Red has to be the most beloved comedian I have ever been blessed to see. I was but a child, but oh, how he made me laugh! I am 63 now, and still he makes me laugh. What a treasure he was, is, and will always be.
Red Shelton brought on stage perfomance back to hanging out with some good friends. He had just as much fun as the fun he gave us. I am born half way through sixties of the previous century. I was a child during the prime of his carrier. Thanks to UA-cam i have a chance to watch Red Skelton and today it’s still as powerful as when he did it. He reminds of a dutch comedian. They both have that same warm, loving energy. Red Skelton is just who he is. He is not performing. He just is. “The hotel guard asked; do you have a girl in there? I said no and then he through one in.” 😂😂
Red was extremely funny! It was sad when he passed in 97. When I heard the news my heart sank. Watched most of his shows as a child ! My favorite was his Christmas skit with Everett Dirkensen "The night before Christmas "in 1968. He truly was a fantastic clown!
My grandmother introduced me to this genius Red Skelton when I was a child. I'm now thirty years old and watch this amazing man on DVD with my children.

yes back in our days ...60 s and 70 s we was lucky and blessed with great comedians Red Carol Lucy. They just needed one name ..we could feel personal as if you were laughing right there with them. Those were the days.
I can still hear my dad laughing clear Thur the house while he was watching Red Skeleton. I was really young and never watched him till tonight. Yes we are living in a different time but it sure nice finding something that clear clean fun to watch...and also to remember my dad who been gone 30 years.
Watching Red Skelton as a child brings back fond memories and the thing that impressed me the most and still to this day gives me the feels is at the end of his show he always said "And May God Bless" thank you for the memories you were a true entertainer
I can watch this 20 times in a row and NEVER get tired of it. Such a great man, when he can make himself laugh you know that he loves to make us laugh & forget our worries & fears for just a little while.😁🐸🇺🇸.

At a time in my life when I've lost my sense of humor. And a time when I find it nearly impossible to laugh at anything. I have been, now for 38 whole minutes, smiling. That's the beauty of this man Red Skelton. He can put joy in anyone's heart. If he has in mine he can do it for literally anyone. Thank you Mr. Skelton, "And may God bless"

I have been desperate to see this again, ever since our tape of this was ruined. You have made a 20 year search come to an end tonight. Thank you so very much for posting this. I remember getting to watch this with my mom & my brother as a kid, and love the jokes and have a greater appreciation for the pantomimes now. I remember watching him on TV he is a great man and a wonderful human being. When he died we lost a wonderful man who we will never see again. As Red would say Goodnight and may God bless.
The greatest night of my life was the night I was truly blessed with the great honor of seeing him preform live. I was in Roll C Center Stage and he was maybe 15 feet in front of me. Only problem was that my jaws hurt for two days from laughing for so long and so much. I remember growing up in my childhood days laying on our living room floor watching him on TV. I never dreamed that I would get to see him preform live.
l have loved him since I first saw Gertrude and Heatjcliff at the age of 3. that will be 64 years ago in early May, 64 years and he still is one of my favorites. Hope to catch your show in heaven!!!!
