@@FilthyCasualTech It seems to me , the fastboot device works. OEM has been unlocked on the phone. What could be the reason that I can't upload CrDroid?
So if anyone has the OP7T Pro Mclaren Edition, and you are not able to boot into recovery after sideloading. You have to sideload copypartitions.zip before you sideload the ROM. So the steps go -Flash recovery.img to partitions a & b via fastboot. -boot into recovery (fastboot reboot recovery) -format the data -abd sideload the copypartitions.zip (file found on XDA) -abd sideload ROM (this is gonna crDroid in this case) -abd sideload gapps,magisk,etc.. anything else comes after. This should solve the problem of your partition not booting into recovery after sideloading the ROM and fix any boot issues. I was having trouble for a couple of days before I found this out so I hope this helps someone.

Some devices are uploaded differently
Apparently ones like the Oneplus 7 might be in the zip file - question comes up on XDA sometimes
@@FilthyCasualTechMy brother, please help me. When I go to download the recovery, it shows me boot-20241008.img. Is this the recovery file? Please answer me.
What device are you using and downloading for?
@@FilthyCasualTech oneplus 7 pro
Ah, I see how it's a different name format for the 7 Pro
Based on file size it does look to be the correct file you listed above though
i have coloros 12 can i install crdrorid directly?
Believe it should work the same
Hello! Can I do this on Linux????
Possibly, but the commands would be different
You would have to find a guide specifically for Linux unfortunately
Is the process same for redmi note 9s?
From the look of their page, it does look the same
crdroid.net/miatoll/9
It only looks to officially support Android 13 though, unless there is another developer that has ported things for Android 14 unofficially
How to flash magisk
Sir I want all file
ignore the error?
47%?
Correct - it's all good
@@FilthyCasualTech that was a mistake I made when flashing a Mi A2. Rookie mistake I guess.
work on oneplus 11 5g?
I can see OnePlus 11 5G (salami) on the crDroid website, so it looks supported
@@FilthyCasualTech I will review it. Thank you
Okay, what are the benefits?
Will do a run through at some stage.
Number 1 feature would be an up to date device that OnePlus has since stopped supporting
Kernel SU compatible, just install the KSU manager apk. Lots of customizations. Latest firmware, security updates, regular updates...Gapps is your choice. Probably the easiest install of any custom rom since the firmware flasher tool has a downloadable script which updates firmware and recovery. This is my second favourite Rom for OP7pro after Havoc. You will need a good GCam, as the crdroid/LineageOS cam is pretty basic.
I guess it reduce the battery life, isn't it?
The Widevine is L3
Yep, sadly
Please make video for OnePlus 7T as well.
Process will be identical other than the files you grab
Will my phone be safe after this?
As safe as any custom ROM I imagine?
Probably safer than stock though tbh, as the security is kept up to date
does google wallet work on this rom?
Yep, have paid a few times without issue
i dont like that its base on oos12 with bad autonomy
please do derpfest 14
It is on the list one day :)
you are the best
Does the front camera work?!?!
Yep, popup selfie cam works
@@FilthyCasualTech thanks for the info
its work 7 pro

Are you trying to unlock the bootloader in OOS12?
Sometimes it gets stuck, and can only be unlocked in OOS11 - so you'll have to revert > unlock > upgrade
I have installed it successfully
But one issue I can found
Android System Webview is disabled on your device. Please enable the android system webview in Settings and retry to open the page.
Paytm is showing this even I tried to enable, update that webview software and even changed that everything I did but it is still showing this
Have a look on this similar post - hopefully helps
