Great Video bro very detailed and helpful :) Waiting for review of this rom please also include widevine level. I did face skip secondary and skip reboot cmd not working and rom not flashing, i fixed it by using platform tools. l checked the rom and ota update was taking lot of time to install.
I have seen that occur around the forums, even for OxygenOS 😭 What seems to happen is if you have L3 then flash a ROM, it would also have L3. I would only hope that using the MSM Download tool to go back to OxygenOS with a locked bootloader might at least get you back on L1 to start the adventure all over again

Great video, very high quality for a small channel. unfortunately I'm having a problem with my mobile data. Many Google searches haven't gotten me very far. My phone worked fine all day(I installed KOSP yesterday) until I turned it off and on again earlier this afternoon. Now my phone won't detect my SIM card consistently, and if it does, it won't connect to mobile data. I usually get "no service" in the status bar. I use T-Mobile if it matters. My phone was a T-Mobile phone with the splash screen before I followed this tutorial. I factory reset my phone using KOSP's tool and I have a fresh install of KOSP and it still won't work. I restarted my phone and reinserted the SIM card a few times. I''m at a loss, would you recommend I restore OxygenOS and try again? Thanks for any help
Thanks, appreciate it - still plenty to improve on but getting there :) I see quite a few issues with the carrier versions. @@FilthyCasualTech @Filthy Casual Tech Thanks for the response. I used the rebrand tool and installed KOSP and now my SIM card is recognized as soon as the phone is turned on/the SIM is inserted. I've been using it for the past few days, turning my phone off and on and taking the SIM card out periodically, and it hasn't failed yet. One glitch happens rarely when I drag the notification shade down, the system UI will freeze, restarting the system UI fixes it, that's the only problem I have. Also, is KOSP regularly updated? I found out how to use the updater but I'm confused on what to download when they update it and if it requires me to reinstall KOSP or erase my phone or not. Thanks
Glad that it's working better now! KOSP is regularly updated, although unsure where the inbuilt updater checks. Apologies, Pixel Experience does the seamless OTA KOSP is still good though Either adb sideload in recovery or via the updater (basically like a local upgrade from OxygenOS), when it takes you to the file manager you select the OTA file to update (either way you'll need to look out for and download the OTA)
While I still intend to try YAAP and only had limited time with Lineage, my current favourite is KOSP. I really like the additions and even going back to the Pixel 6 Pro, I miss some of them. Pixel Experience Plus has many of the features too, but some just don't work quite right. (I haven't had a good fingerprint reader experience on anything other than OxygenOS though sadly, but smartlock helps)
I assume it's the enhanced security algorithms or whatever Google put in that initially made the Pixel 6 a bit hit and miss. It has been mentioned that YAAP may have nailed the fingerprint, so will see soon enough.
