I Moved To Da Nang Vietnam. Here's Why

- I moved to Da Nang Vietnam from Ho Chi Minh City and the differences are night and day with air quality, traffic, noise level, and pace of living.
If you like the fast pace city life it doesn't get much faster than Ho Chi Minh. You will be on your toes any time you step out into the streets and have to constantly be on the look out for people and traffic. A good state to compare this to in The United States would be New York. The worst thing about Ho Chi Minh by far is the pollution in this awesome city. It's a shame to have such a wonderful place be filled with smoke and smog everyday.
Da Nang however is a lot slower pace of living without being a completely rural area. Da Nang offers a healthy balance of traffic, noise, and pace of living. Not to mention you have direct access to the beach which ads to the difference in air quality here in Da Nang. If you like to have a little bit of breathing room while living in a quieter city/suburb environment then Da Nang is a fantastic option for you.

Do whatever you think you should do. That's what the universe wants you to do. Several decades later, you might understand the profound meaning of this.
Agreed 100%
proud of the growth my brother! keep going!
Makes me feel good to make you proud bro. Love you Jimmy. Take a deep breath of that Florida air for me!
Da Nang is an awesome choice bro! 👍 Lived there for 2 years and next door in Hoi An for another 2. Take the train to Hue or drive through the mountains when you get the chance
I'm glad you enjoyed your stay here! I will be leaving for Nha Trang tomorrow by train, so I will have to visit the mountains in Da Nang soon! They are very beautiful.
I'm going to be there in 10 days. Excited!
Enjoy your journey and be safe. Glad you will be here.
wow, you must be there now! enjoy!
Thank you! Vietnam is great@@Tathlon1
I comment before wathcing it, fresh air, beautiful beach and low price as well.
peacefully place without many noisy on the street or karaoke at night :).
Yes all of this is true in comparison to Ho Chi Minh.
How is the dating scene from your experience in Da Nang?
You definitely made the right move moving to Da Nang. I could tell you were a little disappointed with Saigon. Big question is did you get a teaching job in Da Nang? I know a lot of ESL teachers in Da Nang need usually 3 years experience to get a job. Keep up the good honest work. Greatly appreciated, great channel.
Thanks for watching my content Eric. No I did not get a job teaching English here I have not applied anywhere in Da Nang. I have heard the same seeing as most people want to teach here due to the quality of life compared to the big city
good luck. Hope u will come to Hanoi soon
Cuong I don't think I will come to Hanoi but never say never.
Check out Vung Tau as well T.O. nice slow pace there as well. Not too touristy either for a coastal beach town.
Paul what's up bro! Vung Tao is on the list for sure. I'm headed to Nha Trang tonight I heard it's on the safe vibe with a slower pace and not as many tourists. Love you bro!
Do you notice Non- Vietnamese tourists in Da Nang.. or are they mostly Vietnamese families visiting the beaches of Da Nang ?
There are a TON of non Vietnamese tourists in Da Nang. From all over. Lots of Russians, lots of Koreans, lots of people from the UK, Lots of people from America. It is a melting pot. This goes for Nha Trang as well.
Pollution sickens, kills and creates climate change. Nice video.
Did you get health insurance or are you planning to get Vietnamese health insurance. .
I got travel insurance through safety wing which covers health insurance for expats. about $46.00 USD/month
👍💛
as someone who lives in new york, i love da nang but it too slow paced for me xD its great but ho chi min is more enjoyable for me
You are spot on. Ho Chi Minh is definitely where the noise and fast pace of living are! Both are great places depending on what you want out of your surroundings
i was interested in asia, but afher watching youtube i changed my mind , to noizy
It all depends on where you go my friend. Do some research on more rural spots. Any country has noisy and quiet spots it's just a matter of finding what suits your lifestyle.
not really, korean and russian in DaNang as well, big community.
Yes I agree I have seen many Korean people and Russian people. I am from American so I enjoy being away from Americans. There are many cultures here it is a melting pot.
I want to move there for 3 days
Do it then!
thank god you don't come to Hanoi LOL.
Da nang has nothing over Nga Trang. But if you want to eelax, Son La or Lao cai provinces
I will be in Nha Trang soon. Why do you prefer Nha Trang?
@@tylerowenfit well I married a viet and built a house. But between the two. Da Nang is more like LA, or New York. To touristy, not as easy to get around. Nha trang does have a little better night life to
Ahh I see. Well I am glad you have found a place that suits your needs better. Thank you for sharing that with me.@@sagepirotess6312
Nah Trang 😂
you trying to get away from places crowded by american tourists but your making a video promoting a place to make money and in the process attracting the very people to those places that you dont want to be surrounded by lol, dont take it personal though theres been hordes of travel vloggers pass through every part of south east asia for well over a decade now that have basically trashed all the good "undiscovered" places by making zeroxed copys of the videos that those before them on the youtube travel grift have already made and presented to the world.. as much as i like to occasionally watch travel vids, they also piss me off because i see places that were once amazing spots that you could only learn about by word of mouth that are now over run by wanna be vlogger instagram types
Welcome to the new world my friend. You are in the information age. Anybody can go onto youtube and learn about a place they may want to visit. I would much rather have access to a platform like this and save time and energy to find out exactly what areas I love and what areas I want to avoid. It's information at the end of the day. You wouldn't have watched the video if you weren't interested in what I was filming. Cheers.
