There’s no orfice tube in a expansion valve system just the Txv valve. Txv systems will have drier/accumulator (aka desiccant bag) on the high side. Orifice tubes will have drier/accumulator only on the cold side. No system will have both. Hope someone finds this helpful
My ac system had a front and rear expansion valve. I replaced the rear expansion valve and the rear orfice tube last week. Would there be an orfice tube at my front expansion valve also ?
Matt, love that this video is formatted better and fills the screen on PC on youtube. Previously it had a border that wouldn't fill the whole screen on a PC. Keep this formatting!
I feel you on just wanting more of the pie yourself, im also a diesel mechanic changing clutches, transmissions, head work (valve seals, injectors, etc. Its not easy work and not everyone does it just like you said yet i feel underpaid😂 Keep going and thanks for the motivation to be more.
the high pressure sensor or low pressure sensor may have gone bad, which tells the ECM to keep the compressor from turning on. that being said, i'm assuming that's essentially what you were checking/bypassing with that probe on the compressor. when i was troubleshooting my a/c last summer in my 01 yukon, part of my testing was just jumping the relay to force power to the compressor. it turned on which told me it wasn't that. ultimately i had a bad condenser. had a hole in it, wasn't able to have any pressure obviously, so the low pressure sensor was telling the system 'NO'. replaced teh condenser, charged the system, compressor kicked on. worked great for a lil while until it just didn't. consulted youtube which led me to a guy testing his low pressure sensor for continuity and how to do it. tested mine, it was shot. replaced it. job done
Let me say what Parker won't. The leak that's coming from "back there" is the evaporate core inside the dash. I guarantee you that when the guy installed that evaporator core, he broke something else and that's why the leak started again after just 2 weeks as the guy stated. The compressor is the least of this guy's problems. That's the deal!
Hey I know I’m not him lol .. what site should I use to build my website I’m on a budget I got a domain through good but idk which is better to build my website. What would you use? Wix?
@@anaarreguin6970 No worries, it depends on what you're trying to do. Having a domain is a good start, Shopify is great for easy selling and has themes you can choose from and build off of. Wix is good too, nice for a bit more website customization. Shopify likely has a free trial you can start with to see if it works for you. Lots of good implementation apps for Shopify as well.
Guarantee he didn’t pull a vacuum after leaking all the refrigerant so there’s definitely air in the system. That coupled with the strain killed that compressor
Guy probably has a leaking O ring at the Evaporator in or out whichever it is on a Ford, try tightening it down. Unless homie cracked the core. But who knows. Tough racket messing with peoples babies

@@vicpetrishak7705 I do believe it is low because truck sat for years till I bought it I don't know how long it was dripping for.I seen green liquid dripping from the bad cracked o- rings that seals the hoses going to a/c

I’m going to guess since you want to talk junk on Parker you probably watch Roadside Rescue videos and think that guy is a great mechanic. Parker bets that guy all around.

Congrats on 100K Matt. You help a lot of people, often at a below market rate.

Yes. I was thinking evaporator, not condenser
@@Golgi-Gyges The condensor is in front of the radiator. The Evaporator is in the HVAC box deep in the dash.

What are you talking about?

Matt misspoke. That is why I commented.
Exactly my thoughts too, that compressor would be the last thing I’d touch, gotta get that leak fixed first
Like some others have said, do not assume the compressor is bad. On a car I had, the compressor wouldn't even get power if the pressure is too low.
Dude, he topped up the pressure, and confirmed that there's power getting to the compressor. He's got this..
I have an 98 Ford Crown Vic and it's a virgin system and it still runs perfectly
Definitely need you in dallas

Jump the switches.

I think they make pressurized pag oil cans that you can add through the low pressure side. Just like if you were topping off with Freon.
Google ac oil and dye injector. What year and make is the car. Cuz you need correct adapter (R-134a or R-1234yf)
Nvm duhhh pag is normally R-134A
Amazon has A/C refrigerant oil injectors . I do not believe you lost enough oil to worry about it .
