy and I’m suffering from HG horribly. I would love to have more kids but don’t want to get pregnant again. Thank you for this video. It helped me reach my decision to get my tubes removed. I’m about to have my third csection. I really don’t want to go through that again. My pregnancies have been pretty hard on my body and the csections haven’t made it any easier. I’m 3 and done
Makes me so sad about the lady with 5 kids that was denied! Women need to write letters to their doctors and tell them they will be liable for taking care of that child if they get pregnant after the doctor denies them tubal ligation lol these people are crazy.
That’s crazy she should of went to a different hospital because I think a woman has the right to choose whether she’s done having kids or not especially after a certain amount

Did you have to go under general anesthesia?
Yes you do .
I'm thinking about it and I DON'T WANT NO MORE KIDS. I DON'T MISS DIAPERS ALL THAT
Do u recommend c section tube removal or laproscopy
Can you get pregnant with your tubes cut and tired

I love my son even tho i wanted a girl first but happy with him....Im not about to have all those kids hell no power to the ones who just let men do them any type of way to their bodies 😂😅😅..... Single mom and will be free again soon 😂.... Life goes on if i want kids ill just go through adoption from a infant
Tied or removed? 2 different things.
Removed
Tubes actually don't get "tied" in general, it's just an old statement that's stuck around. Eek lol .
Laziness??
