@@kskroyaltech please...after the installation, am no longer able to reboot my device. It takes a very lng time, and besides, it can't load the OS anymore. the only choice i have is to factory reset the phone. after that, Lineage OS can work again. And if i try to reboot or to turn off, the same problem comes again. Any idea?

Thank you so much... It's almost same as windows, and in fact it's pretty easy.
You just need to install the ADB and FASTBOOT commands in fedora.
Firs install PLUGDEV Group:
*sudo groupadd plugdev*
*sudo usermod -aG plugdev $USER*
then run
*sudo dnf install android-tools*
that's it you are good to go. Both ADB and fastboot commands are installed and your device will be recognised automatically ... no google usb driver is needed

You need to setup ADB & Fastboot drivers on macOS and add its path to the system environment.

How can we safely install the ota updates without losing any data ? i have heard that on most of the custom roms the inbuilt updater just shows that a new update is there and it doesn't actually work, and we have to manually flash it by some method known as "dirtyflash" each time , Do you also do it like that way ?

I usually don't update after installing Lineage OS through recovery.. If its important to update then I download the zip file from lineage website and side load through ADB.

And to install lineage OS on your pixel 3a. Make sure you have updated the firmware check for any software updates. According to this link: wiki.lineageos.org/devices/sargo/install/#checking-the-correct-firmware
you need to be running android 12 .. Then follow the instructions what it says.
But most people don't root their phones right..
As your title says that we can install it on any android mobile, can i install it on my Gionee Max mobile phone which has android 10 on it. And for more detail please check the detail specification of Gionee Max. If my device is not capable enough for lineageOS can i install graphaneOS in it with Google play store support in it.
Check out other custom roms for your specific device. And graphene os is only available with Pixel devices.

Don't OP have different step, I think this step is for pixel os

- After following all the lineageos website installation instructions my phone works perfectly after the first boot.
- The problem comes in after the first boot if powers off/restart the phone it stuck on a boot loop.
Even if i reinstall all the zip following lineageos guide it still occurs

adb devices shows my device when in normal mode. If I reboot it using Home+VolumeUp+PowerUp and I put it in download mode, the adb command does not see it anymore. I removed google account and any security method. The s7 powers up without any security. On the display it it is Downloading mode but says also Secure Download enabled. I cannot upload the img. Any help? Thank you

I guess you have booted into fastboot mode.
try
fastboot devices
@@kskroyaltech there is no other mode available. Pressing the three buttons brings to a prompt window then volume up is the only choice. it shows fast mode and adb does not recognize it anymore. i tries with Odin, it sees it as serial port, I can upload but at the reboot nothing happens. Fastboot devices command does not show it. i have no clue. thank you

I use Linux as primary OS. MacOS is Secondary and I use windows sometimes when needed. The reason I used windows in the video, cause most people rely on it.
